Yume croncials

Summary:

SUMMARY

ET-4730. Year 3774.

The planet rotates too slowly for comfort, each day stretching 200 hours beneath two suns and three moons. Mutation is ordinary. So are wings, fire, and people who shouldn’t exist.

They call these anomalies "Yumes", powers born from dreams, or something close enough to them. Life and Death stopped being opposites a long time ago.

The Archive has yet to be announced. Truths of this world will come undone in non standered ways.

This file wasn’t cleared for public access. If you’re reading this, you weren’t supposed to.

PVC is watching. Proceed with caution.

TL;DR: Cil gave me this file and said “it’ll make sense later.” It didn’t.

Notes:

Yo, Im Offe, Cil is a friend of mine who invited me to co-author this alternative universe they want, i hoinestly don't understand half the lore the wrote but Im interested in fights and lal that stuff, so, yeah.

I dont have discord so, if you have any questions on what the fuck is going on inside this book, just leave a comment for Cil and he'll respond. Im to lazy to do anything.

Most of the chapters will be uploaded by me; Cil just formats things and adds his emotional damage. Blame him, not me.

Enjoy, or something.

> INTRODUCTION

What is this world?

Well, the story finds itself in the year 3774, a long, long time since the scrolls were discovered, but just a bit before ARCHIVE was officially documented.
If you’re wondering why I talk about the future like it’s a distant rumor, it’s because a single day here lasts 200 hours.

We still call this planet Earth, but its real designation is ET-4730.
(Cil was on crack when he wrote this because wtf, how does he come up with this shit)

> SOLAR STRUCTURE

Now, if you’re sitting there thinking,
“Wait, how the hell does a 200-hour day even work?”
Let me try to make it make sense, though it barely makes sense to me.

This planet has three moons and two suns.

For whatever reason, the primary sun constantly collapses and reforms, like a dying star that refuses to stay dead. It should’ve vaporized the atmosphere by now, but it hasn’t — because this is fiction, and none of this is real.

Here’s the approximate cycle:

  • Sunrise: The first sun rises from the West. One of the moons drifts behind it.
  • Eclipse One: After 59 hours, the moon covers the sun — a full eclipse marking morning fading into evening.
  • Sun Split: The sun divides in two, merging with the second moon and the second sun, which doesn’t move at all. It just expands, like a glowing capsule.
  • Lunar Eclipse: After another 60 hours, the capsule collapses into darkness — an hour passes, then night begins.
  • Nighttime: Roughly 80 hours of twilight follow before the sun sets to the East, and the cycle repeats.

If you’re confused, don’t worry, im confused aswell, ask Cil in the comments because idk what this even is LOL

> AUTHOR’S NOTE / WARNING

This isn’t a normal world.
It’s unstable, irregular, and half the people who try to explain it lose their minds halfway through the equation.
Cil is no exception and im not far behind but THANK GOD I aint doing worldbuilding because wtf

But that’s exactly what makes it worth telling.

So, welcome to ET-4730.
A planet too tired to stop spinning,
and too awake to dream.

Chapter 2: Yume cronical

Summary:

A compiled record from the PVC archives regarding the first emergence of Yumes.
Recovered material has been redacted, restored, and reclassified for limited publication.
Humanity adapted. The data didn’t.

Notes:

To make difference:

p.y is pre-yume.

P.y. is post-yume.

Cil im going to decapitate you if we ever meet up. My brain physically hurts in a way that makes it so I would rather kill myself than actually listen to all this yappyng.
- Offe.

Fuck you and your picture that looks like a memory of a person you knew but dont remember how thye look like and the image is what yhey imagen.

Recovered From: Vault ██ – Sector 8 (North Continental Branch)
Status: Declassified (Restricted Circulation)
Compiler: Kiluma

INTRODUCTORY NOTE
Before wings, flames, and illusions became everyday hazards, humanity was just trying to survive gravity.
Back then, mutation was called disease, and anything unexplainable got filed under “divine punishment.”
The PVC (Player Versatile Commission) likes to present the timeline as clean and scientific. It isn’t.

[Archivist’s Context – O. Ferrane | PVC Internal Network Entry 0473-A]

If you’re reading this, congratulations—you’re already in violation of three access regulations.
This file isn’t supposed to exist anymore. Not publicly. Not internally. Definitely not under my name.

I recovered it from the Vault after a cross-reference loop flagged the wrong timestamp. Lucky me. Or maybe unlucky, depending on how you view the truth.

The document you’re about to read, Genesis and Societal Integration of Yume, was compiled before the current PVC administration rewrote the record books. It’s one of the few surviving artifacts that still calls things what they were, not what they’ve been renamed into.

Keep in mind: most of the “official” history you’ve been taught starts after this point.
Everything before was burned, buried, or blamed on superstition.

This is where it started.
This is where the lie began.

I. Preface

Prior to the emergence of Yume phenomena, human biology was considered a stable system, bound by ordinary genetic parameters.
No recorded anomalies indicated spontaneous genetic restructuring or metaphysical responses to consciousness.

This stability ended in the 869th year pre-Yume, marking the earliest verified mutation clusters.
Rural settlements of that era documented widespread illness followed by spontaneous recovery, often accompanied by physical transformation in subsequent generations.

The same people recovered miraculously, stronger than before.
Their children were… different.
Something is happening
May our sins be forgiven

Descriptions include the growth of vestigial limbs, cranial horns, feathered appendages, or dermal pigmentation shifts.
No consistent pattern of inheritance was observed.

II. Early Historical Suppression

SECTION II.V – THE ZAM EMPIRE AND THE ERA OF BURNING SCROLLS
(Previously identified in surviving documents as the Zern Empire; name corrected to ZAM following recovered linguistic evidence.)

Archival fragments indicate that the Zam Empire identified Yume-bearing individuals as destabilizing threats to imperial order.
The discovery of these “Dreaming Illness” cases caused widespread unrest-reports of winged or horned children spread through trade routes faster than containment orders could be issued.

Imperial decrees mandated the destruction of all written records related to the phenomenon, specifically those produced by commoners.
Scholars, medics, and scribes were executed for “ideological treason.”

Evidence recovered centuries later confirms that dissenting factions worked in secret to preserve fragments of knowledge.
Scrolls and visual records were sealed within crypts, temples, and buried beneath major settlements.
The surviving material predates 900 p.y., showing advanced ink degradation and partial loss of legibility.

The Zam Emperor’s official declaration read:

“No human, present or future, shall know of the cursed evolution.”

Which, obviously, worked about as well as banning fire in a thunderstorm.

Villagers sympathetic to the afflicted hid scrolls in plain sight: under wells, temple floors, even inside musical instruments.
Some left coded messages for future generations:

“Find the ones who dream while awake.”

They hoped a kinder ruler would rediscover the truth.
Instead, the Yume bloodlines went silent.
History simply… forgot.

III. Rediscovery – The Hopkins Event (1749)

The first verified rediscovery occurred under Jermlin G. Y. Hopkins, a minor scholar and the son of two anthropologists.
Hopkins’ field notes revealed early-stage Yume phenomena, which he categorized as hereditary cognitive mutations.

Two core findings from his recovered documentation:

  1. Yume activation responds to psychological state and awareness, not external catalysts.

  2. The mutation sequence is latent, present in carriers but dormant until an unidentified threshold is met.

Hopkins was detained by pre-PVC agents for unlicensed research. His notes were absorbed into restricted archives, labeled the findings “hallucinations."

But once knowledge reappears, you can’t delete it.
Rumors spread. Studies followed.
Then came chaos.

IV. Establishment of the PVC

The Personal Venturing Call (PVC) originated in 1812 P. y., as a non-governmental initiative.
Founded by four professionals; a teacher, psychologist, doctor, and medic; it's purpose was rehabilitation and social reintegration of Yume, bearers. They didn’t want power. They wanted safety. Then they died. No one knows if it was coincidence or consequence.

Following the Founder Murders (1848), PVC underwent a total administrative shift. The restructured organization implemented classification systems that remain active today:

  • Players: Functional Yume users; granted legal protections.

  • Crashes: Unstable or incomplete Yume manifestations; monitored.

  • 404s: Hostile or unregistered; designated for elimination.

Internal ethics reforms followed decades later after public exposure of inhumane containment practices (1877).
Subjects under the exposure were erased from records in avoidence of safety and consent.

Corruption followed naturally.
Power always rewrites its own rules.

SECTION IV.V – THE SECOND REFORMATION
By 1877, Players undergoing training began leaking footage of PVC misconduct — labor exploitation, abuse, power manipulation.
Governments intervened, new officials replaced the old ones, and laws were rewritten once again.
Officially, the PVC claims to “protect and regulate.”
Unofficially, they monitor and erase.

The structure remains the same. The faces just change.

V. Modern Relevance

Current PVC doctrine acknowledges Yume as a stable biological divergence of humanity.
Despite existing social frameworks and regulation laws, ongoing investigations suggest continued unethical experimentation under private sectors and unsanctioned divisions.

Humanity didn’t create Yumes out of ambition.
It created them out of necessity—evolution adapting to a dying planet that refused to stay asleep.
Whether that’s a blessing or a curse depends on who you ask.

End of report.

Chapter 3: Yume types

Summary:

This chapter provides a foundational overview of Yumes, the innate supernatural abilities present in all humans. The section outlines the origin principles, operational mechanisms, and the internationally recognized ranking structure used to evaluate Yume potency and stability.

Key points include:
- Definition of Yume
- Rank Classification System
- Manu Dependency
- Risk Considerations
- Yume Categories
¬ The chapter concludes by noting the existence of four main Yume types, each governed by unique regulations, cultural significance, and operational risks. These categories will be detailed individually in subsequent chapters (4–7).

Notes:

Hmm, I don't understand anything.

Also, I will be posting more for a while since Cil got a cold and is actually dying. Man got a 40°C fever, headache, body fatigue, musle ache, runny nose, coughs that are crispy in the way of im sick.

Send them some love and kudos, they might fuel from it and get better. Who knows.

CHAPTER 3 — THE FOUR PATHS OF YUME

What Are Yumes?

Every human is born with the potential to awaken a Yume — a supernatural ability shaped by fragments of their soul, their fears, their wants, and their inner nature.

 Yume Ranks

Yumes are classified by power, stability, and the amount of Manu they naturally consume. Humanity organizes them into a long tiered ladder, from nearly useless to reality-altering:

  • F — Feeble
The weakest. Flickering, unstable, often more of an inconvenience than an ability. Awakening an F-rank is common in children before their true manifestation appears.
  • E — Edge
Low-tier power that functions but poorly. Users often cannot control output or direction.
  • D — Dull
Reliable enough for daily life, but limited range and potential. Many citizens remain here.

  • C — Core
Standard strength. Good control, predictable effects. The majority of trained Yume-users fall into this category.

  • B — Bound
High-mid power. Strong enough for specialized careers or low-level combat units. Requires discipline to avoid draining Manu too quickly.

  • A — Ascended
High-tier. Versatile, forceful, and dangerous when misused. A-ranks are monitored by national Yume Registries.

  • S — Superior
Superhuman. Capable of feats that defy logic or physics. Governments fight to recruit them. Ordinary laws rarely apply.

  • SS — Sovereign
Reality-bending and incredibly rare. Their presence alone can alter the environment. Each SS Yume has historically changed the course of nations.

  • SSS — Supreme
Catastrophic potential. Classified abilities. A single mistake can level cities.

  • SSS+ — Singularity
The rank whispered about rather than written. Power that bends fate, destiny, and possibility itself. There are only myths of people reaching this tier—and half of those myths end with worlds shattered.

Manu and Kilpa

All Yumes feed from Manu, the world’s natural magical flow. But the stronger the Yume, the faster it drains the user.

When too much Manu is consumed, the soul slips into Kilpa, a spirit-state where:

  • The body collapses

  • The soul becomes weightless and silent

  • The user can observe but cannot touch

  • Time feels distorted

  • Voices sound like they’re underwater

  • Emotion becomes distant and hollow

If Kilpa lasts more than 13 hours, the soul begins tearing from the body, and the dissociation can become permanent.

Some cultures treat Kilpa as a sacred trial. Others fear it. No one truly returns unchanged.

Humanity recognizes four types of Yume, each with its own laws, rituals, and dangers.

GAME YUME (Overview)

Game Yumes are the ones people whisper about — flashy, dramatic, the type that fills textbooks, headlines, and prisons.

Rarity:

Rare. Only the naturally combative or strong-willed have high chances of developing it.

Core Principle:

A Game Yume MUST manifest through a physical representation:

  • A weapon

  • A creature

  • An emotion

  • A symbolic object

Without this form, the Yume cannot exist.

How It Works:

  • Activated by chants, sometimes tied to sacrifice

  • Can be passive or aggressive depending on command

  • Certain representations develop bars—special meters that change behavior or intensify power

Strengths:

  • Highly adaptable

  • Often the most visually powerful

  • Can evolve with experience or emotion

Weaknesses:

  • Burns through Manu quickly

  • Reckless users trigger Kilpa easily

  • Rituals can backfire if interrupted

Notable Example:

A mace whose “fun bar” rises as the user’s dopamine spikes, making them exponentially deadlier the happier they get.

NELL YUME (Overview)

The most common Yume and one of the most underestimated.

Rarity:

Widespread. Most Yume users have at least one Nell Yume in their lifetime.

Core Principle:

Nell Yume manipulates objects and illusions, creating or deleting things with limited realism.

How It Works:

  • Users summon a veil, a curtain-like projection powered through an accessory

  • Veils can hide locations, erase traces, muffle signatures, and distort perception

  • Illusions range from simple shapes to nearly living constructs depending on user focus

Strengths:

  • Easy to activate—no chant, no sacrifice

  • Excellent for strategy, infiltration, and evasion

  • Illusions can mimic reality almost perfectly if the user is skilled

Weaknesses:

  • Cannot create valuable materials

  • Large-scale veils consume massive Manu

  • Extended use risks Kilpa

Common Saying Among Scholars:

“Nell Yume is not weak, it simply requires imagination.”

PURIFY YUME (Overview)

A Yume oriented toward healing, clarity, and the delicate edge between life and consequence.

Rarity:

Fairly rare. Only those with a naturally analytical, empathetic mind develop it.

Core Principle:

Purify Yume is fueled not by Manu, but by knowledge.
Understanding anatomy, emotion, toxins, or energy patterns increases its potency.

How It Works:

  • Users can heal injuries, cleanse infections, soothe trauma, or enhance senses

  • Distance healing is possible through established emotional or spiritual links

  • Precision healing demands deeper knowledge—and costs more life

Strengths:

  • Can mend wounds others deem fatal

  • Neutralizes poisons, viruses, curses

  • A single user can change the outcome of entire battles

Weaknesses:

  • Every use drains lifespan

  • Cannot heal injuries caused by Yumes

  • Cannot reverse overuse consequences like blindness or nerve death

  • Emotionally demanding

Philosophical Note:

Purify users often become philosophers, doctors, or martyrs.
Their power forces them to choose between saving others or saving themselves.

BALANCED YUME (Overview)

A myth. A prophecy. A paradox brought to life.

Only two beings in the world have ever awakened it—the embodiments of Life and Death.

Rarity:

Extinct level. Chosen by fate, not genetics.

Core Principle:

Balanced Yume does not follow the laws of the other three types.
It originates from the universe’s primordial design, long before the first recorded Yume.

How It Works:

Life and Death each wield aspects of Balance:

LIFE:

  • Creates organisms, “clones,” and ecosystems

  • Can grow nature where none should exist

  • Grants half-powers to their creations

  • Does not require sleep or sustenance, only stability

  • Overgrowth occurs when balance breaks: uncontrolled vines, choking roots, rotting bloom

DEATH:

  • Sees every soul, lingering or lost

  • Creates illusions of life that are actually forms of ending

  • Guides release—not destruction, but completion

  • Crystalizes spirits so they can rest

  • Immortal, unless killed by the combined weapon of Life and Death

Shared Burden:

Life creates.
Death completes.
If one weakens, the world destabilizes.
If one dies, the other follows- and the universe collapses.

Strengths:

  • Reality-bending potential

  • Immortality

  • Absolute influence over life cycles

Weaknesses:

  • Their powers harm the world when unbalanced

  • Separation destabilizes their existence

  • Their abilities contradict the natural order; each usage leaves a metaphysical scar

Historical Mystery:

Ancient scrolls describe them as “the breath and the silence,” and warn:

“Too much Life makes Death heavy. Too much Death makes Life rot.”

Notes:

So Game Yume is the most powerful, has it be representated by something—anything.

Nell Yume is seen useless but isn't.

Purify Yume is literally a healing power.

Wow. Everyone point at Cil and tell him what you think.

Chapter 4: Game Yume

Summary:

Chapter 4 delivers an exhaustive, system-level analysis of Game Yumes, the most volatile and symbolically manifested category of Yume abilities.

It outlines their rarity, activation mechanisms, and mandatory requirement of a physical or conceptual representation through which power is channeled.

The chapter formally categorizes the structural components of a Game Yume, including chant-based triggers, emotive catalysts, and meter-based submechanics (“bars”) that alter capability under stress, emotion, or specific stimuli.

Additionally, the chapter clarifies the high Manu consumption rate that defines the risk profile of Game Yumes, identifying them as the Yume-type most likely to force users into Kilpa-state upon misuse or emotional destabilization.

Operational strengths—such as extreme adaptability, scalability, and evolutive potential—are balanced against catastrophic weaknesses including ritual interruption, instability, and power volatility.

Notes:

Hello, uh, Ig.

Cil is feeling better but is still taking the day off to recover. Dumbhead went to school for an hour and then left. I told him to not go but he wouldn't listen to me lol.

Uh there's a lot of info, reminder that if you have any questions please ask Cil by leaving a comment or asking them through discord: _offlilly

CHAPTER 4 — GAME YUMES (ANALYSIS)

Compiled by: Research Division (Kiluma)
Clearance Level: Tier-2

What Defines a Game Yume?

Game Yumes belong to the most dramatic subset of Yume abilities — volatile, ritualistic, and shaped by the user's relationship with conflict, instinct, and intention.

Unlike the other three Yume paths, Game Yumes cannot exist without a vessel.
This physical representation is their anchor, conduit, and identity all at once.
Without it, the Yume becomes inert.

A Game Yume’s vessel may take the form of:

  • a weapon
  • an object
  • a creature
  • a sensation
  • an emotion
  • a symbolic artifact

The vessel is not chosen arbitrarily — it reflects the user’s core nature so deeply that removing it can fracture their mana flow.

Rarity and Development Probability

Game Yumes are statistically rare. Reports show:

  • 30% chance when developing a first Yume
  • 5% as a second Yume
  • 0.6% when emerging as a final Yume

An unusually high percentage of users with Game Yume potential share traits of:

  • natural combat aptitude
  • rigid morality
  • strong emotional conviction
  • instinct toward order or rule-making

These traits do not guarantee a Game Yume, but they heighten the soul’s likelihood of forming one.

Activation Laws

Game Yumes use internal rules, counters, and triggers to modify reality; to bring a Game Yume into full function, users commonly rely on:

  • chants — spoken sequences that bind intent to form
  • sacrifices — small symbolic offerings, used only in advanced chants
  • ritual phrases — micro-commands that shape the Yume’s “rules”

Most users need vocals to activate their Yume, but rare individuals can cast silently, driven by pure conviction and internal focus.
Such cases often correlate with higher emotional instability or unusually strong cognitive-emotional fusion.

Game Yumes can operate in:

  • Passive Mode: dormant, stabilized, part of the user's normal form
  • Aggressive Mode: active, weaponized, rule-altering

Switching between modes drains Manu faster than any other Yume type.

Rule Mechanics and Game Logic

The defining trait of Game Yumes is that they operate on rules, not instincts.
Every action is determined by:

  • a condition
  • a cost
  • an outcome

Users internalize these rule-structures through instinct or formal training.
Some Game Yumes develop unique mechanics such as:

  • bars
  • gauges
  • combo systems
  • tier shifts
  • conditional evolutions

These mechanics are not metaphors — they are literal embedded laws inside the vessel, visible or felt only by the user.

Advantages

Game Yumes offer some of the broadest utility and impact across all Yume types:

  • Highly adaptable: can shift mechanics on the fly
  • Emotion-responsive: most grow stronger with personal development
  • Visually powerful: often the most recognizable Yume style
  • Expandable: rule-sets can evolve as users mature

Many of the world's most dangerous and most celebrated Yume-users fall under this category.

Weaknesses

The cost of a Game Yume is steep:

  • Extreme Manu consumption
  • Ritual interruptions
  • Risk of entering Kilpa
  • Rule failure loops
  • Neurological collapse
  • Rule backlash
  • Emotional dependency
  • Overuse destabilizing
  • Bleeding
  • Déjà vu loops
  • Sensory distortion
  • Glitch hallucinations
  • Heavy NPC-shadow manifestations

Inexperienced users are prone to self-inflicted failures — a rule miscast is far more dangerous than a spell miscast.

The Concept of “Bars”

Some Game Yumes include internal bars — metaphysical meters logged into the vessel’s structure.
These bars regulate:

  • power spikes
  • emotional thresholds
  • safety limits
  • strategic boosts
  • catastrophic failures

Bars can grant immense strength, but also magnify risk.
They reflect the user’s state, not just their skill.

Sub-Type Game Yume:

Game Yumes naturally create branches — “side abilities” or extra modes that form when the main Yume becomes too large.

Branches appear through:

  • Rule Accumulation: Too many rules = splits into smaller sub-systems.
  • Behavioral Alignment: The Yume adapts to how the user fights, thinks, or breaks under stress.
  • Manu Compression Events: High danger → forced evolution → new subtype.

Subtypes can be:

  • Stable — reliable
  • Unstable — glitchy, chaotic, emotional-triggered
  • Hidden — only appear under specific circumstances

Some Yumes never develop subtypes. Some develop several and collapse.

Ranks — F–SSS+

F–E — Simple rules: small rules that barely affect reality but still count as Game Yumes.

  • Tap Counter; A number pops up each time the user taps a surface.
  • Puzzle Slide; One small object can slide like a tile puzzle.

D–C — Active counters / light systems: Functional systems common in civilian and beginner fighters.

  • Rhythm Sync; The world has a subtle beat. Acting in rhythm grants accuracy or speed.
  • Inventory Pocket; Creates a small 3–5 slot inventory.

B–A — Multisystem logic, visual UI: Where systems become complex enough to show UI.

  • Quest Tracker; Life events become “quests” with emotional or physical rewards.
  • Rogue Reset; Rewinds 10 seconds backward once per day.

S — Emotion-reactive systems: Emotion-linked. Dangerous. Often unstable.

  • Fun Bar (Wemmbu — canon)
  • Joy Overclock — temporary overclock when reaching max fun
  • Error Mode — rage or heartbreak flips the bar into a corrupted state

SS — Environmental interference; World-interference mechanics.

  • Dungeon Maker; Creates temporary rooms with puzzles/traps.
  • Critical Surge; Boosts impactful actions on chosen intervals. May distort timing.

SSS — Timeline or fate-interacting systems: Reality loops, fate anchors.

  • Respawn Point; One death → return to a designated point. Years-long cooldown. Illegal without clearance.

SSS+ — Script-level adjustments (forbidden): Reality script adjustments.

  • Patch Notes; Modifies environmental laws in limited patches. Extremely restricted.

Ranks reflect rule complexity, not power.

Case Focus: A Notable Game Yume Example

One of the most infamous modern Game Yumes manifests as a mace, embedded with a “fun bar” that rises as the user’s dopamine increases.

The mechanics are simple — the happier the wielder becomes, the stronger and more dangerous their Yume grows.

At its peak tiers, the Yume can become nearly uncontrollable.

This example forms the foundation of modern research division has discussions on emotional-state weapons and the delicate line between thrill, power, and catastrophic risk.

Emotional Overflow Phenomenon

When Game Yumes exceed their emotional threshold, their vessels may “spill.”
This overflow manifests as:

  • glowing patterns
  • light trails
  • physical distortions of the vessel
  • sensory distortions around the user

These signs indicate that the Yume’s rules are destabilizing.
If not calmed, they may rupture, triggering a cascade toward Kilpa.

Spiritual Interpretation

Many cultures treat Game Yumes as symbols of:

  • willpower
  • self-discipline
  • destiny
  • personal evolution
  • inner rebellion

Others view them as dangerous — divine imitations that tempt humans toward chaos.

Either way, Game Yumes stand as the bridge between instinct and law, the power that makes mortals feel like players inside the world’s script.

Notes:

I'm having to format the story and this sucks ass. Why are you sick Cil.

Chapter 5: Nell Yume

Summary:

Nell Yume is a widely accessible Yume, often appearing as a second or third type. It allows creation, deletion, and realistic illusions, enabling users to manipulate objects, cover traces, and obscure presences. Activation can use a personal accessory as a conduit, forming a “veil” over small or large areas, though extended use increases Manu consumption and Kilpa risk.

Though often underestimated, Nell Yume provides subtle, strategic power, favoring stealth, environmental control, and precision over direct confrontation. Its strength lies in presence and erasure, demonstrating that influence need not be overt to be formidable.

CHAPTER 5 — NELL YUME (ANALYSIS)

Access Log: Restricted
Classification: Level 04 – Internal Access Only
UCTitle: ARCHIVE – ET-4730 SYSTEM
Origin: Player Versatile Commission (PVC), Research Division
Status: Declassified (Restricted Circulation)
Compiler:Reserch Division
Writer: Kiluma
Co-Writer: Wyll

Overview

Nell Yume is the most accessible Yume type, frequently developing even as a second or third Yume. Observed activation rates are approximately:

  • 85% as a first Yume

  • 60% as a second or third Yume

Often underestimated, Nell Yume provides passive-aggressive utility through creation, deletion, and illusion, making it a subtle but formidable strategic asset. Historical records indicate that Nell Yume users have been instrumental in both espionage operations and large-scale environmental manipulations.

Core Characteristics

1. Creation & Deletion

  • Users can create and remove objects, with limitations:

    • Precious metals, gemstones, and monetary items are prohibited.

  • Illusions can emulate objects or environments with high fidelity if the user applies sufficient focus.

  • Historical note: Ancient Nell Yume practitioners were often employed as reconstruction or erasure specialists, capable of removing traces of battles, disasters, or magical residues.

2. Veil Mechanism

The hallmark of Nell Yumes is the veil, a projection or layer that modifies perception:

  • Hides objects, individuals, or movements

  • Muffles sounds or alters audio perception

  • Erases or distorts traces of activity

  • Creates illusions of objects or terrain

Veils are anchored to accessories, tools, or artifacts that the user carries. Some advanced users develop dual-layered or overlapping veils for heightened strategic control.

3. Illusion Scope

Nell Yumes are categorized by realism and scale:

  • Simple Illusions: Single objects, minor distortions

  • Composite Illusions: Multiple objects or terrain manipulations

  • Living Constructs: Semi-autonomous illusions with pseudo-interactivity

  • Environmental Overlays: Large-scale projection capable of masking locations or altering navigable paths

4. Energy Source

Unlike Game Yumes, which rely heavily on Manu + emotional drive, Nell Yumes primarily consume Manu to maintain veils and illusions.

The complexity of the veil directly scales Manu consumption:

  • Single object — minimal

  • Area concealment — moderate

  • Living constructs — high

  • Environmental overlays — critical, risking Kilpa

5. Trail Erasure & Concealment

  • Nell Yumes can:

    • Cover presences

    • Obscure movement

    • Delete traces of objects or events

  • Illusions can layer multiple effects, producing near-realistic environmental alterations.

  • In tactical deployments, Nell Yume is preferred for espionage, sabotage, or evacuation operations, often leaving observers unaware of any interference.

Activation and Control

Nell Yumes are usually passive and subtle, requiring no chant for basic activation.

Advanced methods include:

  • Gesture-based manipulation

  • Accessory-linked projections

  • Cognitive focus to expand or refine illusions

Duration, stability, and fidelity increase with user concentration and mastery of the veil’s “rules”.

Advantages

  • No inherent moral compass required — unlike Game Yumes, innate ethics or combat aptitude are not prerequisites.

  • Low activation overhead:

    • No value sacrifice required

    • No mandatory vocal chants

    • Reduced Manu consumption relative to complex Yumes

  • Strategic versatility: Ideal for reconnaissance, infiltration, or tactical deception

  • Scalable: Can conceal single items or entire regions

  • Low physical demand: Most effects do not strain the user’s body

Weaknesses

  • Manu-dependent: Large-scale veils rapidly drain energy

  • Cannot produce true matter: Only illusions, temporary structures, or minor object creation

  • Extended use may induce Kilpa if the user overreaches

  • Vulnerability to dispel mechanics: Some Yumes or external forces can pierce veils

Subtype Formation

Some Nell Yumes develop branch abilities through user focus and repeated use:

  • Protective Subtype: Veils respond automatically to threats

  • Mimic Subtype: Illusions copy environmental patterns to improve realism

  • Cognitive Overlay: Interfaces with the user’s memory or perception to enhance predictive capability

Subtypes may be stable, unstable, or hidden, similar to branching in Game Yumes, though overall risk is lower.

Rank Classification (F–SSS+)

Nell Yumes are ranked by scale, control, and realism rather than raw destructive potential:

  • F–E: Minor illusions; small object concealment

  • D–C: Multi-object veils; limited environmental alteration

  • B–A: Semi-autonomous illusions; multi-layered perception modification

  • S: Large-scale environmental veils; strategic battlefield concealment

  • SS: Region-scale manipulation; living constructs

  • SSS: Persistent, near-perfect reality overlays; complex interactivity

  • SSS+: Rare, mythic illusions capable of deceiving multiple senses simultaneously; extreme Mana load; extremely dangerous to sustain

Notable Example Cases

  • Single Object Veil (F): User hides personal items for stealth or security

  • Environmental Veil (C): Conceals a small building or terrain area during operations

  • Living Construct (S): Mimics a person or creature to mislead opponents

  • Full Overlay (SS): Temporarily masks urban zones for strategic retreats

  • Cognitive Illusion (SSS): Alters multiple observers’ memories or senses; high-risk, high-reward

Operational Notes

  • Nell Yumes are widely employed by intelligence, espionage, and reconnaissance units

  • Unauthorized large-scale deployment is monitored under CYAD Directive 13

  • Training focuses on precision, subtlety, and conservation of Manu

  • Subtype creation is documented and regulated for operational safety

Cultural & Historical Context

  • Nell Yume has been documented as a foundational skill for early reconnaissance units, both civilian and military, across multiple eras.

  • Some legends describe Nell Yume “keepers” who used veils to hide entire villages or sacred temples from both human and supernatural observers.

  • Scholars note a philosophical undertone: Nell Yume exemplifies the balance between presence and absence, creation and erasure — a reflection of the user’s ability to impose subtle order on the world.

Conclusion

Nell Yumes demonstrate that subtlety can rival power. By manipulating perception rather than reality itself, users gain flexible, sustainable, and strategic influence over environments and conflicts.

Though frequently dismissed as minor or passive, Nell Yume Mastery depends on focus, resource management, and strategic application rather than raw power or combat prowess.

Historical evidence confirms that skilled Nell Yume users can influence outcomes without ever being seen, demonstrating that invisibility and subtlety are forms of power.

Chapter 6: Purify Yume

Summary:

Purify Yume stands apart from the rest—quiet, elegant, and cruel in its cost. Born only from minds shaped by logic and hearts led by feeling, it grants healing that brushes the edge of the miraculous: curing poison, soothing calamity, strengthening the fragile human form. Yet every act of restoration steals a portion of the user’s own lifespan. They see their timer the moment they awaken this Yume, forced from day one to choose: who lives longer—them, or the people they heal?

Its reach is gentle but limited. It cannot mend the damage created by Yumes themselves, nor reverse the consequences of overuse. Knowledge fuels it. Calm governs it. Sacrifice defines it.

CILS NOTE: [NOVEMBER 28]

ive skipped two weeks of school becuase of how shitty if felt. In all honesty, mental health awareness needs to be more present. School doesn't understand. They say they do, but they don't. I don't want to be in a classroom, i dont want to talk to you. I know i cant skip classes but if being in class makes it worse and you say you can't let me not be in class then i'd rather not even show up. Because you're not helping. Im not asking to be able to skip class every single day of the year. I'm asking for help right now until i can get better because I know myself, and if you can't accept the fact that i know how i act, how i will act, how i get when im in class and i feel unstable, then you can't help. Rules restrict that, humans break the rules when unwell because you limit us. You don't help. You make things much worse. Uh anyway, yeah. Feel like shit. Offes helping me rn for most of the work. I probably wont make comments, Ill be more in my doc and other fics than this one. Thanks for the support everyone. <33.

What Defines a Purify Yume?

Purify Yume represents one of the most spiritually intensive and system-delicate branches of Yume development, operating at the intersection of restoration, correction, and soul-adjustment.

Where other Yume types manipulate matter, law, or perception, Purify Yume interacts with the state of being itself — cleansing corruption, stabilizing mana, and rebalancing internal or external anomalies.

Activation patterns indicate that Purify Yume manifests at a notably lower rate than common types but appears more often in environments of:

  • emotional strain

  • environmental corruption

  • exposure to destabilized Yumes

  • prolonged conflict conditions

Purify Yume is classified as a support-locus Yume, but its capabilities place it closer to reality-correction than traditional “healing.”

Rarity and Development Probability

Purify Yume is rarer than Game Yume, yet significantly more demanding in its prerequisites. While activation probability is measurable, true development is contingent upon the soul’s architecture — an inner composition of logic, compassion, and disciplined thought.

  • consistent emotional regulation

  • high cognitive-moral synthesis

  • instinct for repair, caretaking, or correction

  • resistance to sensory distortion

Approximate development rates:

  • 25% chance as a primary Yume
  • 10% chance as a secondary

  • 3% chance as a tertiary

Purify Yume users often exhibit paradoxical traits:
steady temperament with high internal stress tolerance, enabling them to endure the feedback of cleansing contaminated mana.

Unlike Nell Yume, Purify Yume users do not rely on Manu.
Instead, their power is fueled by something far more fragile and irreplaceable:

Knowledge.

Not intelligence alone — but cultivated understanding, reflective reasoning, emotional maturity, and a mind conditioned to interpret the world through patterns, empathy, and structure.

Core Characteristics:

1. Mana Stabilization

Purify Yume allows its user to heal injuries, illnesses, and structural biological damage within varying limits.
Applications include:

  • Neutralizing corrupted Yume residues

  • Stabilizing ruptured internal mana cycles

  • Suppressing external anomalies

  • Slearing Kilpa-adjacent distortions

  • Neutralizing toxins

This makes Purify Yume invaluable during high-risk operations where unstable powers accumulate.

2. Contamination Removal

Users can extract:

  • Emotional corruption

  • Eliminating undetected viruses
  • Mana noise

  • Mana particules
  • Parasitic residues

  • Lingering system errors from Game or Nell Yumes

Purification does not erase memories or core personality traits; it only separates intrusive or foreign elements.

Advanced users can cleanse an entire region, though this carries severe personal cost.

3. Soul-Thread Correction

Some Purify Yumes affect the “threads” — metaphysical filaments representing emotional state, motive, and mana integrity.
Capabilities vary depending on rank:

  • Smoothing frayed threads

  • Repairing severed links

  • Grounding chaotic emotional spirals

  • Reinforcing weakened anchors

  • Modifying physical attributes (strength, senses, stamina, acuity)

  • Restoring depleted vitality

Interference with soul-threads is heavily regulated under Reaserch Division Directive.

4. Purification Fields

Users can create small to mid-scale “fields,” zones where corruption is weakened or erased.

Field types include:

  • Soft Fields: Calm emotional distortion, suppress low-level anomalies

  • Hard Fields: Strip corruption aggressively; may induce vertigo or nausea in sensitive users

  • Selective Fields: Target specific anomalies based on user intent

Field generation is considered a mid-tier to advanced skill.

5. Long-Distance Aid

Once a link is established between two individuals, the user can transmit healing or stabilizing energy across great distances — even across veiled or contaminated zones.

The link is emotional, cognitive, or symbolic in nature. Researchers document links persisting even after prolonged separation or limited contact.

6. Life Exchange Mechanism

Purify Yume’s greatest burden is the lifespan ledger.
Upon obtaining the Yume, the user sees the complete measure of their remaining life — a figure that never lies and never increases.

Every act of healing subtracts from that total.

The user must choose, consciously and deliberately:

  • Preserve others and shorten their own existence

  • Preserve themselves and limit aid

This existential calculus is the defining tragedy of Purify Yume.

7. Calamity Stabilization

Purify Yume can smooth irregular fields, suppress chaotic Yume residues, and neutralize unstable energy pockets.
This ability explains historical records where Purify users were deployed during:

  • plague outbreaks

  • contaminated Yume battlefields

  • dimensional fractures

  • large-scale evacuation crises

Their presence alone lowers chaos frequency, creating breathable, survivable zones.

Activation and Control

Purify Yume activation requires:

  • controlled breathing

  • internal resonance (steady emotional state)

  • concentration on the target impurity

Advanced activation may involve:

  • palm contact

  • sigil-drawing motions

  • resonance hums or micro-chants

Purify Yumes are not passive; even simple activation costs moderate Manu and emotional discipline.

Energy Source

Purify Yume draws from:

  • knowledge

  • clarity

  • emotional regulation

  • the user’s life force

This unique tri-source system makes Purify Yume the only known Yume that:

  • requires no Manu

  • functions in Manu-dead or sealed environments

  • operates even when the user is physically weak

Its resilience is what once made Purify users the backbone of pre-Calamity medical divisions.

Advantages

  • Stabilizes other Yume types, making Purify users essential in mixed-team operations

  • Neutralizes dangerous anomalies without destroying the environment

  • Restorative without being invasive — corrects issues without overwriting identity

  • Protective effect: reduces the risk of Kilpa in other users

  • High strategic value for post-conflict cleanup and contamination zones

Weaknesses

  • High emotional strain — users must maintain internal balance

  • Heavy Manu drain at higher ranks

  • Cannot restore physical injuries (not a healing Yume)

  • Corrupted targets may resist purification, requiring prolonged exposure

  • Risk of recoil contamination if the user overextends

  • Cannot heal wounds inflicted directly by other Yumes

  • Unable to restore lifespan

  • Are not able to reconstruct dead tissue once Manu-rot sets in

  • Correct “echo damage”, caused by chaotic void exposure

Prolonged overuse may lead to:

  • Reverse Yume-overuse symptoms
    • blindness
    • nerve death
    • numb limbs
    • lost senses
    • sensory fatigue
  • emotional dulling

  • temporary memory fog

  • Purification Burn (classified condition)

Subtype Formation

Purify Yumes rarely branch, but when they do, subtypes fall into serveral categories:

\^\ Sanctify Subtype:

Enhances protection; creates anti-corruption zones or shields.

\^\ Reverberate Subtype:

Amplifies user’s purity waves over distance; used for crowd-level anomaly suppression.

\^\ Soul Balm Subtype:

Focuses on emotional-cognitive repair; extremely rare and highly regulated.

\^\ Clarity Subtype:

Purification of mental states: easing panic, clearing hallucinations, stabilizing fractured consciousness

\^\ Aegis Subtype:

Creates temporary, life-shield barriers at severe life cost. (More powerful)

\^\ Resonance Subtype:

Synchronizes user and patient pulses, enabling shared stamina or emotional stabilization. (Corruption)

\^\ Vitality Subtype:

Rare mutation allowing temporary amplification of another Yume user’s power at catastrophic personal cost. (Molecular modifications)

Subtypes are generally stable but require extensive training and psychological screening.

Some subtypes are exceptionally dangerous, and many archives classify them as restricted.

Rank Classification (F–SSS+)

Purify ranks are based on field size, contamination strength, and correction efficiency:

F–E:
Small object purifications; cleans light mana residue.
Basic wound closure; toxin neutralization

D–C:
Corrects personal contamination; stabilizes minor anomalies.
Multi-target healing; environment cleansing

B–A:
Creates controlled fields; cleans multi-user contamination zones.
Long-distance linking; structural modification

S:
Neutralizes heavy corruption; suppresses Kilpa-adjacent distortions.
Calamity stabilization; field purification

SS:
Region-level cleansing; stabilizes unstable Yume phenomena.
Mass healing; MildLarge-scale contamination reversal

SSS:
Large-scale environmental purification with near-total correction efficiency.
Lifespan-transfer grade; forbidden in most jurisdictions

SSS+:
Reality-level purification affecting multiple systems simultaneously; extremely dangerous, near-mythical.
Mythic-level purification recorded only in early-era legends

Notable Example Cases

  • Minor Purification (E):
Removing mana residue from ancient artifacts.

  • Field Cleanse (C):
Stabilizing a contaminated campsite after a Game Yume rupture.

  • Thread Correction (A):
Repairing emotional-thread damage after Kilpa exposure.

  • Anomaly Collapse (S):
Erasing aggressive mana distortions before they trigger chain failure.

  • Zone Purification (SS):
Clearing a corrupted valley after catastrophic Yume misuse.

Operational Notes

  • Purify Yumes are assigned to medical, investigation, and stabilization teams

  • All purification above Rank B requires supervision

  • Users must complete emotional integrity evaluations quarterly

  • Purification recoil risks must be logged and monitored

  • Unauthorized large-scale cleansing is a R.D.M.M.R.W. Level-2 violation

Cultural & Historical Context

Purify Yume carries deep cultural weight; IT is one of the oldest recorded Yume types, with references appearing in:

  • early spiritual orders used purification rituals to protect settlements

  • ancient texts describe “Cleansers” who preserved stability during Yume wars

  • several societies treat Purify Yume as a ritualistic sacred role

  • myths speak of individuals who “washed the world clean” after catastrophic events

Historically, Purify users were revered as:

  • guardians

  • healers

  • sacrificial anchors during crises

Across eras, Purify Yume symbolizes balance, renewal, and the quiet labor needed to preserve harmony after chaos.

In some regions, Purify Yume bearers were feared rather than worshipped — labeled as “living hourglasses,” their dwindling lifespans seen as curse-markings of the universe.

The duality of healer and martyr persists culturally even now.

Conclusion

Purify Yume stands as a critical stabilizing force within Yume ecosystems. It is not merley just a power, it's a covenant between the user and the fragile systems that sustain life.

More restorative than offensive, and more corrective than destructive, it ensures the safety and continuity of environments destabilized by extreme power use.

Its effectiveness relies not on raw might, but on discipline, composure, and meticulous control, proving that restoration is as vital as combat.

Its existence reframes healing as sacrifice, logic as compassion, and knowledge as power. Every action becomes a deliberate choice between survival and salvation.

For these reasons, Purify Yume is regarded not as a gift…
but as a responsibility.

A Purify Yume user does not simply cleanse —
they rebuild the conditions in which others can stand.

Notes:

GLOSSARY

Purify Yume:
A rare healing-oriented Yume, driven by knowledge rather than Manu. Grants restorative, toxin-cleansing, and enhancement abilities at the cost of the user’s lifespan.

Lifespan Meter:
A revelation shown to the user upon awakening Purify Yume. A silent countdown only they can see, dictating how much time they have left to spend on others—or keep for themselves.

Calamity Soothing:
A passive aura emitted by Purify users. Stabilizes environments, dampens chaos, and eases emotional turbulence within its radius.

Long-Distance Link:
A bond created between a Purify user and another individual. Allows healing from afar, provided the connection remains intact.

Limit of Purification:
Purify Yume cannot fix wounds made by other Yumes, nor reverse damage caused by Yume overuse (blindness, numbness, sense loss).

Knowledge-Fuel:
The core requirement for Purify activation. Users with stronger theoretical understanding, emotional intelligence, and logical clarity perform exponentially better.

Chapter 7: Balance Yume

Summary:

Balance Yume.

A Yume that defines if this world can exist or not.
Time will tell if the two can collaborate in harmony or if their difference's in their own core will cause a rupture in fate.

XD will continue to observe from the skies and the heavens below him will judge said action.

PVC doesn't know this file exist, so how is it in it's archive? Who is to blame? Who among us workers is playing as a sheep?

Lies and heavy truths will surface in an uproar when needed, scream and pledge your soul for forgiveness as the human who is in fact a wolf will dawn upon this world.

Notes:

Okay, uh, Just as Cil said, he won't be commenting that much anymore but read end notes.

CHAPTER 7 — BALANCE YUME

File ID: ET-4901-BY
Access Level: 04 — Internal
Circulation: Restricted
Origin: Player Versatile Commission (PVC)
Division: R.D.M.M.R.W. — Conceptual Systems Analysis
Status: Declassified (Limited Release)
Compiler: UNKNOWN
Primary Writer: ?????
Co-Writer: ?????????

SECTION I — DEFINING THE BALANCE YUME

Balance Yume represents one of the oldest and most enigmatic Yume classifications. It does not operate as a conventional ability; rather, it is a conceptual force, rooted in DreamXD’s original design of existence.

Balance Yume stands at the midpoint between opposing systems — not Life, not Death, not Law, not Chaos. It maintains equilibrium, correcting distortions across metaphysical, emotional, environmental, and Yume-based scales.

Where most Yumes act upon the world, Balance Yume acts through the world, interacting with underlying code, universal logic, and structural symmetry.

This type does not stem from personal power or external training.

It is a designation.

A mantle.

And for most documented carriers… a burden.

SECTION II — RARITY & REQUIREMENTS

Balance Yume is nearly unattainable through ordinary means. Activation cannot be forced or coaxed; it appears only when:

  • The universal system destabilizes
  • A fracture in reality requires correction
  • A user’s soul aligns between extremes
  • The Yume ecosystem enters imbalance

 Activation Probability

Unlike other Yumes, Balance Yume has no measurable percentage. Records Scrolls show:

  •  0.002% spontaneous manifestation
  • 0.001% transference during existential anomalies
  • 0.0004% hereditary echo (unconfirmed)

Balance Yume is not “awakened.”

It is assigned by systemic necessity.

Prerequisite Traits

Carriers exhibit:

  • Strong duality (logic + emotion, courage + caution)
  • Inner equilibrium
  • Conceptual clarity
  • Unusual resistance to corruption
  • A mind that adapts faster than it fractures
  • A soul that stands outside binary alignment

Balance Yume seems to choose those who walk between worlds rather than belonging entirely to one.

SECTION III — CORE CAPABILITIES

Unlike element-based or manipulation powers, Balance Yume expresses through blessings, conceptual adjustment, stabilizing forces, and system corrections.

1. Conceptual Recalibration

The user can adjust the “concept” of something rather than its physical form. Examples include:

  • Restoring emotional symmetry in chaotic individuals
  • Adjusting a situation’s “fairness”
  • Smoothing paradoxes
  • Rebalancing broken relationships, motives, or outcomes
  • Neutralizing extremes (too much fear, too much rage, too much luck, etc.)

Recalibration acts invisibly, subtly, and with long-term effects.

2. Blessings

Balance Yume can bestow conceptual “blessings” tied to equilibrium:

  • Calm in moments of crisis
  • Clarity during confusion
  • Resistance to corruption
  • Temporary amplification of another’s rationality
  • Support during moral conflict

Blessings are not spells — they are adjustments to a person’s state.

3. System Correction

Balance Yume can correct faults in the universal structure, such as:

  • Loops
  • Maddening noise
  • Corrupted code
  • Time irregularities
  • Spatial inconsistencies
  • Reality “wobble points”
  • Large-scale corrections require intense strain.

4. Creation & Manifestation

Unlike Life Yume (which creates life) or Game Yume (which creates logic), Balance Yume creates stability anchors, including:

  • Conceptual platforms
  • Resonance points
  • Anchor sigils
  • Equilibrium seals
  • Temporary laws that enforce stability

These anchors keep unstable regions from collapsing.

5. Equilibrium Fields

Fields that stabilize all systems within them:

  • Lowers emotional extremes
  • Prevents corruption
  • Suppresses chaotic Yume activity
  • Evens out power imbalances
  • Halts destructive feedback loops

6. Duality Manipulation

The user can influence opposing forces simultaneously:

  • Chaos vs Order
  • Emotion vs Logic
  • Action vs Rest
  • Risk vs Safety

This often manifests subconsciously — Balance Yume users naturally affect those around them.

SECTION IV — LIMITATIONS & COSTS

Balance Yume is not a combat Yume and cannot:

Heal physical injuries

Generate offensive attacks

Create matter

Manipulate elements

Control minds

Instability Cost

Using Balance Yume disrupts the carrier’s internal equilibrium. Overuse results in:

  1. Emotional numbness
  2. Identity dissociation
  3. Systemic exhaustion
  4. Conceptual “bleed” (taking on traits they corrected)
  5. Temporary blindness or cognitive fog
  6. Loss of ability to perceive extremes

Balance Collapse

If a user becomes too aligned with one end of any spectrum (rage, despair, obsession), the Yume retracts violently — causing:

  • System shock
  • Thread severance
  • Temporary Yume lockout
  • Hallucinations from system rebalance

Rare cases: consciousness fracture

SECTION V — SUBTYPE CATEGORIES

Balance Yume rarely forms subtypes, but when it does, they represent specific equilibrium mechanisms:

Nexus Subtype

Balances multiple users simultaneously.

Acts like a stabilizing hub.

Lattice Subtype

Creates structured equilibrium grids.

Used in large-scale anomaly suppression.

Echo Subtype

Reflects opposing forces back into balance.

Often manifests emotionally.

Anchor Subtype

Users become walking equilibrium points — stabilizing environments simply by existing.

Parity Subtype

Corrects probability and outcomes, enforcing “fairness.”

Extremely rare and highly regulated.

SECTION VI — RANK CLASSIFICATION (SSS)

UNKNOWN

SECTION VII — HISTORICAL & CULTURAL CONTEXT

Balance Yume predates most known Yume classes. Oldest records describe “Mediators” sent by DreamXD to maintain stability between worlds and prevent existential decay.

Across cultures, Balance Yume carriers vary between:

× honored mediators

× feared arbiters

× reluctant peacekeepers

× lonely anchors holding fractured spaces together

Some societies viewed them as omens of approaching collapse.

Others saw them as safeguards granted by XD’s design.

Balance Yume symbolizes:

∆ restoration

∆ fairness

∆ inner equilibrium

∆ the invisible labor of maintaining harmony

Where other Yumes create or destroy, Balance Yume maintains the conditions that allow existence to continue.

SECTION VIII — CONCLUSION

Balance Yume is not a power of force, healing, or destruction —

it is the architecture of equilibrium itself.

It works quietly, subtly, and conceptually, shaping the world not through might but through correction.

Carriers do not simply use the Yume.

They embody it.

They become the fulcrum upon which systems rest — those who hold the world steady while others tear it apart or rebuild it.

Balance Yume is not a blessing nor a curse.

It is a position in the universal design.

A reminder that harmony is not natural —

it is maintained.
