Chapter Text
"Let one consume the Greed Of Beauty, Take pride in the Digestion Of Desire, and become one with the Sin of Love."
"..."
...
The story goes with a beautiful moon-kissed child. One that struck hearts from the moment her little body was introduced to the world.
One of the children of the universe, diverse inside to accept all of one.
"Hinomori."
Light blue eyes sparked at the sound of the name, oh how her giggles sounded like a smoothing melody.
"Shizuku."
Tiny fingers wrapped around a pale one. Of the goddess who loved all.
The bubblegum haired woman's fingers touched the small baby shoulder blade.
Grazing her finger smoothly on the soft skin. A symbolic reflection of a mandala embedded on her.
"Become one with your element child. For I shall be the one to greet you when that door shall open for you."
...
"Shizuku!!"
Blue eyes met pink eyes in a shift of moments.
"Airi-Chan!"
A smile hinted onto her lips as her friend intertwined hands with her.
"Congratulations on the test! I knew my skills would come in handy."
"Ah! If it wasn't for you Airi-Chan I don't know what I would do!"
Her airy tone echoed throughout the halls as she walked down them. Everyone turned to stare into the mist of beauty.
The halls of Clexia were quite lively today as everyone conversed about the upcoming day.
A sudden blue haired woman appeared in front of Airi and let out an exhausted sigh.
"Airi-Senpai ~"
"When will you stop teasing me with that??"
"When I ascend to godhood."
Airi groaned as the blue haired attention shifted away to greet the other companion.
"Shizuku! Hello, I didn’t see you there."
A soft giggle came from both girls as to fill in the gaps of an empty conversation.
"Hi Haruka! You're quite lively today, what's the occasion?"
"I woke up in a good mood today."
"If this is you in a good mood, what do you call the other moods you have..."
Airi's comment didn’t go unnoticeable and unheard as Haruka put on the fake saddest face ever.
"Oh Airi! You're being so mean don't you think? Poor little ole me! I have you know I'm just a young kōhai.."
"YOU'RE YOUNGER BY ONE YEAR."
"THAT DOESN'T MATTER."
Shizuku giggled at the little bickering that struck upon the group.
"Hinomori."
A loud voice struck her head in the loudest high power voice. A woman's voice which was alluring and enchanting.
"H-huh..?"
Her eyes scanned the room of darkness that had hints of pink tinted in places.
A dove appeared in front as it landed on her held out finger.
"Follow the will of the gods, my child. For then you shall rise in power."
"W-will of the gods...?"
Her face contorted into confusion as the dove spoke again only for it to be the same words.
"Follow the will of the gods, my child. For then you shall rise in power."
"What does that mean..? Hey!"
A sharp reality was brought back to her as she saw a mixture of blue and pink staring at her.
"Shizuku..?"
"Are you ok, Shizuku..?"
"Yea.. uhm.. shall we head to class?"
"Mhm.. see you later Haruka!"
"Yes, yes see you later!"
But Shizuku couldn't shake off the unknown feeling.
The feeling of consumption of power.
...
"Shii-chan I'm going for a walk!"
"Stop calling me that."
Shizuku put on her boots and grabbed her keys while walking out the door.
"WAIT A WALK?"
Shizuku didn't give her a second to even process before she bee line booked it for the woods.
Serpentine Falls.
A place she sought out for so long even if she got lost about 8 times she made it.
The Goddess of the Universe and all her children stood beside her. 3 empty spaces were at the temple of the guardian. Was she supposed to fill one..?
She swore the temple was calling her in, almost pulling her closer.
But was she supposed to answer?
What does this temple seek?
What lies ahead?
What does it lie behind?
Before she knew it she entered it with a raging storm of running.
She had to find out what was calling her in.
What did it want from her!
"I told you I'd be the one to greet you at the door."
Giggles, someone giggled.
Before Shizuku knew it she opened the door.
She really did it.
She opened the door.
"W-who are you!!?"
"I am the one you seek child. I am your element, your path, your power, your will."
"W-will??"
"Yes my dear child."
"Am.. I??"
"Ascension."
"ME!?"
Shizuku couldn't help but shake and gasp out loud. What did she do to deserve her ascension?
"Come along now, we shouldn't be late."
"I'm c-coming!"
...
"Repeat after me ok?"
"Ok.."
A small gulp came from the light teal girl.
It isn't ideal to be in a middle of a lake naked. Especially when the water barely covers your back.
But a sense of serene came from the condition. Let she was one with herself.
One with the universe.
"I shall follow the path of Luka."
"I shall follow the path of Luka."
"And let all my powers flow within me."
"And let all my powers flow within me."
"The task of Love, Desire and Beauty shall become one with me."
"The ideals of Love, Desire and Beauty shall become one with me."
"For I, Shizuku Hinomori."
"For I, Shizuku Hinomori."
"Accept this fate."
"A-accept this fate!"
A teal glow came from a hidden mandala embedded on that moon-kissed skin.
Her shoulder became the symbolic reflection of her element.
"Happy Ascension Day, Shizuku Hinomori."
Chapter 3: When Memories Snow.
Summary:
The bustling building was dead as it closed hours ago but Haruka couldn't help but feel drawn to it.
Why did it call to her?
Everything about her was so frighteningly cold but this place held warmth..
Warmth that she couldn't describe.
She didn't care anymore, she needed to face it.
Everything she has ever wanted to know was behind it right?
Notes:
Haiii :3 again sorry for any mistakes I think I got all of them in the review but if not I'm terribly sorry!! I also realized that I'd rather use song titles as chapters name so if you guys have suggestions for Minori who is next please tell me!

Chapter Text
"Remants of the past haunt the Embrace Of Winter, A cycle of repeat shall Flow In The Timeless Frost, For a newly formed shape of Ice shall be born."
"..."
...
A child so elegant that flow of water influenced the way her heart froze over.
Could she represent the meaning of Life?
Could she represent the meaning of Death?
Her cycle would continue as long as the winter would continue.
"Kiritani"
A smoothing wave of cold brushed the child's face and engulfed her in a mood of tranquility.
An emotion that would become so fond of that she could even adapt it was her own.
"Haruka."
Glacial eyes sparkled up the cathedral as it connected with that snow-covered stained glass.
A chilling hand glazed over the child's thigh. An everlasting lotus imprinted with the tie to her place of this cathedral.
"May your cycle continue, dim your lit for no one. Carry on and I shall be with you every step of the way. May my path grant you a new beginning in the light."
...
"Haruka!"
"Ah-"
Warm hands intertwined around her body making shivers fall down her spine instantly.
"Minori.. hello."
Somewhat of a smile was plastered on her face she couldn't after what she heard.
It really left an impact on her.
"Is everything ok?"
"Yea.. uhm how about you eat with your friends today? I wanna be left alone."
"Right, I can do that for you Haruka! See you later?"
"Mhm."
Haruka's fake smile didn't go unnoticed from Minori's sharp eyes. Fox eyes looked her and down as they never left till the girl left the classroom.
Still a lingering presence of something being there never left. It was getting too much to handle.
"Maybe I should take a walk..."
Grabbing her bag and her coat she headed outside the classroom only to be stopped by an energetic pink-headed.
"E-emu?"
"Wah hah hah! Haruka-Chan! HIIIIIIIII!"
"Well, hello to you too."
A stifled giggle was placed in her throat as she brought a curved finger to her lips.
"You're looking down today.. DO YOU NEED ONE OF MY SUPER DUPER AWESOME HUGS?"
"Sure, Emu.."
"UWAAAAA!"
Arms wrapped around her tightly for the second time today and it was getting quite tough to keep up with this act.
Slowly but surely her arms made her way around the energetic girl and embraced her.
"Did that make you feel better!!??"
Her voice was laced with so much excitement Haruka couldn't watch that dim off of her.
"Y-yeah! How about we walk together.. I was planning on going alone but accompany me?"
"Yes! Let's go!"
Emu grabbed her hand as they walked through the coat courtyard covered in dead leaves and snow falling small intervals.
"Hello."
Haruka's eyes widened as she saw a woman underneath a tree. But this one seemed to illuminate light.
Yet something was off about it..
It was half lively and dead.
The woman's short hair caressed her face so softly as she held her hand out to catch a snowflake.
"It reminds me of you, my dearest."
A pale smile planted her face as she looked at Haruka with endearing eyes.
"W-who are..."
"The light shall follow you around and meet you there. The will of the gods shall prosper."
Her words stung like bees in the spring as all Haruka remembers is waking up to a blinding light in her eyes.
...
"Ever since that day I've been dying to know more."
A page of a journal was left open. The last page specifically as the chilly air flowed in through the open window.
Haruka didn't know where she was going but she trusted her instincts of where she was headed.
Soon enough she ended up at a greatly worshipped church, or shall she say cathedral??
Crimson Spire.
Pushing past the door which she assumed was locked. Sent a feeling of clarity and acceptance through her veins.
"Was my advice helpful?"
That same voice struck her again.
"Well, it wasn't very direct."
"The path you take here is not mine to make. That's for you to choose."
"Mine..?"
"See the blue glass upon there?"
Haruka's eyes followed the sight of the sparkled glass that beckoned for her to come.
"Come, dearest."
...
"Well.. this isn't uhm.."
"Relax.."
"Do I really have to be naked!!?"
"Symbolic reflection of vulnerability! Wouldn't want to look greedy in front of the gods, no?"
"No.."
"Great, now guide your finger across the snowflake."
A slender finger met the cold outline of the design as she twitched and shivered.
But something about it didn't feel odd or wicked.
Rather controlled and tamed.
"Now repeat after me."
"Ok.."
"Light of Meiko I shall follow."
"Light of Meiko I shall follow."
"May the blessings grant me new life."
"May the blessings grant me new life."
"Ice, Frost, Winter shall prosper under my commanding ways."
"Ice, Frost, Winter shall prosper under my commanding ways."
"For I, Haruka Kiritani."
"For I, Haruka Kiritani."
"Accept this fate."
"Accept this fate."
A glow on that forbidden lotus that stop the flow of time, now ran endlessly within the light.
"Welcome to godhood my dear."
Chapter 4: Join Me In Death.
Summary:
He faced palms as he shook his head in disappointment watching Minori closely.
"Come child.."
But Minori had long tuned him out all she couldn't think of how she would never be claimed.
What was she even here for?
What was her purpose?
Was she even a goddess?
What if she was a phony?
"Child, I'm speaking to you."
Notes:
Same excuse as last notes and stuff heh..
Tw: Nudity, slight depression and stuff (idk how to word it..)
Chapter Text
"Sever the Bond Of Life for a calling of Death, Command the Animals Into The Primordial State, With the Sight of Shape-shifting will accept its fate."
"..."
...
A girl one wouldn't claim to be impressive, caught the eye of a certain celestial.
One to be risen above even with the misfortune she carried.
"Hanasato."
A ring of terror her name could strike but even with her unluckiness she was very well liked.
Cloudy eyes sparkled within the dimension of silence. All she could do is guide through the halls of ghost.
"Minori."
Fingertips grazed the soft skin of her neck as it guided a sign of a dagger to be placed.
What a cold, cold man he was to look at those, cloudy eyes of sunshine knowing the weren't too far from the sunset.
"The shadows will haunt your every waking presence. They'll bow to your command as you represent the mighty king of them. Follow them and become one with them. If you comply, may you meet the shadower."
...
"Minori- dear? My you're gonna be late for school!!"
Minori eyes opened slowly adjusting to the light that influx into her room.
"Hm..?? What time is it?"
Cloudy eyes aligned with the clock next to her bed that read 7:30 am.
"7.. 7:30!!!??"
She hopped out of bed and ran down the hall to the bathroom to get ready.
She should really start waking up earlier.
By the time she got to school it was 8:10 and she saw Shizuku and Haruka already conversing by the gate of Acanora.
"Haruka-Chan, Shizuku-Senpai!"
Both heads turned as they watched the short haired light ginger run up to them.
Obviously without tripping first.
"Min-! ARE YOU OK?"
Shizuku's tone came out in an exaggerated gasp as arms flung out in panic.
Unfortunately she wasn't fast enough Minori banged her head on the floor.
Gosh why couldn't she be careful?
"Ehhh.. where am I..?"
Her body went pale and she felt so cold like she was made of ice. Did Haruka touch her with her powers or something?
"Hello."
"AH!"
A deep hollow voice came from the deep shadows as it swam past her and the corner of her eye.
"Welcome to the passage."
"Passage!!??"
"Oh..? Are you not expecting me??"
Minori's face was twisted in so much terror as the shadow moved so fast she swore it was not real.
"Are you Kita Asuka..?"
"No! I'm Minori Hanasato!!"
"Oh you were supposed to meet my buddy Kevin.. er."
"Who in the world is Kevin!!!??"
"He was supposed to be the one to show you how to get to your path."
"My path..?"
"Yea, but too late now uhm go to Coral Reek? No.. Red Creek?"
The shadow kept flipping and flipping the paper trying to find out what was said.
Eventually Minori got curious and it killed her so badly.
"Am I supposed to be going to 'Thundering Cascades' by any chance..?"
"YES THAT ONE!"
The shadows yelled, making his voice echo in the empty void. Shaking rumbled throughout the realm.
"Well, see you later!"
Before Minori knew she felt her body in pain all over as she felt the wind be knocked back into her.
"WE GOT HER!"
...
It's been a few days since she sat in that hospital. It was quite lively everyday though.
Kohane came some days after her studies to visit.
Shiho came and gave her some gifts of plushies, drew on her skin and played music for her.
Then she had her group that came by daily or occasionally as they were always busy.
But today was dim, gloomy almost.
Nobody came due to the crazy rain showers that wouldn't stop.
If Minori had to think it was probably due to Ichika..
So for today's entertainment was raindrops and a looming shadow.
Wait..?
"SHADOW!?"
She sat right up in the bed watching the flame shaped shadow stand in front of her.
"Hiiiiiiiiiiii! My name's Kevin."
"Ah.. so you're the one named Kevin."
Minori's eyes drifted to anywhere but the thing in the way of his lingering sight.
Yet the presence felt so familiar and true she couldn't help but feel relaxed.
"Shall we go Ms. Hanasato?"
"Go? Go where?"
"Ever shadow traveled?"
"No."
"Great hold on!"
"GAHHHH!?"
Her screaming only lasted a nanosecond as soon the scenery changed from hospital room to river.
More importantly she was wet.
"Good job, Kevin."
"RIGHT ON BOSS."
A man's voice?
She watched him cover his ears due to Kevin loud which she wishes she also knew.
Maybe it would save her the ear popping.
"Oh right! My dearest follower!"
Minori's eyes shifted sharp on the blueberry man as he turned to speak again.
"Happy clam day!"
...
"COLD!"
"Maybe.. today wasn't the best day to do this.."
Minori wanted to die from the river's coldness and not only that. THE FUDGING RAIN POURED HARDER.
Oh how she wanted to beat a blueberry man senseless for standing there mocking her with his umbrella.
"Where's your dagger?"
"Dagger?"
"I don't see it.. did you get the wrong Hanasato, Kevin?"
"I don't think so...?"
Leave me alone.
"Helloooo?"
Go away.
Her hands hugged her knees tighter as she was brought down into a trap of agony and apathy.
"King Kaito! Look!"
Blue eyes met a glowing light orange symbol in a small shape of a little knife.
"Why did I ever doubt you? Heh, silly me."
"What?"
"Beautiful symbol.. I remember when I first made it."
Minori's eyes drifted away as she felt her body get overwhelmed by the water.
She had become one with reminisce lingering shadows.
"Do you accept the position to make everything father at your hand."
"Mhm."
"Wanna make Animals your subordinates?"
"Sure."
"Like Shape-shifting?"
"It's cool."
"Wanna create a String of Bonds?"
"Sounds nice."
"Well then.. Ascension day is complete."
Chapter 5: Shatter Me.
Summary:
I felt like my wings were being clipped down and I could never soar.
That's why I ran.
"AIRI!"
I'm sorry ena.
I said I wouldn't run.
Or hide.
But I ran away from you.
Cause..
I can't face the fact that I don't know who I am.
Notes:
Hiiiii! I'm back idk how many ppl actually read or look for updates but I'm here with a new chapter!
TW: Depressive/Harmful thoughts, Slight Depression, Mention of Pills and Injections.
Song - Shatter Me, by Lindsey Stirling
(BTW: Minori's chapter title was by a band called Him!)
Chapter Text
"Watchful eyes prey on the Soulful Society, With the Intensity Of Intention to change the course of Feelings, While Humanity remains in the Control Sight of Disgrace."
"..."
...
Emotions of the world will lay heavy on you. Never to be forgotten or pushed aside.
They'll flow inside of you, eat you up, and consume your soul.
You'll become connected with the world that has become your oyster.
"Momoi."
Calloused fingers of the twin that shines brighter in the emptiness of the night.
Those fingers hovered over her stomach as a Crescent accepted it's place and worthy of its master.
"Airi."
Bright pink eyes locked onto his heart instead of eyes as her tiny hand gripped onto his chest.
A harsh grip as she doesn't know much lies in her hand that controlled what she wanted.
"Oh dear, you don't understand the power you hold.. maybe it's my fault for all this pressure."
His finger stroked her hair as the baby cooed in his arms.
"When you are dawned with the weight of the world, seek the opportunity to fall down deep. For to fall means you have once flown and you can fly again. Seek out the path that you choose to live in."
...
Why does it hurt so much? Great pain only surges throughout my body.
It lingers in the air and I don't know how to stop it.
They don't even belong to me.. yet it controls me.
Why am I connected to this? Why can't I run?
What is this feeling? Is it my fate? My destiny?
It's been there ever since I was little. I was born into great pain and disillusion.
My eyes blurred as if I felt sad. I felt it x10 harder.
My anger rose above me many times.
I don't mean to do it so why does it happen?
The girl hugged her knees tighter and tighter as being lost in her thoughts drowned her in despair.
She was desperate for an escape and way out.
Any. Way. Out.
"Hey.. Airi?"
A voice rang in her ear. It was soft and sweet, but as soon as my fingers touched her cold skin it was like a shock.
A wave of calmness sent bliss through her veins, her body slowed down.
Correction, it shut down.
Drip.
Water.
She was surrounded by water that as she looked down there was the sight of her falling through.
What was she doing here?
It was so calming and relaxing. What did she do to deserve to be here?
Only light that shined was a half moon. It fully engulfed her body and person.
She found comfort and peace just being in it.
But this won't last forever and she knew that.
She was here for a reason. But what is the reason?
"Still haven't found yourself I see."
"What am I supposed to look for?"
"You. The hidden parts of you."
"How am I supposed to do that with no guidance?"
"You're surrounded by good people."
"But I'm alone."
"You're never alone, Airi."
She hugged her knees tighter as she felt like her heart was going to explode from those words alone.
"Follow your true emotions, don't let the weight take yours."
Her eyes opened to a room full of grey due to it being dark and soft arms wrapped around her waist.
Scents of oils and vanilla filled her nose as she knew exactly who it belonged to.
"Ena.."
She sighed into her intoxicating arms and moved closer. Not like she was ever warm anyways.
Embracing that she had no where to go all Airi could do was join her in a slumber.
That's all she could do.
...
I've developed faster.
And I don't mean to sound better.
Nor do I want to.
It's a true fact.
Ever since I was born, I was cursed with my blessings. I gained my power during my youth.
I never got to experience what others got because all they did was influence me.
They tried to fix me in many ways.
Pills, injections, gas, disconnection, isolation.
But the feelings of others never left me and always clung to me.
I felt like my wings were being clipped down and I could never soar.
That's why I ran.
"AIRI!"
I'm sorry ena.
I said I wouldn't run.
Or hide.
But I ran away from you.
Cause..
I can't face the fact that I don't know who I am.
Soft pants came out. She didn't know where she was or what she was doing here but she needed an escape.
A well.
An overflowing well caught her eye.
It was quite dirty and probably old too. But it flowed just perfectly and oh how beautiful it was.
"Amazing.."
Her head pounded, her heart felt like it could burst at any second, her body felt weak like jelly.
But something about that was so compelling. Like.. she needed to touch it.
And for once she didn't act on the thought that wasn't hers.
No.
These WERE her thoughts.
They were a part of her.
Everything was in her hands yet she chose to ignore it.
This time she's facing it.
"You finally figured it out huh?"
Airi doesn't know when or how she got here, but her hand was inside the well.
"Who the fuck are you?"
...
Why was she doing this again?
See sure she was a little too trusting and dumb and SOME what vulnerable.
But how did she get convinced into this..?
Airi never expected to be told to jump into a well like this is fucking 'Alice in Wonderland'.
But at least it was warm.
Her body was in its comfortable state.
Water surrounded beside her, drowning her and bringing her down. Never stopping for anything or anyone.
But she stayed floating in the middle.
"You figured out how to fly."
"I didn’t soar yet."
"But you flew."
"On who's command?"
"Your command."
Her hair tickled her neck as it waved in the sea of nothing and emptiness.
Just like the night.
Calloused hands of the boy cover her body as his power flowed within that little tattoo.
"You broke the water's surface."
"I broke it? What did I do?"
Then it clicked to her. The surface was based off of her.
How long would it take her to crack?
For the first time since being in this state she opened her eyes to see the voice.
Yellow hair and blue eyes.
"You look like a kid."
Bubbles formed as she laughed at his appearance and form.
"Is that any way to speak to your God?"
"I-I'm sorry! It's just I've never expected you to look like that!"
By now the water probably filled her lungs but it didn't hurt or bring her any pain.
It felt comforting.
Airi reached out for her god and wrapped him in a tight hug.
"I never expected to follow the moon. Hell I never expected to be claimed. But here I am."
"Today's your lucky day then."
His arms wrapped around hers in a tight embrace, one he never wanted to end.
"Repeat after me."
"Mhm."
"Dark Republic of Len."
"Dark Republic of Len"
"As the moon shapes my way of light"
"As the moon shapes my way of light"
"For I, Airi Momoi."
"For I, Airi Momoi."
"Grants them to be the wielder of Humanity, Society and Feelings."
"Grants them to be the wielder of Humanity, Society and Feelings."
A pink glow on a Crescent marks the day she formed a being and identity of herself.
"Godhood Ascension, complete."

"Flowers may wilt and fall apart in harsh winters, but with the recurring spring shall the flourish and reunite."
...
It felt weird to walk the school halls. I mean it was full of familiar and somewhat distant faces. But she was the last one to even reach here.
"Minori?"
A voice called so lovingly she thought she might melt. Soft hands squeezed hers to snap her out of her thoughts.
"Are you ok?"
"Yea, sorry I got lost in thought there!"
She tried to mask her pains with a giggle but the sapphire haired beauty wasn't taking that for an answer so she decided to pry further.
"I don't believe that Minori."
A smile withered slightly but she wasn't going to let that ruin her facade. She had to keep it up, at least till the bell rang.
"Haruka, I swear I'm fine nothing is wrong with me."
"Minori if something is bothering you, it is better to say it now then let it build up."
The thing is that she has been letting it build up. She was upset and she couldn't do anything about it.
No matter how much she really wanted to, she just couldn't. Nothing was ever right in her life anyways.
She couldn't master powers, hell she couldn't even tame them.
Sure that one was hard but even so she couldn't even summon her weapon.
Seems like she got caught up in her own thoughts too much cause the next thing she went was soft arms.
It felt warm and comforting. Strong scents of Jasmine and Iris filled her nose as she breathed it in.
"Well, if you won't tell me Minori then at least let me be there for you physically."
Minori felt like she was gonna disappear from embarrassment but most importantly the feeling of love.
Unfortunately or fortunately, she doesn't know but the bell rang meaning Minori got to escape.
"Bye Haruka!"
She jumped up but obviously not without colliding their heads together.
"Owch.. bye..Minori!"
Minori couldn't take it, she felt like her heart would explode from just being together.
But she couldn't get rid of that one thought.
She was loved.
...
Soft pants came from the taller girl as she took her rightful place on the steps.
Leaning her head back as she watched the younger girl run up and down them over and over.
"You have so much energy and stamina!"
"All parts of my training."
A giggle came from the taller one as she watched the passionate girl train.
Suddenly she stopped and made her way over to sit down and the taller one passed her a bottle.
"This doesn't have miso soup in it right?"
"Nope, water."
The familiar taste of cold nothingness trickled down her throat as it was refreshing.
Suddenly a pair of watchful eyes cut her bliss in half.
"Is something wrong Shizuku?"
"I don't want this moment to end."
Ok. Woah. She wasn't expecting that at all, sure Shizuku could be very blunt and straightforward at times but this was next level.
"W-what?"
She tried to sound normal but that was thrown out the window as soon as she choked on her water.
"Sorry heh, I didn’t mean to make you choke. But sitting here in this moment made me realize, is godhood really what I want? To live forever and ever, stop aging at 20, experiencing things over and over?"
Light blue eyes met Glacial eyes as she took in what the other girl said. Her heart beat crazy fast as if it was to explode any moment now.
"Oh. I-I don't know what to say. I never thought about it like that."
"Fufu.. it's fine, I just had to say what was on my mind. It's an inevitable fate I suppose."
What was she supposed to say? She couldn't empathize cause she didn't know what it was to think like that. God how she really really wants to. So instead she opted for something else.
"Haruka?"
"I can't say I think the same because I don't, but Shizuku if you're feeling like that just know that we'll go through it together. We'll share those experiences and be together forever!"
"Haruka.."
Haruka held out her hand as she smiled, her eyes glossy in the sunlight and her smile just as bright as it.
"Now up! We gotta keep running!"
"Harukaaaaaaaa!"
...
It shouldn't feel this scary so why does it? The teal haired girl gulped as her hands shaked over the door knob.
A soft knock echoed onto the door as it snapped her out of her thoughts.
Gosh, good thing Minori was there...
A brunette answered the door and it looked like she was cooking because she had one glove on.
"Hello?"
Her eyes wandered for a second before landing on the two culprits.
"Ena.."
"Shizuku.."
"Ena-chan!"
"Minori?"
Minori's smile was so bright which made Ena less tense and made the Shizuku part a little harder.
"Come in, I don't know if she will wanna see you guys but it's worth a try."
Ena opens the door wider to let them pass in, they take off their shoes and step onto the cold wooden floor.
"Thank you for having us."
A mumble came from both of them as they made their way up the steps to Airi room.
To be fair Shizuku wouldn't want to see herself if she was Airi.
After all she did allow her to just suffer and suffocate herself in burdens.
Only if she was there for her better and-
KNOCK.
"Minor-!"
Shizuku yelled in a hush whisper with a panicked expression.
"Ena, I'm not setting up the table I'll do the dish-"
"Hi.."
"es."
Airi's face twisted into one of hatred and anger before she saw Minori. Then it switched to a more relaxed angry one.
"What do you guys want?"
"W-well I.. I.."
"What? Cat got your tongue? Speak."
Shizuku bit her lip due to her nervousness and the unfamiliar tone of Airi.
"Airi, do you think we can come in?"
Minori softly spoke up as she moved closer to the pink haired girl. Her body language carried a soft and sweet vibe.
"I-I... uagh! Fine."
The door slammed and hushed voices went unheard as the only sound that Ena ears heard was oil.
And if crying sound came from the room.
She didn't hear anything.

Chapter Text
"Interlink the Memory of the Stars, As the Intertwined Constellations shine to illuminate the night of emptiness, Possess the Glory Of Astrology and wield the Void Of Space.
"..."
...
Galactic water flowed over the time of space. As the young baby could be compared to the comfort of celestials.
What would be her cycle?
Would she choose to do it over again?
Or would she choose to start again?
"Mochizuki."
Twinkling and Sparkles attached itself to its beloved holder. An aura of the being it would prosper and shine within.
Drunken nights would turn to sober days and still she will always be there. Never to disappear or fade away.
"Honami."
Carolina blue eyes illuminated the cathedral with piercing luminosity. It held a meaning and sacred ode. An ode to the glass of promised stars.
Chilling hands covered the child's thigh. A mark of an everlasting lotus to tell her what she shall seek.
"Follow the night as that is what you shall pick. Carry the cycle of determination and I will grant you the feeling. May my path grant you a new beginning in the light."
...
It seemed that luck wasn't on her side this time. Something always has to go wrong.
The sun shone outside and made its selfish way into the room. But no comfort ever came from it.
A face that dawned the expression of confliction didn't go unnoticeable from a certain grey haired.
"Honami?"
A voice called out to her, but fell onto deaf ears. She was too wrapped in the chains of her mind.
Chains of her old self.
"Honami!"
"H-huh-!?"
3 concerned faces were present, she could make out each of them.
Ichika's beautiful navy blue hair with those soft blue ocean eyes stared at her with worry.
Saki's goldish locks that fell down her back today since she decided to wear it out. Oh, those pink eyes that carried sadness and comfort.
And lastly, Shiho had short grey hair and her green eyes that betrayed her stoic face.
"Hona-chan.. are you ok?"
"Sorry, I got lost in thought there!"
A soft chuckle came from Honami but the group wasn't buying it.
"You didn't answer the question."
Shiho locked eyes with her neither one of them breaking it. Sure, it was uncomfortable and made Honami scared but not like she could escape it.
"Well?"
"I-I'm fine, I swear!"
"Liar."
Shiho huffed out as she hopped off the table she sat on. She watched the girl walk towards her but never got close due to being stopped.
"If Honami says she's fine then she's fine Shiho."
"I call bullshit."
Calloused hand connected with the navy girl, shoulder dealing no damage but enough emotional power to get her point across.
Eye contact shifted between Carolina and Lime eyes to Ocean and Lime eyes.
It made the navy girl shiver under the stare and made her nervous. Shiho sighed as she looked away slowly.
"I'm sorry, if I came off harsh. I just don't like when she gets like that."
Softer words came from the girl again and she tried to walk more. But Ichika decided now wasn't the time to be scared. Hesitantly gulped as she decided this could go on any more.
"That doesn't mean you get like that. Watch your tone, I'm sure Honami would understand if it was just in a softer tone."
Shiho's voice died down in the room as both Saki and Ichika watched her.
Ichika's face twisted into one of disappointment as she grabbed onto the other hand.
"I don't like when you get like that."
The two disbursed into a conversation as Honami couldn't help but drift into her thoughts again.
Suddenly the room shifted from daylight to a sea full of stars in a second.
No. She would describe it as a blink.
"W-what!!?"
Standing up from her seat, she scanned the room as everything but herself and the desk she claimed as her disappeared.
"Where am I!?"
Panic quickly entered her voice as she couldn't help looking around frantically.
"Hello."
"Who goes there!?"
She knew she was close to tears. Of course on this awful day something weird also has to happen.
An illusion of a lady appeared as she stood under a tree, but the spot she appeared to be placed made it spotlight on blooming flowers.
"Follow the will of the night sky, no matter if the stars get darker and the light dims down. Accept it was your own power. Only then shall you prove to endure my blessings."
Honami wished she could've asked more, cause maybe then it would've been better not see more concerned faces.
Time to explain again.
...
Somehow it was windy and humid at the same time. Honami couldn't help chuckle as she knew who the culprit of it was.
'Poor Ichika' she thought. To be honest if she had the big responsibility of controlling weather she would probably be the same.
But something about this weather made her want to walk. The cloudy skies didn't sit right with her.
And just staring at them didn't bring her any comfort anyways.
"Hii-chan? Are you heading out?"
Her mom's voice rang in her ears so sweetly she almost wanted to turn back, run into her arms, and just spill out.
But she was determined and maybe a slight bit desperate to shake off this feeling.
"Mhm, I'll be back before dinner."
"Be careful!"
"I will!"
Now, Honami doesn't know how long she walked for but she walked enough to end up, somewhere she definitely wasn't supposed to be.
The night sky definitely got darker and quite eerily. Something about it was disturbing and distant but it wasn't scary.
Actually she felt weirdly at ease..
So once again she finds herself in a place she doesn't even belong.
Crimson Spire.
It read on the outside, and somehow Honami found herself inside.
Inside and having an awkward staring contest with someone who was obviously high power.
"Well, this is definitely not how I expected to meet you my dear.."
Brown eyes met blue ones in the dark cathedral.
Pretty stained glass made to represent seasons. Most of them empty except for one.
A pretty light pink one that looked so star-striking.
"I remember you.."
"I'm glad you do."
The short brown woman giggled at the comments.
"Not just going to stand there are you? Come now, claim your place."
"Ehhhhh??"
...
This was a little embarrassing.
Or maybe more humiliating?
Or maybe disgraceful..
Honami couldn't tell which term to describe this as. I mean isn't it wrong to not be modest in a church let alone a cathedral!!?
"You're a bit tense.."
"Being naked in a cathedral isn't actually ideal.."
A nervous laughter came from the brunette that squirmed under the pressure of watching eyes.
"It's all a part of the claim process unfortunately. I would change it if I could."
Eyes scanned Honami's small body in search of a small symbol.
"There you are!"
"Eek!"
Cold hands came in contact with her thigh making her tense up.
Looking down she saw a light red brighten up the cathedral. It was truly a pretty sight, too bad she couldn't stare at it longer.
"Come my love."
"Coming.."
A pair of mature hands guided one of adolescence to a glass art.
A surge of power running in the stream of her blood. Consume her of every inch, leaving no part unscathed.
"Repeat after me."
"A-alright!"
"Light of Meiko I shall follow."
"Light of Meiko I shall follow."
"May the blessings grant me new life."
"May the blessings grant me new life."
"Stars, Space and Astrology should falter at my hands of commands."
"Stars, Space and Astrology should falter at my hands of commands."
"For I, Honami Mochizuki."
"For I, Honami Mochizuki."
"Accept this fate."
"Accept this fate."
The glass reflected her appearance, one that she could recognize so often. It was hers and hers only.
Nobody could control it or take it away from her.
It was authentically her.
"Happy Ascension Day, my love."
Chapter 8: Disasterology
Summary:
"Here for me?"
"Mhm. Unfortunately this space won't last long."
Her pale finger pointed to the gray rushing color heading towards them.
"Still remember, I'm here for you Ichika."
"Wait! Don't go!"
It was a wave of pain rushing through her as a waving hand was in her face.
"Ichii-chan?? Are you ok? The bell rang 2 minutes ago."
"Ah! I'm coming!"
Ichika got up fast, rushing out of the room to catch up with the others.
"Weird.. the rain stopped."
Notes:
HIIII sorry for taking so long to update gulp I was debating on whether to post this chapter or finish Saki's... but decided to post anyways. Still have fun and enjoy

Song - Disasterology by Pierce The Veil (PTV)
Chapter Text
"Water will move and bend in your creation, Oceans will beckon for your calling and fall into your hand, While they last piece of the Sky shall be complete."
"..."
...
A library full of the elements of life, stories full of the children who would tame it.
A banquet hall of knowledge and the acceptance of who they are. To be seen as a giver to mortal, a blessing to the celestials.
She shall rule part of this hell that we call earth.
"Hoshino."
Petals of a leaf fell onto the child head. An erupted of giggles and laughter as a wide smile was brought to her face.
Hands that could only be described as ghostly grazed over the babies foot. It was small compared to the hand of the guardian.
A small leaf to signal the day she was claimed.
"Ichika."
Ocean eyes that moved like water in the calm sea of waves, a slow settlement of a clearing storm.
The book fell from the shelf and into the the, guardian hands as the words she spewed out caught the babies attention.
"Purpose will be hard to find in the eye of holder, emotions shall arise into an unknown identity. Let the key of knowledge unlock the door, and finally grant you one final remorse."
...
It was storming again. Whispers flooded the halls that gods must have it out for the students, or that they must've pissed them off.
"It's storming again? Jeez that makes that the 5th day in a row."
Ichika could recognize that voice from anywhere. Saki always had a distinguish from the others. Plus she considerably the only one fake pouting right now.
Ringing alarms echoed within the classroom as a warning about floods or something like popped up.
"Flash flood.."
Honami voice was filled with mild concern and some softness.
"NOOOOOOO!! THAT MEANS STAYING IN DORMS.."
Saki voice was so distraught as her yelling made the class look at her like she was crazy.
"There, There. It's not that bad right? That means you stay with me Saki."
"But I hate dorms!"
Saki protested in Honami refute to calm her down. Failing in that Honami relied on her next form of getting Saki to accept her fate.
"Is staying with me really that bad?"
"No! Never Hona-chan! I didn’t mean it like that!!"
A panic looked surfed the blondie face as Honami kept up with her little teasing act.
Ichika is pretty sure the conversation kept going and going but she was way too busy spaced out.
Something about seeing the rain fall was comforting.
It was hard and resilient, yet she wanted nothing more than to just be in it.
She pretty sure a smile was planted on her face. It probably looked like she psychotic but she didn't care.
"You're smiley today. What's up?"
Calloused hands tapped her shoulder making her jump slightly. Facing the culprit she was met with the girl infront of her.
"Ahh.. Shiho, you scared me there."
"Didn't mean to startle you. Just wanted to know what you're thinking."
Ichika blushed at the comment, she got caught in her own ways that she didn't even sight of those watchful lime eyes.
Looking back up Ichika eyes widen when she saw that she wasn't in her classroom anymore.
"Ehh!?"
Standing up too fast for her own good making her taking a slight tumble.
She would describe the area as a grassland. Sounds of cicadas cricketing in the far distance.
It felt warm here.
"Boo!"
"Ah!"
"Teehee!"
Soft giggles sounded in her ear as she fell back on her bottom. Catching the mere sight the being that swifted pass her.
"Who are you?"
"You'll find you soon. Just know Ichika, I'm here for you."
"Here for me?"
"Mhm. Unfortunately this space won't last long."
Her pale finger pointed to the gray rushing color heading towards them.
"Still remember, I'm here for you Ichika."
"Wait! Don't go!"
It was a wave a pain rushed through her as a waving hand was in her face.
"Ichii-chan?? Are you ok? The bell rang 2 minutes ago."
"Ah! I'm coming!"
Ichika got up fast rushing out the room to catch up with the others.
"Weird.. the rain stopped."
...
"I'm here for you."
Those words ran through her mind over and over. She just couldn't find out what it meant.
Was it physically?
Was it mentally?
Emotionally?
What the heck did it mean?
Ichika tapped her pencil on her notebook sounds of water being poured filled her ears.
"You shouldn't work on an empty stomach you know."
"Honami..."
Ichika couldn't help stare into that familiar and warm face.
"What's on your mind hmm?"
The jug of water was placed on the table as the rain poured for the 6th day in a row. This time it was sorta light.
"It's nothing in particular, but can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead."
She watched those beautifully taken care of hands hang at the side of her body.
"What do the words 'I'm here for you' mean to you?"
Ichika watched her face as it twisted from shock to pondering.
"To me? Well, I would say that someone is always there for me no matter what."
A soft smile graced the beauty in front of her.
Then it clicked.
"I-Ichika??"
Honami watched as the navy girl got up fast rushing towards the door.
"Where are you going!? It's pouring outside!"
"That's exactly the answer I need, Honami! Thank you!"
Honami watched at the Navy girl rushed into the rain that now poured heavily.
"ICHIKA!"
Sounds of her name being called went unheard. She ran like her life depended on it.
She knew exactly where to head.
She splashed puddles on the sidewalk pushing past the group of people.
She might of looked crazy but she didn't care.
As long as she made it to her destination.
The extravagant place of Innocence
The extravagant place of Healing.
The extravagant place of Water.
The extravagant place of elements.
The extravagant place of LIFE.
Eternal Library.
Pushing open the door as her chest felt like it would burst any moment and she heaved at the air finally flowing through her lungs.
Dripping, no. Soaking wet she would say as she made her tired feet across the floor.
Her aiming point was for the stairs as it looked like the best place for her.
Too bad she passed out.
"I'm here for you."
...
"Sorry. I know it not the most comfortable position but it was the best one I could get you in.."
Ichika felt a mild discomfort in her body as it jolted from her spine towards legs.
Still it felt right.
"I-Its.. fine."
She sighed as her head leaned backward on the stairs.
"Actually you lay down on the stairs if you want!"
Shouted the voice that rolled on the book latter, searching for something.
"Aha! Found it! Book of Water..."
Ichika watched the book glow in her hands and it had her star-struck.
"Now where is the mark..."
Flipping through the pages she smiled looking at the cute picture of the girl on the stairs.
"Oh on the foot!"
She closed the book and rubbed the navy girl foot and sure enough the mark was there.
It glowed a pretty steel blue that made the leaf look angelic.
"Ready? Repeat after me."
"Mhm.."
"Hands Of Miku."
"Hand Of Miku."
"Bring me to Life."
"Bring me to Life.
"To wither creation by hand"
"To wither creation by hand."
"Let the Weather, Oceans, and Water follow me as thier guide."
"Let the Weather, Oceans, and Water follow me as thier guide."
"For I, Ichika Hoshino."
"For I, Ichika Hoshino."
"Will, create my fate."
"Will, create my fate."
Power flowed into the book as fast as it could and brought color to a section of the library.
"Good job, you ascended my dear."
Chapter 9: Unbreakable.
Summary:
Walking outside of the school building they got to the big scramble crossroads.
But Shiho couldn't help but feel uncomfortable like she was out of her body.
"SHIHO-"
A yell was heard but she couldn't process anything as all she saw was a vast space of emptiness.

Chapter Text
"Ride the clouds that make a Sea of Sound, With the desire to be on the Show Of Wavelengths, To create the Instruments of Finality in a vast space of nothingness."
...
"Hinomori."
Lime eyes met a deep hollow blue that sparkled in the great plain of black.
A soft playing of a bass and piano together trumpeted in void of silence.
It was soothing for the baby, it was the sweetest lullaby that she could ever hear.
She cooed as the man's interlocked with her small palm. Letting her grab and pull away from it.
Small patting made a perfect follow along in the company of the Instruments playing.
"Shiho."
Hand of velvet laid the child down to rest as he slowly marked her neck with a symbolic dagger.
The sound played louder with the representation of her claiming.
"They'll lurk in the back of your mind, with pieces of dead connected to your awakening. Fill the void with the nature you consume to be your own. Follow the shadows as they curse and scream at you to die. For then, I'll be standing there waiting for you, on the other side."
...
Music blasted in her headphones as she stared out the window. It's gotten quite lonely, she supposes.
After all, she was the only one still stuck in Clexia. All her friends ascended already.
Atleast she still had Minori with her.
Suddenly the light ginger busted into the room as she ran up to Shiho.
"Speak of the devil.."
She quietly muttered underneath her breath as both their eyes met in the died down crowd.
"Shiho!"
"Hi, Minori."
The smile that was plastered on the girls fast made her heart skip a beat. It was so warm that she couldn't help but smile as well.
"Are you busy today? Do you have practice?"
"Not today, unfortunately."
"Sounds like a Shiho response."
A quick giggle came from the cloudy eyed girl as the smiley expression she wore was wearing out.
Shiho didn't take this lightly, she knew the struggle Minori was facing.
Because she was struggling with it too.
Everyone she knew ascended already and was just stuck here.
Alone and lonely.
That melancholy feeling she knew all too well for her own good. Yet she always welcomed it as an old friend.
"How about we go to that new ramen spot that opened up?"
"Ehh..? But I didn't bring any money.."
"My treat."
She watched that sparkle turn on like fire in Minori's eyes as she stood up fast.
"Well let's go!"
Walking outside of the school building they got to the big scramble crossroads.
But Shiho couldn't help but feel uncomfortable like she was out of her body.
"SHIHO-"
A yell was heard but she couldn't process anything as all she saw was a vast space of emptiness.
"Ah.. ok let's see.. Shiho Hinomori right?"
Her dissociation disappeared with the loud ghastly voice that speaked right in her ear.
"What the hell! Where am I?"
"Woah ho ho.. chill! I'm just the shadow that looks after you."
"I don't care! Who even are you?"
"I'm the one keeping you alive. Until you start your system again, I'm stuck here with you."
"W-what?? What do you mean?"
A sharp pain spreaded through her stomach as she clutched the area and fell to her knees.
"You'll find out soon enough."
"G-gah.."
Her pants came out soft, it hurt to even breathe.
Yet she knew this feeling, sure it never appeared in her stomach.
But it definitely appeared in her heart.
Her heart was filled with loneliness and yearning.
"You're not dead till you're warm and dead"
She couldn't even speak as she felt her mouth run dry and all the air left her lungs.
"You'll arise soon, keep on fighting till then."
Lime eyes met blue ones.
No, it met a deep hollow blueberry of a man.
Shiho hand reached out in a last hope of desperation and any solidarity she could earn.
"I'm sorry."
His fingertips touched her forehead, it felt so magical and her problems seemed to float away.
Until it was agonizing and she kinda regretted complaining about that stomach pain.
Because this was so much worse.
"SHE'S STABLE MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!"
...
She wishes that she was still in the emptiness cause now she has to listen to several different people's lectures.
And she prays to the gods that this is the last one.
"Shii-chan!"
Her busted open and soon enough the culprit was a bright yellow, sunny girl. Only this time it looks like the sun has dulled.
"Thank goodness, no thank the heavens you're okay!"
Arms engulfed her tightly like they would disappear any second. Shiho sighed into her shoulder.
The smell of birthday cake filled her nose as it was comforting and brought her back.
"When Minori told me what happened I was so frightened! What happened to you? Why'd you just stand there? I thought I lost you forever there!"
Sobs were present now as it didn't take long for a damp spot to appear on her gown.
She hated the feeling but it was better to endure if anything.
It grew silent as the sob was reduced to silent whisper.
"You never answered my questions."
A hoarse voice squeezed out. Oh how tiny it was, it made Shiho wanna melt into a puddle.
"I'm sorry, I wish I could tell you Saki. Unfortunately I don't even know."
"Are you suicidal..?"
"WHAT NO!?"
Just the accusation made her want to berate the blondie but the accusation in a hospital?
When Shiho gets back to normal she's definitely making her practice a lot.
"Good.. just checking."
The conversation ended at that as silence filled the room. Well not silence, the only noise that echoed within the room was the rhythmic heart monitor beeps.
Soft snores came from the girl that laid against her chest. Holding on even tighter than ever.
"I guess I should sleep as well.."
Closing her eyes as a wave of tiredness rushed over her.
"Welcome."
...
Opening her eyes she found herself by a river, one that looked so beautifully clear and dull.
She doesn't know why but it really reminds her of someone.
And perhaps that someone is herself.
"Welcome."
Looking above the sight of a person who definitely held a lot of power looked over her.
"Thank you..?"
"I would've greeted you in another way but I suppose you suffered enough."
"You think?"
Her face deadpanned as she finally came aware of her surroundings.
And herself.
"Ghostly.."
Stretching out her arms to look up in the sky dazzled in stars. Honami had gotten really good at her powers.
So did Ichika.. it doesn't rain as much.
Saki.. she knows what she needs to do.
And her... she was just there.
Slowly the water soothed her skin and brought her thoughts to a stop.
"Made my job a whole lot easier, thanks!"
The man really looked happy as he examined her neck in search of something.
"Dagger!"
"Huh..?"
A light green light rose up illuminating a small space for a small second.
"Now, let's see what you're destined for..."
His fingertips touched the dagger as it connected with her memories.
"I'm thinking about Wavelengths, Sound and Instruments.. how does that sound?"
"Fine by me."
"Well! Happy Ascension Day!"
Chapter 10: Pocketful Of Sunshine.
Summary:
Harsh gasps came from the once tranced girl. She still felt that warm hand on her but now it held some sort of grip and worry.
"S-Saki-!?"
Honami's voice trembled in fear as Saki held her chest with her fist. Her blouse getting trampled in process.
Rouge eyes shifted into more serious and widened once as the sweat dripped down her forehead. Her body in a hunched position as she gripped her thigh so hard she could make it bleed.
And of course. That little shining yellow light pointing to a hidden spot in the museum.
Just what was down there calling her...?

Chapter Text
"Perversance Inflicts your Mind as if it sticks like gum, With the Energy To Reach Your Final Form, Let it collide with The Love Of Agriculture so the world continues to rise."
"..."
...
On that very same bed she will lay again. Under those blinding lights that dawned on those of the feeling of unworthiness.
Sculptures on display to show the world a fake sense of self. Beauty to be blessed by the ever so loving sun.
A hidden away promise to the person she ever so loved. Could the daylight heal that?
"Tenma."
A child laced with so much sickness that could make the flowers wither from just a touch. But her heart will yearn for something more.
Something that those blinding lights wouldn't be able to pick a fight with. Something those flowers would bloom for again.
Glowing fingers touched the child little nose with the imprinted of the sun
"Saki."
Those wild rouge colored eyes will paint the sky with new clouds and growth.
A fresh relief of the harvesting light that would bless the people with a new day.
A final form of the person she came to be.
"Rays of light will only lead you on if you let it. Hope and push for something more. Take my welcoming arms and hope for a new future. So when the time of blessing comes, I'll be there."
...
I hate not being able to endure it. Why can't I work as hard as them? Am I just a burden?
Everyone is so cautious of me and pities me but I don't want it. I hate feeling small.
I hate feeling useless, to have no power over my own body kills me.
Somedays I don't want to carry on.
Why should I live in a body that I can't control?
It hurts.
All I feel is pain and I want it gone. Why won't it leave?
A golden light shines upon her vulnerable body. The light was small and dimmed but still there.
Just like her. She was small, afraid, scared, but nothing would stop her from disappearing.
"Warm.."
"Hi there.. you're so precious.."
Warm hands cupped her tear tainted cheeks, her rouge eyes glossy and wet. Eyes rapidly scanning over the figure hovering over her.
"My, look how beautiful you are. Such a shame life is treating you like this."
"I-I'm scared!"
She couldn't hold the trembling in her voice the way her body shook like a leaf being blown in the wind.
"It's ok to be scared! It'll fade away."
Little arms found its way to comfort as she clung to the celestial that reassured her.
"Hehe, I hope your light continues to get brighter. This dim light won't do anything."
Hands stroked her long blonde hair that hints of pink stained at the tips.
"Saki.. let the light in."
Saki's eyes flew open as her eyes were assaulted by the bright sun not a second later.
"Arggh.."
Next came the loud voice of her brother who she loved dearly but not at 7 am in the morning.
"SAKIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
Her eyes caught a glimpse of the wonderful man who graced her life.
"IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOLLLLLL!"
"Thank you for that dear brother."
A soft smile gracing her face as he turned to leave.
"Hmmm.. what a weird dream."
...
Could what she be doing be considerably a felony?
Yes.
Is it also illegal?
Again yes.
Does she care?
Not one bit.
"Jesus.."
Saki let out a sigh of relief as she sneakily maneuvered around the heavily guarded museum. Who knew that there was so much security in a place like this?
But then again she really shouldn't be here, to be honest she's only here cause... she saw it.
The light.
It all started when her school took a trip to the museum of the sun goddess. To say it was breathtaking was an understatement.
It was absolutely mystical, amazing, stunning! The way the big statue in the middle of the museum stood with the sun goddess looking down upon her.
Now that's what she calls a 10/10 masterpiece.
Then it got to walking down the halls of the museum and the goddess or gods to be under her influence.
"Isn't that Ena-chan? Isn't she your friend Honami?"
The blondie asked with her gaze focused on the sculptural beauty in front of her.
Everything about it was perfect to say the least. The shape, expression, lines, form, color.
Ena truly had a pretty place in this museum.
"Isn't it just fascinating? Ena sure is lovely."
That sweet, honey tone rang through Saki's ears as she felt warm hand engulfing with hers.
Unfortunately it was when their hands intertwined she felt her body go weak.
Her eyes suffered the same fate but unlike her body it was once again assaulted by some form of light.
Her knees fell onto something hard and rough. Still it was smooth and polished.
Almost like..
"A stage?"
Her eyes creaked open to watch as the limelight shined upon her. But to her surprise it wasn't an ordinary light.. It was sunshine.
"Isn't it nice to be under the sun?"
A voice shattered any thoughts she could've been having. She turned her head to the source but there wasn't one.
Just a yellow orb..
"Did.. DID I DIE!?"
Panic surged through her veins as her eyes were so close to popping out.
"Oh good heavens, no!"
The orb sounded like it heard that statement before as it sounded quite dumbfounded.
With a good attempt Saki tried to stand up but it felt like a ton of bricks weighed down on her body.
"Eugh.. I can't move.."
She felt her chest closing up and everything becoming heavier as she was chained to the stage.
"Saki."
"H-how.. Do you.. know m-my name?"
"Become one with the sun, the light you so wish to put out still ignites inside you. Do not blow it out so soon, strengthen it to be your last hope. The final person you wish to be."
"Wha-?"
Just what was down there calling her...?
...
Saki knows she can be a little too willing and maybe too ambitious. But this.. this was a whole new level of determination.
Looking through the big glass windows Saki could tell it was morning , so she had to do this fast.
"If any of you gods can hear me give me the strength to run."
Her rouge eyes closed with her hands clasped together as she watched and listened for her chance to go.
"Now!"
A voice that wasn't hers not her thoughts yelled through her mind. It left her shocked to say the least but the show goes on!
So she ran like her life depended on it to that blind spot of the museum, pushed open the door and was met with a world wide enemy.
Stairs.
"Oh take me now."
An inevitable despair was on her face as she started walking downward and slowly down the steps.
On estimate maybe it was 35 steps or maybe more. The only thing in her mind was the fact she has to walk back up all this.
"This better be worth it! Stupid yellow orb.. why'd I come here.."
Finally she reached the bottom, in sight she could see a door with a sign hanging over it.
'Heliology'
"Study of the sun huh.."
Saki could feel it in her body the power she was about to witness just by standing here.
No way she wasn't going to meet someone of high power.
Slowly pushing open the door she was met with a beautifully decorated laboratory.
Golden banners, capsules with a shimmery liquid in them, a chandelier, a table made from the finest materials such as gold and silver.
"Hello, Saki."
It finally hit her that someone was by the capsules and lord was she so beautiful.
She was almost glowing and she lord did she look so soft.
"Look how big you've gotten.."
"Have.. you always been watching me..?"
Her body shivered at the thought of being watched, that so creeped her out.
"Not exactly.. but I've been growing your light."
"My light?"
She always felt like there was something making her keep going.. even when she was sick or just in despair.
"The light that never went out. Warmth you never let go of, that's why you hold my beloved mark."
"H-huh?"
As she looked down at a glowing yellow light on her nose. She couldn't see it but jeez how many times can her eyes get assaulted?
"Not a very convenient spot.."
"I wasn't the one to pick it."
The celestial shrugged as she tapped on the glass that held the shimmery liquid.
"Unfortunately to be claimed you'll need to get in this."
"I didn’t exactly bring a change of clothes..."
"That's fine, you'll be naked anyway."
"N-NAKED-!?"
Oh how Saki was gonna kill that orb for bringing her here.
But nonetheless she did it, slowly undressing herself and stepped into the capsule.
"Can you hear me?"
"Mhm.."
Her voice responded, sounding a little weird due to being underwater. Wait, could she even call this water?
"Repeat after me, Holy Saviour Rin.'
"Holy Saviour Rin."
"Guide my heart to the place of luminosity."
"Guide my heart to the place of luminosity."
"Make me the embodiment of Perversance, Agriculture, and Forms."
"Make me the embodiment of Perversance, Agriculture, and Forms."
"For I, Saki Tenma."
"For I, Saki Tenma."
"Shall be the guardian of the sun."
"Shall be the guardian of the sun."
The shimmery liquid around them started to whirl around and all Saki could do was let it take over her.
"Make you guide us all.. Happy Ascension Day."

Chapter Text
"If one day we explode and return to the abyss we call the sky, could you guarantee we'll see each other? As for me.. I wouldn't want to be in a universe where we are apart."
...
"Honami, I'm sure she'll show up soon."
Honami couldn't help but be so anxious. I mean what was she supposed to do? Her friend just ran out in the pouring rain and now it was sunset.
The orange hue stained the sky like a pretty canvas. The almighty stars almost making their glowing return to signal nightfall.
That only worsened Honami, her finger tapping against the kitchen counter of her dorm.
"Ichika!?"
Someone's voice rang from outside of the dorm house. It sounded shocked and worried.
Honami felt like her worst fears were coming true. What if the girl was hurt? Or even worse on the brink of death!! Wait no.. then she wouldn't have made it far..
Suddenly a hand squeezed hers and her haze was broken. The hand was calloused and slightly warm.
"Shall we go see her? We might need to bring a towel as well."
Those calming lime eyes and the familiar face of warmth could reassure her in an instant.
"Let's go see her."
Walking outside the other worrywart was giving the navy blue girl the scolding of her life.
"S-Saki-!"
"What if you had gotten sick!? Or or hurt!? Or-"
Ichika just smiled as the raindrops dripped down her wet hair and her clothes drenched.
If anything Honami would compare her to a sopping wet kitten. Her clothes stuck to her body and hair planted on her face.
"Here."
Shiho's calm voice broke through Saki's rant as a warm towel was propped on the soaked girl.
"Why'd you run out anyways Ichika?"
Saki had a pout on her face and her arms crossed over her chest.
"O-oh! Uhm... heh.."
"Was it because of what I said?"
Honami's voice came out in a whisper. Maybe she messed up when she answered Ichika like that.
"NO! I mean yes.. but not in a bad way."
"So why did you run?"
Shiho asked without any delay or hesitation.
"Uhm.. I was claimed..! Surprised..?"
Silence filled the current outside air.
"WHATTTTT?"
...
"Shihooooooooooo!"
"No complaining! I told you I was going to make you practice extra hard because of that."
Shiho cut off any more whines from the blondie who inevitably accepted her fate.
"But that was genuine concern!"
"In the hospital though Saki?"
Saki gave a cheeky smile at Shiho's defeated face. Who knew getting this girl to practice was this hard?
"I was really worried, you know."
Saki sank to the floor leaning against her keyboard for a soft support for her head even if it was quite hard.
"When Minori called me in a frenzy I thought you were a goner. I can't stand the thought of losing you Shiho."
"Saki.."
Shiho lips into a thin line as she didn't know what to say. I mean what are you supposed to say when your closest friend says she is scared to lose you?
"Promise me you won't disappear, Shiho."
Saki's eyes were glossy now and tearful but still had that same smile. That adorable strong one when she was trying to keep her cool.
"I-I won't ever disappear Saki. Never ever."
It felt weird, this felt weird. Isn't she supposed to follow the god of death? That is her destiny, to be blessed by the souls and spirits. So why does she find herself scared to face the only thing she is made for?
"You didn't say you promise, say you won't die Shiho. Say it."
"I promise.. I promise I won't disappear."
Vulnerability, she hated the feeling of it. The image of it never fit her well and she never liked it. So why did her walls come down so easily?
More importantly... Why did she promise something she could never guarantee? She was a god right, so why did she act on human nature?
"Shall we continue practicing?"
Shiho suggested noticing the silence has gone on for far too long.
"I was hoping you wouldn't remember..."
Saki groaned in response as she stood up and stared at the keyboard in dread.
"Let's start, hmm?"
"Yea, let's start."
...
"Oh dear.."
The sight was quite dreadful to say the least. Ichika looked so tired and exhausted. I guess power class was draining.
But no way could it be this draining right? Maybe it's because they follow different gods? Even so she follows the goddess of life so shouldn't.. she be full of it?
"Eugh..."
The poor girl could barely hold up her pencil, her eyes could barely hold themselves open.
"Ichika..?"
"H-Honami..?"
Ichika had one eye open squinting to see that brown haired beauty but she just could barely see.
Everything was blurry and nothing made sense even if she tried her hardest to listen.
"Shouldn't you take a break?"
"Ah.. I'm going to take one soon at 2."
"Ichika it's 4."
Honami's face contorted into dismay as she shook her head in disappointment.
"Oh.. well.. uhm! I just need to finish this and then I'll take a nap."
"No. We're taking a break now."
"But Hona-"
Ichika's head felt something replace the cold hard desk she glued herself too. Instead this desk was like a portal of warmth.
"Warm.."
"You shouldn't have overworked yourself."
Honami scolded gently while stroking her hair. It felt pretty thin probably from all that stress she was carrying.
"I'm sorry.."
Sleepy mumbles came from the navy haired girl as all she wanted was to drift off to the dreamlands.
"I'm not mad Ichi, just take care of yourself these days ok?"
"Okay.."
A blanket was casted over her exhausted body which made her shiver in delight.
This is literally all she wanted: a nice pillow, a warm blanket and sleep.
"Good night Ichika..."
Chapter 12: Novacane
Summary:
An shot a nervous glance in Toya's direction and then she turned to scowl at the ginger headed boy who sold her out.
A wicked smirk played on Akito's face but it didn't last long as in a second later something came flying at his face.
That was the moment time slowed down for Toya. A small crumpled piece of paper carried a pink glow across the room. Then the darkness engulfed the room
Notes:
Woahh I updated it's been so long and like I kept telling myself go make Toya's chapter but I got lazy and was in a slump. This chapter might be quite the long one. With that I might rework the mmj ones cause those were so sloppy eughh but other than thst enjoy try

Chapter Text
"A Ball of Elegance begins, With the stare of prominent Greed for Wealth, One's holy purpose would only be covered in the ripe Golds of Luxury, only until they remain whole."
"..."
...
A choice was made and so he took it. To be infected with the pride of the world in his hands. Those little hands that held so much pressure.
To be surrounded by the riches of the world but that empty feeling of longing to remain. To live in such fate of a cruel universe is so vile.
But to be vulnerable in the body that he claims as his, is a skill some never learned. To be blessed with a gift so profound could be a message from the universe.
"Aoyagi"
Those passionate grey eyes belong to the child of guilt. Eyes in a path to pursue something which is despised.
The sound of soft breathing and a crowd of hollow lies stands in front of him. Looking out to please the one he calls the mastermind.
A gentle touch to the shoulder to soothe his pains and cries. To let him know that he is not alone anymore and rep mandala with pride.
"Toya."
A name to never wish spite or harm against, but a name to be valued and honored.
Not only for the world, but for himself.
"Live for the new ideals of what your world should look like. Forget the shadows and pressure and shift into a new identity. Reckon with the pleas of the rich. So that when your time comes I can guarantee you have done well."
...
"So I was saying-"
The door to the cafe chimed as the two-toned boy walked in. 2 familiar faces came into view.
"Toya!"
"Could you be any louder..?"
"Shut up, Akito!"
Akito rolled his eyes and the other companion stuck out her tongue to mock him back.
"Hello, Shiraishi and Akito."
His voice was very calming, putting an end to their bickering for now. Not like the peace was going to last long anyways.
He scanned the room for a particular blonde haired girl but she wasn't here.
"Has Azusawa come in yet?"
"Er... I'm like 99% percent sure she said she would be late."
"What about the 1% idiot?"
"Well obviously the 1% is my uncertainty, my dear Akito."
"Big word for someone who failed their English test today."
The word fail caught Toya's attention really quickly and her face shifted to one of fear and slight annoyance.
"W-what?? Me? Fail.. no... heh."
"You failed?"
Then the darkness engulfed the room.
"Hello."
A distorted voice played in his head, it was uncomfortably loud just like thunder. But it was sweet and delicate like a warmth he never knew existed.
"What's going on...?"
His eyes scanned the room of darkness that held pink streaks painted inside. When a small turtle appeared in front of him.
It was quite luxurious, it was made out of gold and shimmer and covered in gems he had never even seen before.
"What's a turtle doing here..?"
He bent down to look at the animal that looked at him as if it was observing him.
"Beep beep, message from Luka."
"Hmm? Like Goddess Luka?"
Toya's face didn't turn confused like most would if anything it was leaning to more turns of shock.
"Reading message..... loading..."
Toya picked up the turtle and waited for the message to play. While waiting he took in his surroundings more.
It wasn't just a dark room with pink tinted streaks. He saw a somewhat pinkish purple symbol of a dog in one corner of the room. The symbol glowed too with a door underneath it as well.
In fact there were two more doors as well with two more symbols but they looked lifeless.
"Message loaded."
"Oh?"
"Riches and prosperity could falter at your hands, but what good is it if not shared? Hold the universe in your hands and spread the warmth of your emotions to the people of the land. A feeling that was always yours and mine shall reunite in a timeline."
...
Hands.
It was the first thing he saw and honestly he's glad cause everything looked just about disfigured.
"Aoyagi-kun!"
The voice sounded like it was muffled but still it brought him comfort to know that someone was at least there.
Then the coughing came and he felt like a weight was being pressed on his chest.
"Breathe man!"
"WELL OBVIOUSLY HE CAN'T!"
"THEN I DON'T KNOW? DON'T BREATHE!"
"WHY WOULD YOU WANT HIM TO STOP BREATHING?"
"I'M PANICKING CUT ME SOME SLACK!"
"Q-quit it you t-two..."
The chatter died down as he tried to get up slowly with the support of a figure behind him.
"Aoyagi-kun, are you okay?"
"Yea.. thanks Azusawa."
All three faces were twisted into concern and confusion. I mean it's not normal to see your friend randomly have the wind knocked out of him and then back into him.
Kohane's voice was so squeaky and worried Toya couldn't help feeling like maybe whatever happened to him was an overreaction.
"Let's get you to sit down ok?"
He was guided to a nearby table and sat on the chair and he didn't even notice that An's presence was gone until a cup of water was placed in front of him.
"Drink it, maybe it'll help."
Toya gracefully accepted that and drank that water so fast it was like it was the last thing he ever drunken.
"What happened Toya?"
His eyes looked up to meet green ones that were filled with genuine concern but it still tried to act tough.
"I-I don't know.."
Should he tell them about what he heard? Or better yet what he saw? Would they believe him?
Just as he was going to open his mouth a pink glint seemed to come from the forest. Not a surprise though.
After all, it was Serpentine Falls.
...
"Sneaking out isn't exactly your style man.."
Akito said with an awkward face as he looked at Toya's carelessly made outfit. Who wears white going into a forest? but yet, who wears white in the forest and goes to a do not enter zone..?
“I grabbed whatever I saw first. Sorry.”
"Yea.. An should be here any minute."
"YAHOO!"
Akito groaned at the loud noise piercing his ears as a certain dark-haired girl ran up behind him.
"Remind me to never rob a bank with you."
"That was less louder than my normal greeting!"
"Yea sure.."
Akito rolled his eyes as he drifted it to the forest that stood in front of him.
"Ready to catch some ghost?"
"G-GHOST?"
An shrieked and her face went pale at the mention of the horrifying spirit.
"Don't worry we aren't ghost hunting. Just exploring."
Akito giggles as he embarked into the forest making ghost sounds which An moaned and groaned in protest.
Toya didn't know what he expected from this forest but it felt right to be here. There was something he needed to find and maybe it'll be okay.
As the 3 disappeared in the forest leaving anyone's sight of line. Mostly An and Akito were talking and Toya was basically a lingering presence behind them but soon enough they came across a building.
Not just any building but a temple.
"What's a temple doing here?"
"I don't- Toya!?"
Toya didn't hear the pleas of his friends as he entered the intoxicating temple. Pounding could be heard outside on the big large fish designed.
"Hi there."
"H-Hi..?"
"Welcome to your residence."
"Residence?"
"The temple of the universe!"
"U-universe?"
"You've been claimed, handsome."
The realization finally dawned on Toya as he turned his head to the doors he rushed through. The pounding stopped and incoherent chatter went on.
"Come let's get you claimed, though I must say not the best process."
"What do you mean- oh."
Toya followed the woman until he saw a lake filled with water that looked warm enough. Still quite embarrassing to know what came next.
"You're rather reluctant, no?"
Toya ignored the comment and proceeded to step into the water bare. At least he was right about it being warm
A warm glow of a dark blue planted itself on his shoulder, as he felt a figure loom over him.
"Repeat after me okay?"
"Okay."
"I shall follow the path of Luka."
"I shall follow the path of Luka."
"And let all my powers flow within me."
"And let all my powers flow within me."
"The ideals of Elegance, Gold, and Luxury shall become one with me."
"The ideals of Elegance, Gold, and Luxury shall become one with me."
"For I, Toya Aoyagi."
"For I, Toya Aoyagi."
"Accept this fate."
"Accept this fate."
The water around him became warmer than ever. It was so comforting he almost never wanted to leave.
"Happy Ascension Day, Toya Aoyagi."
