Summary
The hunger inside him—the need—burned like strong whiskey sliding harshly down his windpipe. The desire to pull Alastor by the waist, to kiss the nape of his neck, to bite that soft, delicate skin… but all of that was forbidden territory.
Finally, Alastor lifted his face slightly, without turning his body, and spoke with that musical, theatrical, gentle voice:
“You’re staring at me again, mon chou?”
Vincent swallowed the honest answer, because it would be far too inconvenient that early in the morning, and he walked toward him.
“I like admiring what’s mine,” he murmured, soft and raspy, pressing his chest against Alastor’s back.

Summary
Alastor’s plan was perfect. He’d be chain-free by the end of the week. The only teeny tiny flaw was that being imprisoned was incredibly boring. Fortunately, existing so close to Vox revealed many of the demon’s fascinating vulnerabilities. There are few things Alastor hated worse than tedium and Vox offered entertainment in spades.
(OR: Alastor indulges Vox’s obvious praise kink because he’s bored. It goes much better than expected.)
