“Shara open up.”
The massive everwyrm cocked her head to the side, questioning, maybe curious. Her ever-watching gaze followed you as it always did, the air vibrating with a soft hum, as she sang quietly, just loud enough to truly see you. You could feel the thrum of her song in your bones, a sensation that used to scare you, but now was a comfort.
Could she see your exhaustion? The weariness that dragged your body down to the earth? Could she feel the bags under your eyes, hear the cloying garbage noise in your mind?
You didn’t know, but your request remained unchanged.
“Please, let me in.”
Understanding, she let out a low rumble, (perhaps it was a soft chuckle,) as she lowered her head down to your level, and opened her massive jaws wide. The warmth of her breath puffed over your small little body, as you gazed down the deep violet abyss.
Without another word, you climbed inside.
Leathery, yet still soft. Your hands sunk into the muscle, smothering your face into it, as you were carefully lifted up and past her teeth. Her hot breath enveloped your body.
The first time you’d been here, you'd been afraid. The everwyrm had held you in her mouth, teeth pressed against your armour, threatening to bite you in half.
But now, as you laid splayed out across her massive tongue, armourless, you felt no fear as her jaws closed behind you. Utterly powerless and helpless, and safe.
Her tongue flexed beneath you, cradling you, gently pressing you against the roof of her mouth. You gave no fight as she tenderly tasted you, taking care to not press too hard, smothering but never crushing.
The space rumbled with a soft hum, enjoying the taste of you, as your exhaustion melted in her mouth.
You don't know how long you laid there, vaguely aware of her carefully moving her tongue around you, but for a brief moment, awareness returned, as you felt her head tilt. She stopped, before you could slide in deeper, hesitating, waiting, a soft song of inquiry rumbling through your bones.
Your fingers twitched, barely squeezing the large muscle holding your body, but it had been deliberate, just enough.
Feeling to no protest, her head tilted back further, as her tongue gently guided you to her throat.
There was no resistance as you slid down her throat with ease, small enough that peristalsis was barely needed to aid your descent deeper into her body.
It wasn't long before your body slipped into her stomach without ceremony, the walls cushioning your entrance. You moved, only slightly, to comfortably tuck yourself between the folds, as the sound of her massive heartbeat filled the space.
So small, you likely didn't satiate her at all. Your little body was nothing but a crumb in her guts, utterly helpless against whatever she wanted. No armour to save yourself, no blade to cut yourself free. Too deep beneath thick scales to be heard or seen. Utterly helpless and at her mercy.
The sound of her song joined the rhythm of her heartbeat, reverberating deep into your body, as she sang solely for you. To feel you, hear you, see you concealed deep inside of her.
Tucked away inside her massive and powerful body, you’d never felt safer, her warmth smothering you. Whatever might want to hurt you would have to fight an elder dragon to get you, and you knew she’d protect you. That you could finally rest.
You'd never harm her again, and neither would she you.
Exhaustion melting away in the heat of the stomach, you fell asleep in your monster's guts, relinquishing your role as the hunter to be her prey. The safest place.
