Sugar and Vice

Summary:

Alastor is a 34-year-old single parent desperate to find a way to make ends-meet. Vox is a 23-year-old multi-millionaire with too much money and time on his hands.

Notes:

Inspired by a random internet prompt I held on to: "Person A, an annoying 23-year-old with a shit ton of money from a successful app he created in college. He’s bored and looking for a sugar baby. Peron B, a 34-year-old single dad with crippling medical debt and a soul crushing job."

In other words, the Sugar Daddy Vox, Sugar Baby Alastor story no one asked for.

Story is complete!

Chapter 1: M Seeking M For Fun Time

Chapter Text

“Dad?” Niffty called as she stepped into the living room, rubbing her eyes. “Why are you still up?”

“Just going over some paperwork,” Alastor answered his daughter. “Go back to bed, Bug.”

“Will you tuck me in again?”

He smiled. “Of course, dear. I’ll be right there.” His daughter turned and went back to her room. Alastor sighed as he looked down at the paper once more. At least his daughter was home now and out of the hospital, that was all that mattered. He just didn’t know how he was going to pay for it.

Vox sat back against the sofa after snorting a line of coke. He closed his eyes and begged for the drugs to kick in sooner rather than later. Val had made sure to get him premium stuff, but nothing was doing it for him anymore. He sat forward. “Maybe I should get a dog,” he said out of the blue.

Val looked over at him as he took a drag on his rolled marijuana. “Why?”

“I need something, man. And this shit just ain’t doing it for me.”

He chuckled. “You gotta give it time to kick in, bro. I promise, you’ll like this stuff.”

Vox sighed as he sat back once more. “Maybe a show dog,” he mused to himself. “Something really pretty.” He paused. “Or maybe like a rescue dog! Like, something to take care of.”

Val laughed. “God! Vox, just shut up and let the drugs do their thing! You talk way too much,” he teased.

Vox grew quiet. There was SOMETHING missing in his life, he just didn’t know what it was, but there was a void he’d felt for some time now and he needed to fill it or he was going to go insane.

***

Alastor still wasn’t sure how he’d gotten himself into this. He web-searched ‘how to make money quickly’ and one of the top results was being a sugar baby; he didn’t even know what it was. “Yeah, I could see you doing it,” his best friend, Lucifer, commented when they talked about it. “I mean, you’re good looking and so long as you know what you’re doing in bed, not much of anyone is gonna complain.”

“So, prostitution, essentially,” Alastor commented as he took a drink of his whiskey.

Lucifer shrugged. “Basically, yeah, but so what. It’s technically legal because ‘what two consenting adults choose to do is between them’; the law is really loose on the what is considered ‘prostitution’.”

Alastor sighed. “I’m not that kind of person, Luce.”

Lucifer took a drink from his beer. “Look, most of these guys are just looking for a hole to stick their dick into. It’s not like you’re really gonna have to do much.”

“You are so crass, you know that.”

He chuckled. “Just being straight with you.”

This made Alastor chuckle. “Which is something you’ve never been.”

Lucifer laughed. “You’re not wrong.” He paused. “I’ve told you before, we can always try an Only Fans together, but YOU keep turning it down. Hell, even Lilith is on board with it!”

“You and your wife have a very strange relationship,” he retorted.

After talking it over with him for several hours, Alastor finally decided to attempt the whole sugar baby thing. He wasn’t surprised that it was mostly older men looking for beautiful young women, but after a little research, he finally found his way to a website geared toward sugar daddies looking for male sugar babies. His heart beat with nerves as he scrolled through the website. This was insane! This wasn’t the kind of guy he was.

He clicked on a few profiles to check them out, but nothing really stuck out to him. They were mostly good-looking guys, but nothing really separated any of them from the next. Until he came across one by the name of Vox. He was young, VERY young compared to most of them on the site. He was traditionally handsome, like the rest of them, but he had a genuine smile that Alastor was drawn to. He was fair-skinned and had thick black hair that was trimmed just passed his ears. He was quite handsome. Alastor clicked on his profile and skimmed it.

Vox had a video, which wasn’t something most of the others had. This piqued his interest more. He played it. Vox sat in a clean, nice looking living room on a simple blue sofa. He smiled at the camera. “Hey, my name is Vox. I’m twenty-three and I’m looking for someone to spend time with. I have an eclectic taste in activities, from hiking to playing video games. Just looking for a guy to chill with and enjoy my time with. And believe me when I say I’ll make it worth your while.’ He winked at the camera and the video ended.

Alastor felt himself stir. He didn’t typically find any interest in people sexually, but this man was striking. He was also drawn to him because he was so different from the rest of the men on there. So many of them were obviously closeted gay men looking for someone to pay hush money to so their wives wouldn’t find out about their secret lifestyle. But this guy, Vox, was open about who and what he was and he knew what he wanted. Alastor took a deep breath to steel his resolve before sending a message.

They arranged a meeting at a bar. Vox hoped something like a bar would feel casual and be more comfortable for a first-time meeting. Even still, he was nervous. He’d never done anything like this before. Sure, he’d been on Grinder and other dating apps, but he’d never PAID someone for their company before. He took several deep breaths as he sat at the bar and waited.

Alastor stepped into the bar after showing his ID to the bouncer at the front. This wasn’t his kind of scene. He hadn’t been out to a bar or a club since his college days. He and Lucifer got into some wild trouble back in their days, but those days were long behind him now, especially after he became a dad. Niffty was his pride and joy. He was still surprised it had even happened, but when he found out about her, he made her his priority. He’d met Rosie at some kind of mixer at school. Alastor was still figuring out who he was in a lot of ways and, if he was completely honest, he was a little envious of all the time his best friend was now spending with his new girlfriend.

He liked Lilith. She was sweet and she made Lucifer happy, but Alastor was now a third wheel and he hated that feeling. Rosie was a freshman when they were juniors. She was happy and had a delightful southern drawl he found endearing. It wasn’t thick, just there enough to be able to pinpoint where she’d grown up. Alastor quite liked the sound of her voice and found himself in a quiet corner at a party with her just listening to the stories she had of her simple southern upbringing.

They found themselves together more often than not. He still wasn’t sure how he felt about the opposite sex, so when he and Rosie got to a point in their relationship where sex was on the table, he jumped at the offer. He could still remember the next morning vividly. Both of them lying in bed awkwardly, obviously avoiding touching one another. “So…” Rosie began, “that was nice.”

“Yeah, yeah, it was.”

She looked over at him and smiled. “First time with a woman?”

He refused to looked at her. “First time at all,” he admitted.

“Nothing to be ashamed of, everyone has to have a first time with things.” She paused. “You’re not into girls, are ya?”

He sighed. “I suppose not.” He turned to her. “I really like you, Rosie-”

“Don’t even worry about it, Alastor,” she assured him. “I like you too! I’m glad I could help you figure things out for yourself.” She pulled him into her arms and held him close. “So long as we can still be friends, everything is a-okay.”

Alastor smiled as he put his arms around her in return. “I’d like that very much.”

He was more than present when he found out she was pregnant. He was going to be the best father in the world. Rosie seemed happy too, but once Niffty was born, she dropped her off with Alastor and never returned. Alastor had no choice but to step up to being the dad he said he was going to be. It helped that Lucifer and Lilith had their daughter, Charlie, not long after. He knew he’d never have made it as a dad if it weren’t for their support.

He pushed those thoughts away as he walked into the bar and scanned the room for Vox. He shouldn’t be difficult to find; he was a very unique looking young man. Thinking about how much younger he was almost made him turn around and leave, until he caught sight of him. He was sitting at the bar, dressed in black slacks and a navy-blue turtle neck sweater. Alastor took a deep breath and made his way to the bar.

“You must be Vox,” he stated as he stepped closer.

Vox turned to him as though he’d been pulled away from a deep thought. Once his brain caught up with the fact that he was looking at Alastor in the flesh, he offered him a smile. “Hi. Yeah, Vox. So, you must be Alastor then.” He extended his hand to him. “It’s really nice to meet you.”

Alastor offered a weak smile in return as he accepted the handshake. “Pleasure.”

“What’re you drinking?” he asked as Alastor took the seat next to him.

“Oh, uh, just a beer would be fine. Thank you.”

Vox caught the bartender’s attention and ordered two beers. They both sat there in an awkward silence, taking a drink, neither of them really knowing how to proceed. Vox set his bottle down on the coaster. “So, what do ya like to do for fun?”

Alastor froze. He could keep his life away from him or be up front and honest about it. There were pros and cons to either one. “If I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my daughter.”

Now it was Vox’s turn to freeze suddenly. He hadn’t expected that. Did that complicate this? Should it matter if he had a kid? He knew he could let it be a deal breaker and move on to the next available match on the sugar app he was on, or he could let things play out and see where they went. Neither choice seemed right or wrong. “Oh, you’ve gotta kid. How old is she?”

Alastor stared at him in disbelief for a moment. Did he REALLY not care that he came with that kind of baggage or was he just being polite? He likely DIDN’T care because what he and Alastor were going to share was basically a legally contracted sexual relationship. What would he care about his baggage or his past? “She just turned twelve last month.”

He smiled. “That’s nice.” He paused. “So… Her mom-”

“Not a part of our lives,” Alastor answered quickly.

“Oh, good. I mean, I’m sorry. I, uh, that’s unfortunate. I think kids generally do better when they have both parents, but I’m sure you’re a great dad.” He felt like he was sticking his foot in his mouth and shoving it down further with every word. He WAS glad to know that there wasn’t a woman in Alastor’s life. There had been a handful of potential matches who had a wife or husband; this was an immediate red flag for him and an absolute deal breaker. He didn’t want to deal with that kind of baggage.

“Well, I certainly try,” he replied.

“She at home tonight?” he asked.

“Staying with a friend of mine,” Alastor answered. Part of him wondered if he was asking in hopes he might go home with Alastor that evening. He’d be lying to himself if he said that wasn’t part of the reason he’d asked Lucifer to babysit for him.

“Cool.” He took a swig of his beer. He didn’t know what he was doing. He’d never tried to pick up a sugar baby before, but it sounded fun and exciting and he needed something new in his life. “So, what kind of things do you do with your daughter?”

“We watch movies together a lot,” he answered. “She’s also started getting into theater lately. She likes to help with the costumes and things. She’s also started doing… Cosplay, I think is what they call it.”

Vox chuckled. “Yeah. It’s cosplay. Do you know what that is?”

He shook his head. “I haven’t the foggiest notion.”

“It means ‘costume play’. Basically, it’s just dressing up as characters from movies and tv shows.”

“Ah, that makes sense.”

“So, you cosplay with her?” he asked.

Alastor chuckled. “No, no, I would feel absolutely foolish.”

Vox smiled. “It’s actually a lot of fun. Maybe ask her about doing a daddy-daughter cosplay of some kind. I think you might enjoy it.”

He nodded. “I’ll think about it.”

“So, what kind of movies you guys like?”

“She’s always trying to get me to watch anime or super hero movies,” he answered with a smile. “So, in turn, I make her watch classics with me.”

“You seem like a classic movie kind of guy. You got a favorite?”

Alastor smiled. “I’m a big fan of Jimmy Stewart. Him and Bing Crosby both. Anything either of them did were always spectacular in my opinion.”

Vox grinned. “Well, we’ll have to watch something together sometime.”

Alastor glanced over at him. “Oh, so, you mean, you’d like to see each other again after this?”

“Yeah.” He paused. “Did YOU not want to?”

“No, no, I definitely do! I just…” He dropped his gaze and stared at the beer bottle in his hands. “I suppose I’m just a little surprised you want to. I felt almost certain you wouldn’t want to see me again. What with, me having a daughter and me being so much older than you.”

Vox reached over and grabbed his hand. “Hey, none of that bothers me.” Alastor looked up and met his eyes. Vox smiled at him as he continued, “I think you’re very attractive, Alastor. And I’ll be honest, I’m not exactly sure how these kinds of things are supposed to go, I’ve never done anything like this before.” He let go of his hand and slowly trailed his hand up his arm. “I’d like to get to know you better, in EVERY way. And believe me when I say, I’ll make it worth it.”

He rested his hand on the back of his head, weaving his long fingers into his hair and pulled him closer so he could hear him whisper, “You just keep me satisfied and I’ll make sure you and your little girl are taken care of. That sound good?”

Alastor could feel his heart beating harder and his breath coming in shorter. He swallowed hard and nodded. “Yeah, that… That sounds good.”

Vox grinned devilishly. “Good. Now, why don’t you finish that drink and then you take me back to your place?”

That was how Alastor found himself falling into bed with a twenty-three-year-old multi-millionaire. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around the other man as he laid in his bed moaning like a whore as he was fucked brainless. God! How long had it been since he’d last had someone else inside him?

Vox pulled away from his embrace and lifted one of his legs to try and hit him in just the right spot. Alastor grabbed at the sheets beneath him as the pleasure shot through his entire body. Vox continued to thrust into him hard and fast. “I’m not gonna stop until you come, baby,” he whispered in a breathy tone. It didn’t take him long; one more sharp thrust against his prostate and he was coming all over his stomach and up to his chest. Vox smiled. “That’s it, baby! Fuck! Yeah! I’m almost there! Tell Daddy how good he’s made you feel.”

Alastor was still trying to catch his breath. “You feel… So good,” he managed to breathe out. He was exhausted and with Vox still fucking into him and hitting his prostate still, he was over-stimulated.

“You gotta call me ‘daddy’,” he ordered softly.

“Oh, Daddy, please! It’s too much!”

Hearing the name spill from his lips was enough for Vox to hit his climax. He held tightly to his legs as he came. “Fuck! Yes! Oh! God! That was JUST what I needed!” He slipped the condom off once he’d pulled out. He looked around the room. “Got a garbage can in here?”

“Fuck, no, I-”

Vox chuckled. “I’ll take it to the bathroom.” He stood up. “And get you something to clean up with,” he offered.

“Down the hall, to your right,” he told him, still trying to catch his breath.

Vox smiled. Then he leaned down and kissed him softly. “Be right back.” He left the room nonchalantly. Alastor dropped his head against the pillow. He couldn't believe he’d done this! Was he insane? Sex with a stranger. Not JUST that, but prostituting himself on top of that! He sighed. He felt sick to his stomach. He’d literally turned himself into a whore. But then he thought of his daughter; he’d do anything for her. He’d whore himself out to a hundred different men if it meant she would be taken care of.

Vox found the bathroom, tied off the condom and threw it in the trash. He looked at himself in the mirror. Had he really done this?! They hadn’t talked about ‘terms’ yet, but he’d sought someone out to pay them for their time and physical contact. He was now a ‘John’ and that idea made him uncomfortable. But this was different than picking up a hooker off the street and Alastor was certainly no hooker. He wanted more than just a fling. From what he’d learned of the older man, he really liked him. Vox didn’t want an actual relationship, sure, but he wanted more than just a physical one.

He found the linen closet and got a washcloth, ran it under some warm water and headed back to the room. He smiled at Alastor when he stepped back in. He laid down beside him and cleaned off his front with the washrag. “Thank you,” Alastor whispered. “I could have done that.”

“Shh, let me take care of you.” Vox finished wiping him down and set the cloth aside. He pulled Alastor into his arms and ran his fingers through his hair. “This was really nice. Thank you.”

“Um, you’re welcome?”

Vox chuckled. “You’re adorable, I hope you realize that.” He snuggled closer to him and then stopped. He pulled away. “I’m sorry, is this okay?”

“Oh, of course.”

“Because if you’d rather I go, I can-”

“Please stay,” Alastor quickly said, almost afraid the other man would disappear if he let him go right then. He felt Vox relax and pull him closer once more.

“Okay, I’ll stay.” He kissed the top of his head. “Sleep well.”

Alastor closed his eyes. He knew he shouldn’t feel safe in the arms of a stranger, but he felt more than just safe being held by Vox, he felt contentment. He let himself relax as he drifted off to sleep.

When Alastor woke the next morning, he was alone. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting; making breakfast together, a quick morning wood fuck? All he knew was he felt disappointed to be alone. He sat up and saw a note on the nightstand.

‘Al, I had an amazing time last night. I’d like to pay you appropriately for your time, but since I don’t have your account information, I left your money on the nightstand.’

Alastor wanted to glance at it to see how much, but didn’t want to know what he was or wasn’t worth in the man’s mind, so he kept reading.

‘I’ll text you so we can set up a time to meet and go over details if you wish to continue this arrangement. Until then.’ His name signed at the bottom with a flourish. But the letter then continued.

‘P.S. I’m leaving a little extra to cover that hospital bill I saw on the coffee table in the living room.’

Alastor dropped the letter and grabbed the wad of cash sitting there. He counted it. He had indeed left him with enough to cover the bill and extra. The man had that kind of money just on him!? And he was giving it to Alastor for the ‘amazing time’ they’d had? He counted it again and then once more. If THIS was the way he planned on ‘taking care’ of him, he knew he was ready to do just about anything the man would ask of him.
