Harry kissed Louis's head gently, breathing in his scent of cinnamon and vanilla, and spoke softly, as if sharing a secret with the fire.
“Me too,” murmured the curly-haired man. “Especially because it was the day the Moon blessed us again... and this time, with the birth of your beautiful mother.”
Louis let out an embarrassed laugh and looked down.
The little girl looked up, surprised.
“Is that why it's so special?” she asked. “Because Mom was born on that day?”
“Yes,” Harry replied, resting his forehead on Louis's temple. “That's why the pack says the Moon Goddess left a little piece of her light in him.”
