Chapter Text
Standing in the middle of the park wasn't in their plans for the day; they had originally planned to meet up at the movie theater down the street, but Ness had forgotten to bring his wallet. So they had to make a detour to the park where Noa was hanging out with his friends; it was rather irritating to Sae, but nothing truly bothersome.
It was just a headache overall; Kaiser had already lectured Ness the whole way over. Sae could feel it turning into a migraine, which was amplified by the loud truck pulling up to the sidewalk. The lifted truck was a nuisance as is, with its blaring music, and the custom red-and-pink wrap was unreasonably disruptive. Kaiser and he both gritted their teeth as they saw the truck stop just a bit down the road.
Sae would only stop when he could see the driver getting out. The guy seemed to be around their age, yet he had never seen him at school. He knew that a boy with that nice of a tan would never be out of his mind. The boy seemed to be wearing just a white tank top and some of the nicest jeans. Everything seemed to become blank around him as he focused on how his ass looked in those jeans.
He'd only been brought out of his train of thought as he saw the guy pull out a baby carrier before he'd sling a diaper bag over his shoulder. Slamming the truck door behind him. The boy was finally facing him, and thankfully not looking at him, cause he definitely looked like a creep. Sae couldn't help but save the guy's face in the back of his mind as he watched him walk through the park.
I mean, Sae could dream about getting with a man like that, but he seems like he was an old-fashioned guy. Watching how the tanned-skinned man carried himself as he made his way over to where the group of four sat, not including Ness, who was talking to his father. Lavinho greeted the man, and so did Loki. The blonde seemed to hand the baby carrier over to Loki, smiling as he also set the diaper bag down.
The thud of the diaper bag shaking the table seemed to wake the young baby, causing everyone to groan as Charles was by no means an easy baby.
" Shit-, sorry.. " The boy would say as he turned the baby carrier to face him so he could try to comfort the baby.
" He slept the whole ride over here, I'm taking it? " Loki would question as he rifled through the bag, searching for a bottle.
" Yeah, really likes going for rides! " He'd answer as he moved to unfasten the buckles before finally pulling the little one out, whose crying stopped as he was raised from the carrier.
" Alright, hand him over, Shidou. " Loki would say as he handed the bag over to Lavinho so he could take the baby off his hands.
The blonde would give over the little ball of joy, but the joy seemed to fade from the baby as he realized Shidou was no longer going to hold him. Loki could only try to shush the baby's cries as he saw how attached Charles had become to Shidou
Sae's eavesdropping would be interrupted as Ness had made his way back.
" Finally! God, let's get going, we probably already missed the opening! " Kaiser hissed out as he stood up, it was only met with quietly muttered apologies from Ness as he moved to follow behind. Sae held a groan as he got up, frustrated as he finally took his eyes off the tan beauty in front of him.
He knew he'd find him again.
