3rd person pov!!!
the infamous invisible mafia.
a mafia where members worshipped him like he was a god
a mafia solely dedicated to him, doing his biddings whenever asked.
when things weren't done properly, punishment would be received.
the mafia was so strict on rules like no talking verbally and the only way for communication was by writing on signs. always staying invisible and as well as many more ridiculous rules had to be followed, otherwise there would be punishment.
whether be it torture, solidary confinement if your lucky, if not, worse...
stasised out of the world into the void, permanently banning one from the server.
that is unless you are a certain copper trim, favoured by the cold ruthless mafia leader himself..
she never left his side, being the most devoted member out of the entire mafia even if she was a low ranking copper trim.
She was the same person he trusted he most out of his entire mafia, even if she couldn't do much to help him

no, he couldn't bring himself to harm her despite being everything he is ; power-hungry, controlling, egotistical, manipulative, and genuinely evil.
he ran a mafia, killing people whenever he please just because he felt like it. but the one thing he could never do on purpose was to harm squiddo.
sure he did use her as a pawn for his schemes multiple times, using her to guide a certain duo to places where he wanted them to be
but she was alright with it, since it was for him. she never got harm while she did his bidding anyways.
him leaving cords in her base was a set up, her house randomly having an ocelot named with cords was a set up. since the very beginning, he has been using her in the first place.
although he did thought of getting rid of her once she was no longer of any use to ensure that all his distractions and weaknesses were out of the way, the same thing he did to his other pawns..

when he first joined the unstable smp, squiddo was surprisingly the only one who he actually got along with despite their opposite personalities.
things between the duo might be slightly toxic with him occasionally manipulating her and giving her light punishments, though it always ended with him always apologising afterwards while feeling guilty....she didn't mind his actions and stayed regardless.
back then when this certain copper trim first joined his mafia, he paid no attention to them, thinking that they were just a regular player. that was until he noticed that
this particular copper trim never left him alone and kept following him.
only then, he started paying more attention to them.
the copper trim had peaked his curiosity with their devotion. compared to the others, not even his high ranking diamond trims were this devoted?
it didn't took long for him to start noticing the patterns the copper trim displayed, the same one his ex-roommate has shown months ago, after he started keeping an eye on her.
why was only this copper trim was so solely devoted to him?
It doesnt make sense why only was this lowly ranked copper trim so devoted to him compared to the others!?
then it clicked.

that same day when he found out that his devoted copper trim was his best friend he missed oh so dearly after moving out, she was being tortured due to failing a mission...
and oh how he quickly rushed to the torture chamber to stop the punishment half way...

her invisibility potion was wearing off while she was chained up, unconscious. her blood dripping down, staining the flooring underneath

this was the first time he was genuinely worried in this whole life but of course he didn't let it show.
the fellow members torturing her were scared to death the moment his cold voice boomed through-out the torture chamber...

they never heard him this mad before...
"ill handle the punishment for this copper trim from now on, understand?" his harsh cold words were definitely threatening...ones that held no mercy if there was even the slight bit of disobedience
the gold trims nodded frantically, shifting back while keeping their heads down as ash broke the chains with ease using his bare hands.
he took care of her after the whole situation since then and the rest was history.

her 'punishments' were way better and lenient than the usual punishments the rest of the mafia received. hell, her 'punishments' weren't even to be considered 'punishments'!
at most, which rarely happens, was that he would let her 'starve' for a few hours together with him while he did his work in his office. the punishment lasted no longer than 5 hours which wasn't even bad considering he would make sure she eat before the punishment and would always prepare a buffet for her to eat afterwards when the 'punishment' ended, always making sure she ate enough and was satisfied.

in her eyes, if he wanted to punish her, she would take it without complain, following his wishes.
after all, he was the only one on the server who treated her nicely instead of using her and then tossing her aside when she no longer had a use to them.
well, he aside from him moving out of her civilisation for the mafia but he atleast still kept in touch!!
therefore she would do anything to make sure that he was happy with her. she was willing to do anything to stay with him, even if it cost her life.

Ashswag was still ruthless yet when it came to her, he couldnt bring himself to treat her the way he treat others. she was his weakness.
she loves him as much as he loves her.
squiddo would give up anything for ashswag as long as he asked

ashswag on the other hand would die for her and would do anything to keep her safe.
thats how their dynamic was. they are devoted to each other. Their love was strong as ever.
