Summary:

Realizing this, Athena took a few deep, calming breaths, waiting for her heart rate to slow a bit before she nodded at Trucy. "Yeah… Guess I'm about as ready as I'll ever be."

"Great! In that case, let's get out there and do some magic!" With that, Trucy gave Athena a confident nod and stepped forward towards the stage, her assistant trailing right behind her. She was more than ready to give them a hell of a show.

A round of applause and various cheers erupted upon their entrance, the noise almost deafening. Athena did her best to maintain a cheerful, upbeat expression as she and Trucy greeted the audience, waving at every crowdgoer. It was awfully hard to keep smiling with so many eyes on her. Though, in a way, it gave Athena a bit more respect for Trucy being able to do this on the daily.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's so great to see you all tonight!" Trucy cheered as she strode towards the center of the stage, her showmanship already taking over. The audience applauded loudly in response, whistling and cheering for their favorite magician. "I'm sure some of you already know me, and I'm delighted to give you all another night of magic and wonder! And I'm pleased to introduce my new assistant for the night: the Amazing Athena!" She gestured to Athena.

After all, she had never seen any of her tricks go wrong before. Why start doubting the girl here?

Likewise, Trucy went up to the other box and opened its doors as well, gesturing inside. "As you can see, these boxes are perfectly ordinary." She stepped into the box on the right, Athena doing the same on her end. "But when Athena and I step inside, that's when the fun begins!"

"Right… Yeah, right! A little more magic should make them reappear!" Athena cheered, regaining her smile as she strode back into her own box, facing the audience.

"Switch around and reappear!" Trucy cheered, tapping her wand on the box. The hinges of the doors swung shut and mere seconds later, they opened up to reveal both girls had switched places. Only now, they were missing a bit more than just their hats and cloaks.
