“Here. Drink this.” Rob’s voice violently jerks Simon from his thoughts, and he turns to find a bottle of unnaturally blue liquid being pressed into his hand. “Not supposed to, but we keep some on-hand for emergencies.”
Simon doesn’t close his hand, refusing to take it. “Don’t waste that on me,” he rasps, mouth dry. “Look at me. I’m not even human anymore.”
Rob shrugs. “Human or not, throwing up sucks. Drink it.”
