daft pretty boy

Summary:

“Feel the rain on your skin! No one else can feel it for you!” Mabel sang as her arms stretched out towards the open sky.

“You’re gonna get yourself blown away, Mabes!” Ethan teased, but his expression was soft with admiration as his free hand held on her waist so she wouldn’t fall.

Dipper, however, was silent. From the backseat, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. The light of the pink sunset in the horizon bathed her in its hues. The way her laughter mingled with the music, the wind, the waves—she was mesmerizing. And for a moment? Dipper forgot where he was. Or that his own girlfriend sitting next to him even existed.

---

When Mabel’s boyfriend, Ethan, invites the Pines family to his family’s beach house in Malibu to celebrate his sister’s birthday, it disrupted the twins’ 'summer plans'. What started as relighting the spark of a purely physical relationship between the twins begins to shift as the vacation week unfolds.

The tension lingering in the air while being in close proximity to their family and partners forces them to confront deeper feelings they’ve long been in denial of. As new emotions arise from beneath the surface, the vacation becomes a complicated test of loyalty.

The warm sunlight streaming through the window of their Bay Area house cast a golden glow over the twins' room, illuminating the room where they had spent countless hours sharing secrets, laughter, and tears. The walls, once adorned with posters and photographs, now stood bare from decluttering and organizing their space. The floor, once cluttered with piles of clothes and dusty trinkets, was now clear, except for a few stray boxes and bags that still needed to be sorted through.

Within the chaos of their room, the twins were engaged in the arduous task of clearing out any remnants of the previous semester. The summer break had finally arrived, and with it, a sense of freedom and possibility. They had spent the morning sorting through their clothes, packing away the winter wear and pulling out the shorts and t-shirts that would see them through the long, sun-kissed days of summer. They had also cleaned out their desks, sorting through piles of notes and textbooks, and recycling the papers that were no longer needed.

As they worked, they chatted and laughed, their conversation flowing easily as they discussed everything from their current favorite Netflix shows to their plans for the summer. But as the morning wore on, their talk turned more serious, and they began to delve into the more personal aspects of their lives. The twins sat on their own beds facing each other as Mabel went on and on about a certain art project she had when a thought suddenly interrupted her.

“Oh yeah! How's things going with Vivienne? Still going strong?"

Dipper's face broke into a warm smile, and he leaned back against the headboard, his eyes taking on a faraway look. "Yeah, it's good. We've had our ups and downs, but we're working through it. She's...intense, you know? But I like that about her."

Mabel nodded, her expression thoughtful. "I can see that. You two are like complete opposites and yet somehow it works for you! Though I must say, her RBF kinda scares me."

Dipper rolled his eyes at the comment. He gets that a lot. But in reality, Vivienne was a sweetheart especially to him. She just wasn’t that good at expressing emotions, with only a gentle grin on her face being the most ‘emotional’ Vivienne has ever been in a while.

“So, how about you and Ethan? How's that going?" Dipper asked curiously.

Mabel's face lit up with a soft smile, and she leaned forward, her elbows resting on her knees. "It's good. He's really sweet, and we have a lot of fun together. But sometimes I feel like the bed chem’s lackin a lil’, you know? Like, we're not really connecting on a deeper level."

Dipper's expression turned serious, his eyes narrowing as he listened intently. "Bed chem? What do you mean?"

“I meant,” Mabel started as she let out a groan, “He isn’t that good with his hands like you are, Dip.”

Dipper snorted at the compliment, “Well, that’s one way to ‘stroke’ my ego.”

Mabel flushed furiously at the casual dirty joke her brother let out as she threw a pillow from her bed to the other side of the room – to which of course, he easily dodged from years of reflexes.

"OKAY, SORRY! I'm just trying to understand,” Dipper set the pillow aside, “But seriously. Do you think that's why it's not working with Ethan? Because he doesn’t know your body well enough?"

Mabel's face was still flushed. With another pillow, she had buried her crimson red face into it out of embarrassment. Eventually, she looked up and her eyes met his concerned ones. Realising she had no way of escaping this conversation, she sighed in defeat.

"Okay, fine.” Mabel rested a palm on her chin, “With Ethan, it's just… not the same. He's not as attentive, I guess. He doesn't really know how to make me feel good, and it's just– It's frustrating, you know?" Dipper's expression turned serious, and he nodded slowly, as if he understood exactly what Mabel was talking about.

"I'm sorry, Mabes. I had no idea. Sometimes doing it with Vivienne feels the same for me too, you know?” Dipper confessed before continuing, “Maybe we don't have that same connection with our own partners because they didn’t have same chemistry like us?"

Mabel's eyes locked onto Dipper's, and a hint of a smile played on her lips.

"Maybe," she whispered. "Maybe we just had something special, Dip. Something that we can't replicate with anyone else." Dipper's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief as he got up from his bed and walked over to hers.

Suddenly, Dipper leaned forward, his face inches from Mabel's. His gaze locked onto Mabel's with something that she hadn’t seen in his eyes for a while.

"Do you perhaps…” Dipper started, clearing his throat to surge up some confidence within himself, “wanna, you know, try it again? Just for old times' sake. See if anything's changed or improved?"

Mabel's eyes flashed with surprise, and she felt a spark of electricity run through her veins. She knew exactly what Dipper was hinting at, and a part of her was tempted – tempted to revisit the past, to recapture the thrill of their secret encounters.

But would this be considered as cheating? Mabel thought to herself cautiously. Sure, Ethan was going to be out of town for the week for a family reunion but that wasn’t an excuse for her to not be loyal.

And yet, the devil on her shoulder whispered to her to just give in. Just one time wouldn’t hurt, right? It’s just to find out if anything’s changed. They wouldn’t even have to go that far. Even a short makeout session was good enough to find out the developments.

Dipper's voice was barely above a whisper, his breath caressing Mabel's skin. "Just this time, Mabel. For old times' sake."

Mabel sighed in defeat. There was no turning back now.

“Alright,” She finally gave in, “Do your thang, Mr. Dippington.”

Mabel's heart skipped a beat as she felt Dipper's hand brush against hers, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gentle, tentative touch. She knew she should pull away, but her body seemed to have a mind of its own, her skin craving the familiar sensation of Dipper's touch.

She missed this.

It’s been a year since the twins officially stopped practising this little secret of theirs. They stopped the moment Mabel got herself a boyfriend and Dipper had been okay with it. It was, after all, a part of their ‘contract’ to stop all physical intimacy if either party got into a relationship.

But a year without physical intimacy with each other had changed quite a few things. First, Dipper noticed that Mabel’s breasts had grown slightly larger from the time they were apart. Why the hell did he even notice that? He had no idea. Maybe it had to do with Mabel’s sudden switch to wearing low-cut sundresses whenever she went on dates with Ethan.

Mabel noticed changes in Dipper too. Maybe it’s got to do with dating a smoking-hot gym chick with a clean fashion sense – but Dipper’s personal hygiene got a lot better. His wardrobe of the same, old, boring clothes that he barely washed was finally revamped with newer, more stylish clothes. Hell, he even bothered to start combing his hair lately. And honestly? Even though he’s been good looking, the hygiene made him look much more attractive to Mabel now.

As they sat there, frozen in a moment of mutual desire, Dipper's eyes never left Mabel's. His gaze was burning with a deep intensity. His hands had crept up underneath her purple shirt, travelling its way to find the clip of her bra. Mabel's lips parted, her breath catching in her throat as Dipper's face drew closer, his mouth inches from hers. It was as if the entire world had melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a moment of pure, unadulterated desire.

Just as their lips were about to touch – a loud voice pierced the air, stopping the twins from continuing.

"Mabel, Ethan's here!" their mother called from the staircase, her voice echoing through the hallway.

Mabel's eyes flew open, her body jolting back to reality as she felt a surge of panic. She fumbled for her phone, her hands shaking as she scrolled through the string of text messages from Ethan that she had ignored.

Her eyes widened as she read the messages, her face growing hot with embarrassment. "Crap, nononono! What? I thought he’s hit the road already!" she panickingly muttered while adjusting back her bra that Dipper had unclipped earlier.

Dipper's face fell, his eyes clouding over with disappointment as he pulled away, his hand releasing Mabel's. "Just go and see him, Mabes. He’s already waiting." he whispered with casual voice, his eyes completely avoiding Mabel's.

Mabel scrambled to her feet, her phone still clutched in her hand as she smoothed out her clothes. She felt like she was going to be sick. Her stomach churned with anxiety as she realized she had to face Ethan knowing exactly what she’s done. Or at least she had almost done. How the hell was she going to pretend like everything was normal after that?

As she turned to leave, she caught Dipper's eye with a fleeting moment of connection that lingered, waiting to be acknowledged. They knew they would have to talk about this later.

But for now, Mabel had to push it aside, to put on a mask of normalcy as she went to face her boyfriend, to pretend like she wasn't still reeling from the almost-kiss with her twin brother.

Mabel made her way downstairs, her heart still racing from what had happened earlier. As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she saw Ethan sitting in the living room, chatting with her parents over glasses of chilled lemonade. He looked up and caught her eye, flashing her a bright smile.

"Hey, babe! Come join us," he said, patting the couch beside him. Mabel forced a smile and walked over to join them, trying to shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in her stomach.

Just as she sat down, Dipper appeared at the bottom of the stairs, looking casual and relaxed. He walked over to the group, dropping down into the armchair beside the couch.

Ethan turned to the family, his eyes shining with excitement. "So, I was thinking, my little sister Evelyn's birthday is coming up, and we're having a big party at our beach house in Malibu. I was wondering if you all would like to come?"

Mrs. Pines looked at her husband and then back at Ethan with glistening eyes. "That sounds like a lot of wonderful! We'd love to come. What's the plan?"

Ethan’s face lit up with grin. "Well, we were thinking of spending a few nights there. We've got a big house, plenty of guest rooms for everyone. There’s gonna be campfires, surfing and– Oh! A yacht party, so make sure to pack some suits and gowns!”

“I really want Mabel to meet my parents, so it would be great if you all could come." Ethan continued.

Ethan then turned to Dipper, “Perhaps you could bring Vivienne too? Wouldn’t want to be a third-wheel now, would you?”

“Oh. Um, sure. I’ll ask her.” Dipper replied, pulling out his phone to text his girlfriend about the invitation.

Mabel's parents exchanged a look, and then Mrs. Pines spoke up. "Well, we as a family certainly don’t have any vacation plans for the summer, so this could be a fun trip! When were you thinking of leaving?"

"Well, I’m driving off right now, actually,” Ethan rubbed the back of his neck, “If you leave at this hour, you’d probably be able to reach there by sunset. Oh! And don’t worry about packing essentials, my family’s got it covered for you.”

“Well, it’s a plan then!” Mr. Pines chuckled, “Kids, start packing. We’re leaving as soon as possible!”

Mabel felt a surge of panic at the suggestion. She had been looking forward to spending some quality time with Dipper, and now it seemed like that was being taken away from her. She glanced over at Dipper, who was sitting silently, his eyes still fixed on his phone and grinning at a message that Vivienne had sent him.

Neither of them said anything. The twins just sat in silence as Ethan continued to chat excitedly about the plans. Their parents were smiling and nodding, clearly enthusiastic about the idea.

As the conversation continued, Mabel couldn't help but feel a sense of unease so she got up and left to start packing her luggage. She had a feeling that this trip was going to be a lot more complicated than she had anticipated. And besides– She still needed to talk to Dipper about what had happened earlier.

Once in the room, Mabel let out a deep sigh and began to pack her bags, tossing in a few sundresses, some shorts, a swimsuit and a new evening gown she had bought a while back but haven’t had the chance to try on yet. As she folded a skirt, she couldn't help but think about that moment she had with Dipper earlier. She had been looking forward to spending some ‘quality time’ with him, and now it seemed like that was being taken away from her.

Just as she was about to pack her toiletries, Dipper walked into the room, his phone pressed to his ear. He was engaged in a conversation with Vivienne, and Mabel could tell by the tone of his voice that he was trying to reassure her about something.

"Yeah, I know, it's last minute, but Ethan's really excited about it... Okay, okay, I'll make sure to bring along that comic series you wanted to read. Yeah, I love you too, bye." Dipper said, his voice trailing off as he listened to Vivienne's response.

Mabel rolled her eyes good-naturedly and continued packing, trying not to listen in on the conversation. When Dipper finally hung up the phone, he turned to her and said, "Hey, sorry about that. Vivienne's a bit anxious about the trip."

Mabel nodded, trying to sound casual. "Yeah, no worries. Oh, and uhm, about earlier..."

Dipper's expression turned guarded, and he held up a hand. "Maybe now's not the time, Mabel. We need to focus on packing and getting ready to go. Mom already said that we can’t delay, and you know how particular she is about time."

Mabel felt a pang of disappointment, but she tried not to push the issue. "Yeah, okay. You're right. Let's just get packed and get going."

Dipper nodded, and together they continued packing their bags in silence.

Mabel couldn't help but wonder what would happen when they got to Malibu. Would they be able to pick up where they left off, or would the presence of Ethan and Vivienne make things too complicated?

As they finished packing, Dipper stood up and stretched, his eyes meeting Mabel's. For a moment, they just looked at each other. Not a single word was exchanged. Then, Dipper turned and walked out of the room, leaving Mabel to wonder what was going on in his mind that very moment.

As they loaded the last of the suitcases into the car, it became apparent that there was a problem. The luggage took up an extra seat in the back, leaving only three seats available for the four of them. Mrs. Pines, who was busy checking the trunk, noticed the issue and exchanged a concerned glance.

"Honey, I think we have a bit of a problem here," Mrs. Pines said, turning to her husband. "With all the luggage, there's not enough room for everyone to have their own seat. Would it be alright if Mabel sat on Dipper's lap for the rest of the trip? We can try to find a solution later, but we're running a bit behind schedule."

Mabel's eyes widened, and she felt her face grow hot as she met Dipper's gaze. An hour ago, they were just inches away from each other’s lips and body – something that had left them both flustered and unsure of how to act around each other. The thought of sitting on his lap in such close proximity made her feel anxious and self-conscious.

Dipper's expression was equally uneasy, his eyes darting back and forth as if searching for an escape. But their parents were waiting for an answer, and Mabel knew they couldn't delay any longer. She took a deep breath and nodded silently, trying to play it cool despite the hurricane of nervousness growing inside her.

Without a word, Mabel climbed into the back seat and sat down on Dipper's lap, trying to get comfortable as he hesitantly wrapped his arms around her to hold her in place. The silence between them was evident and Mabel could feel the tension radiating from Dipper's body as they settled in for the long drive ahead. As the car pulled out of the driveway, Mabel closed her eyes and tried to focus on the road, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something would go wrong very soon.

The first half of the trip had been rather awkward, with both of them staying silent for most of the trip besides exchanging snacks that they had stuffed into a random tote bag in the backseat. However, there was still that burning dilemma inside Mabel’s mind. How was she going to confront her brother about earlier? The whole trip was more than 5 hours long, not inclusive of pitstops.

Heck, with Ethan around, would she even have time to have a proper private conversation with her brother? When all eyes and attention are gonna be on her?

Hours had passed and the road began to get a little bumpy, and their parents had warned them earlier to hold on tight.

"It's going to be a bit of a rough ride for the next few miles," their dad said, "but after this, we'll take a pit stop at a nearby gas station and figure out a solution to our luggage problem. Mom will take the wheel and we'll be smooth sailing from there."

Mabel and Dipper exchanged a short glance, and Mabel shifted slightly on Dipper's lap, trying to get comfortable. But as the car hit a particularly rough patch of road, Mabel's body was jostled forward, and she accidentally ground her hips against Dipper's crotch. The latter’s eyes widened, and he let out a stifled moan, trying to hide his reaction.

"Mabel, stay still," Dipper hissed, his voice low with warning.

"I'm trying, okay?" Mabel shot back. "It's not my fault the road’s bumpy."

But as the car hit another bump, Mabel's body was jostled forward again, and she ground against his crotch once more. Dipper's face twisted in discomfort, and he let out another stifled moan.

"You're doing that on purpose, aren't you?" Dipper accused, a tint of annoyance in his voice. "You're trying to get back at me for not continuing where we left off earlier."

Mabel's eyes flashed with offense, and she whispered back, "You think that was on purpose? I'll show you what's really on purpose!"

With that, Mabel began to purposely grind against Dipper's crotch, her movements subtle but deliberate so as not to catch their parents’ attention in the rearview mirror. Dipper's eyes went wide, and he tried to shift away from her, but Mabel was relentless. She continued to grind against him, her face set in a determined expression, as the car bounced and jostled along the rough road.

Dipper's face was red with discomfort, but Mabel just kept going, her movements becoming more and more deliberate. A part of him wanted to yell at her to stop before his voice betrays him, and another part of him reminded him that he had to hold onto his sister so she wouldn’t fall forward.

When the hell is the road gonna start being smooth? It was beginning to feel like eternity. His cock was getting harder every minute and Dipper swore he could feel his precum leaking through his boxers already.

‘God, make the pitstop already. Any longer and I’m gonna–’

“Alright, we’re here! Just gonna grab a few snacks and some cigs for your dad. We’ll be right back,” Mrs. Pines announced.

As their parents got out of the car to grab something from the gas station, Mabel settled herself onto the car’s armrest box, her expression innocent with a small smile playing on her lips. But Dipper's eyes were blazing with anger and discomfort, and he shot her a furious glance, his chest heaving with suppressed emotion.

"You're not going anywhere, Mabes," Dipper demanded, his voice low and menacing as he rubbed at the obvious bulge. "Solve this. Right now."

Mabel raised an eyebrow, a hint of defiance in her voice. "And if I don't want to?"

Dipper's response was immediate. He grabbed her by the waist and flipped her around, making her face the dashboard. He lifted her tennis skirt up, revealing a pair of white panties – to which he proceeded to rub his fingers against her clothed folds. Mabel let out a stifled moan as Dipper's eyes gleamed with triumph.

"Nah, I think you want to," Dipper teased, pulling her panties down. "You're sopping wet."

Mabel's face went red with anger and embarrassment. "Are you insane?! Mom and dad will be back any moment now and– Mmf-! F-Fuck..."

But Dipper just interrupted her, penetrating her with a swift thrust. Mabel's eyes went wide as he held onto her breasts underneath her thin yellow tropical camisole, using them for support as he roughly thrusted into her from the back.

"Dad's a heavy smoker," Dipper whispered, his hot breath against her ear. "He'll take 15 minutes to be done. Mom won't come back without him. We'll be done, Mabes. Trust me."

Mabel's mind was a whirlwind of emotions as Dipper's thrusts sent waves of pleasure through her body. A part of her felt like she was betraying Ethan by doing this with her brother. But another part of her couldn't deny the familiarity and comfort of Dipper's touch. It was like no time had passed at all, and they were back to their old selves, exploring each other's bodies without care for the world. The only difference was that now, they were in the proximity of their parents’ car with the highest risk of being caught by their parents any moment now.

‘But honestly… it was kinda hot.’ Mabel thought.

As Dipper licked her neck and ears, Mabel felt herself getting lost in the sensation. She couldn't believe she was doing this, but at the same time, she couldn't stop. The roughness in Dipper's thrusts, the strength in his grip around her breasts... it was all so familiar, so comforting.

For a moment, Mabel forgot about Ethan, forgot about their parents, and forgot about everything except the feeling of her brother’s thick cock inside her. She let out a moan, her voice barely audible, as Dipper's thrusts sent her spiraling into a world of pleasure.

But as the reality of their situation began to sink in, Mabel's mind started to wander back to the consequences of their actions. She would have to face Ethan and his family later, pretending like nothing had happened. It was a daunting task, but for now, she just let herself get lost in the moment, in the feeling of Dipper's body against hers.

Mabel gripped onto the front passenger seat for support as she in return ground her own hips, feeling bad that her brother had been doing all the work the whole time. Sure, the windows of the car were tinted, but the sight of random strangers walking past and driving past their parents' car was only turning Mabel on even more. She couldn’t help but think that perhaps she was beginning to have some sort of exhibitionism kink.

As she turned her head to steal a glance at her brother, she let out a grin at the sight of Dipper slowly sliding down his seat with his mouth agape, heavily moaning and palms gripping harshly onto her ass, guiding her every thrust to the base of his cock. Just from that look on his face, she knew he was gonna cum soon.

Dipper groaned, "Holy shit, Mabes. I-I'm fucking close..." His hands flailed around trying to search for a tissue or a cloth of any kind that he could finish into, but couldn't. In a panicked state, he urged Mabel, "Mabes, shit, there's no tissues. Can I-?"

Mabel, whose hips only continued to rock faster against his cock as she felt her own high approaching, answered in staggered moans, "T-Today’s not safe! Just- You can... just... cum in my mouth… Ah, Dip! I’m cumming—!" As soon as she came, with a swift pull out, Mabel frantically reached down and took her brother’s full length into her mouth, hitting the base of his cock and making sure not to spill any of his cum.

Dipper gripped onto her hair tightly as he spilled all his warm seed into her throat. And shit, was it a lot. Dipper watched as his sister slowly pulled away from his cock and swallowed all his load, wiping the corners of her mouth just in case she missed any. The older twin sat back onto his lap and immediately crashed her lips onto his out of instinct, just like they always have done so in the past. After the brief make-out session, the twins stayed in that position for a while in silence as they tried to catch their breath.

In the middle of heavy breaths, Dipper chuckled, "Whoa, Mabes. You've still got it. That was– SHIT! MOM AND DAD'S COMING BACK!" He rushingly put his sweatpants back on before helping Mabel with her panties.

"Hey kids, got you some ice cream just in case it's been too hot in the car without the AC on- Oh wow, y'all look like you definitely need some." Mr. Pines hopped into the passenger seat and passed them their ice cream.

Mabel chuckled nervously, "Ahaha! Yeah! It was hot in here, thanks dad!" Dipper nodded in agreement and simply gave his dad a thumbs up. With that, their parents left the car once more to open the trunk and solve their luggage issue.

Dipper let out a sigh as he unraveled the ice cream packaging, "That was a close one."

Mabel rolled her eyes as she lightly punched her brother, "It wasn’t just ‘a close one’, that was pushing it! What if we got caught because someone decided to spill his own ‘ice cream’ in my mouth?!"

He shrugged, casually licking at his cone, "Well you let me. It was either that or I jizzed onto our clothes."

Mabel hit Dipper's arm with her fist once more, whispering slightly louder than before, "That's not the point! The point is, it is way too risky to continue what we used to do together. What if mom and dad find out? What excuse do we give them?"

Dipper chuckled, "They won't find out, Mabes. We're good. Besides, it's not like we haven't done this before. We're pros at sneaking around."

Mabel raised an eyebrow, "Pros at sneaking around? You mean pros at being irresponsible?"

The younger twin grinned as he whispered back, "Hey, that's not fair. We're just... creatively expressing ourselves. And besides, it's not like we're hurting anyone."

We are. We’re hurting our own partners with this affair of ours. What would Ethan say about this? Heck, what if Vivienne were to find out?

Mabel sighed, "You're not taking this seriously, Dipper. We could get in so much trouble if mom and dad find out. And what about Ethan? I'm supposed to be his girlfriend, not... not doing this with my brother."

Dipper's expression turned serious, "I know, Mabes. And I'm sorry. I didn't mean to put you in a tough spot. But... I don't know, it just feels so natural with us. Did I… go too far?”

Mabel looked at Dipper, her eyes searching for answers. She knew that what they were doing was wrong, but at the same time, she couldn't deny the connection they shared.

If they were going to be staying in close proximity to each other for the next few days at her boyfriend’s house, none of this could ever continue. Ever again. It was just too risky, they needed to be apart and boundaries needed to be set.

Suddenly, the luggage that took up the other side of the backseat got pulled away and Mr. Pines lifted the seat back up, “There we go! Mabel, you can get off your brother’s lap now.”

With a nod, she swiftly got off Dipper’s lap and sat down on the empty seat – leaving a rather large gap in between her and her brother which left the latter confused. What more, Mabel had decided to turn her head away and stared out the window instead of looking or saying anything to him.

‘She didn’t even answer my question,’ Dipper thought.

As he looked at the gap between them, Dipper couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. It was as if Mabel was trying to erase what had happened between them, to pretend like it never existed. But it did exist, and Dipper couldn't just forget about it. He couldn't forget about the way Mabel's body felt against his, the way she moaned his name, the way she…

Dipper's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his dad's voice, chatting away about something mundane as the car engine rumbled, getting ready to continue their journey to Malibu. But Dipper wasn't listening. He was too caught up in his own thoughts, trying to process the mix of emotions swirling inside him.

Why was Mabel pulling away from him? Had he really gone too far? Was she ashamed? Did she regret it? Dipper's mind was filled with questions, but he had no answers. All he knew was that he felt... lost. Lost and confused, with no idea of how to navigate any of his thoughts and feelings.

He’ll just have to talk it out with her later on.
