Like mouses when the cats come home. Like when the “dumb quartet” hears him coming from a mile away.
He lets the pro’s and con’s argue against each other in his mind, tiring themselves out with the effort to keep up with each other. Neither has won their case just yet, they’ve been going at it for a few days now.And suddenly, just when he’s getting tired, the side of the pro’s come up with an earthshattering argument.
