Hinata, Kageyama, Sugawara, Daichi, Tsukkishima, and Yamaguchi from Karasuno arrive at a tournament and start exploring the place with Sugawara and Daichi supervising. They bump into Kuroo, Kenma, Lev, and Yaku from Nekoma, their rival school. Daichi and Kuroo immediately start getting passive aggressive while Sugawara and Yaku watch them disappointedly, and Hinata and Lev start running around and laughing and yelling.
Kuroo: Well if it isn’t the crows from the suburbs.
Daichi: If it isn’t the sly little cats. How have you been Kuroo?
Kuroo: Very well. Thank you for asking. How's old age treating you?
Daichi: Better than it’s been treating you.
Meanwhile Oikawa and Iwaizumi, Akaashi and Bokuto, Atsumu and Kita, and Ushiijima and Tendou all run into each other at the entrance and decide to all walk in together.
They keep walking until they see the Karasuno and Nekoma members and wave them over.
Bokuto: Hey, hey, hey!! Long time no see!
Hinata: BOKUTO-SAN!!!!!
Bokuto: If it isn’t my favorite little pupil! Have you been improving your jumps?
Hinata: Of course! I bet I can jump higher than you!
Bokuto: HAHAHA! Let’s see about that one!
Lev: Hey don’t forget me! I’m still the tallest and I bet I jump higher than BOTH of you!
On the other hand Kageyama, Ushijima, Kenma, Kita, and Akaashi stand on the side watching with slight amusement, while Iwaizumi stops Oikawa from flirting with some girls and Sugawara and Yaku try to get everyone to calm down.
Oikawa and Atsu,u: Did you guys miss our gorgeous faces?
Kageyama: ABSOLUTELY NOT. I WISH YOU GUYS WERE GONE.
Oikawa: How could you?! I’m gorgeous!
Atsumu: Where are your manners! I know you missed me. You just won’t admit it.
Daichi: Alright, alright all of you settle down. I was thinking, since the tournament is done, why don’t we all go on a trip for a few weeks? To somewhere near the beach. I already found a hotel and we have a van we could rent.
Bokuto, Hinata, Lev, Tendou, Atsumu, Yamaguchi, and Oikawa: YES!
Kenma, Kageyama, Kita, Akaashi, Iwaizumi, Tsukkishima and Ushijima: That’s too much work. And everyone here is so loud. I don’t want to be stuck with them for like three weeks.
Daichi, Sugawara, Yaku, and Kuroo: TOO BAD! We’ve decided already. So everyone go back and pack your things. We’ll meet in front of the gymnasium tomorrow and make sure you have enough clothes for three weeks. And don’t forget swimsuits!
Everyone heads back to their dorms with their teammates and they get ready to start packing.
In Hinata and Kageyama’s room:
Hinata: KAGEYAMA!!! WE’RE GOING ON A THREE WEEK TRIPS WITH THE OTHERS! ARE YOU EXCITED!!!
Kageyama: Shut up. You’re so loud.
Hinata: HMPH! You could at least act somewhat excited.
Kageyama: I’m stuck with you for another three weeks. What’s great about that?
Hinata: You’re the worst. *He flops down on the bed as Kageyama chuckles
Kageyama: But maybe it won’t be too bad.
Hinata: YAYYYY!!!!
Kageyama: Alright, now go pack and go to sleep. We need to be up early tomorrow to meet everyone else. And stop being so loud.
Hinata: Okkkkkkk.
Hinata continues packing, not realizing that Kageyama was watching him with a small, soft smile on his face, and a slight blush creeping up his neck.
In the other rooms similar situations were happening, with one person being excited and another one being tired of their energy, but secretly finding them adorable. The next morning they all get up early with their luggage, where some people (hem hem Oikawa and Atsumu) brought three separate suitcases, while some more reasonable people (hem hem Akaashi) brought a simple bag and suitcase, and they all met in front of the gymnasium and saw the coach bus waiting to pick them up.
Daichi: Alright, everyone’s here! We’re going to have a driver get us there, and it’ll be a five hour drive, but afterwards we’re going to be without a car for the next three weeks. We can only call Ubers. Got it?
Everyone else: Yep
Daichi: Alright. Slight problem. Since our bags are too much thanks to certain people *he GLARES at Oikawa and Atsumu we won’t have enough seats for everyone, soooo we’re gonna need some people to sit on other people’s laps…
Everyone: WTF?!
Daichi: I’m sorry guys. Blame those two. But we really are going to need some people to share seats.
Kuroo: Kenma can sit on my lap. Right Kenma?
Kenma: I don’t mind. You’re quite comfy
Kuroo grins but can’t hide the blush in his cheeks when Kenma says that.
Tsukkishima: Yamaguchi can sit on my lap. He’s done it before. Right, Yamaguchi?
Yamaguchi: Oh um yea! That’s - that’s fine.
Yamaguchi’s ear tips turn slightly red and he looks away from Tsukkishima.
Daichi: Alright two more pairs need to share seats.
Kitsu: Atsumu can sit on me. I don’t mind.
Atsumu: Wait WHAT?!
Kita: Yea. You don’t mind, do you?
Atsumu: N-no not really.
Kita: Great, then that’s settled. *He smirks at Atsumu
Atsumu smirks back but his smirk falters as the redness starts creeping up his neck and Kita notices and smirks wider.
Daichi: Alright, we just need one more pair.
Yaku: I’ll sit on Lev’s lap.
Lev: Yea! Wait what?!
Yaku: Yeah. I mean I’m small and you need someone on you to keep you from jumping around everywhere.
Lev: Fine. (he says this grumpily, but he can’t hide his growing smile, and Yaku notices)
Daichi: Alright! That’s settled then! Let’s get on the bus now!
Everyone starts loading their luggage and hop onto the bus and find their seats.
Sugawara and Daichi sit together in the front
Hinata and Kageyama sit together with Hinata at the window seat looking at the view
Ushijima sits next to the luggage on his own and Tendou sits on the other side of the aisle
Akaashi and Bokuto sit next to each other with Bokuto jumping like a puppy
Oikawa and Iwaizumi sit together with Oikawa in the aisle seat already talking his ass off
Finally the pairs that need to share seats settle down.
Yamaguchi settles down on Tsukkishima’s lap and immediately falls asleep with Tsukkishima’s hand rubbing circles on his leg. He murmurs “Tsukki” in his sleep making Tsukkishima turn away and blush.
Lev sits down with Yaku on his lap and Yaku acts like a weight keeping Lev down.
Atsumu awkwardly sits down on Kita’s lap but Kita pulls Atsumu in and wraps his arms around Atsumu’s waist, making Atsumu flustered but also happy.
Finally Kenma sits down on Kuroo’s lap but straddles it instead of sitting normally, saying it “gave him more space to play his games,” without realizing that Kuroo’s whole face was red due to the position and had a slight erection growing and was trying to cover it.
Daichi: Alright! Everyone sitting?
Everyone: Yea.
Daichi: Alright! Our three week trip starts now!
And they drove off into the sunrise without knowing how much this was going to change their life.
