The World:
Humans and monsters exist in the same reality.
Most people live separate lives, with different schools, communities and cities built to accommodate different species. In larger cities, portal systems connect the human world to monster cities around the globe.
Most civilians never interact with these systems.
But someone has to protect them.
The Guardians:
The guardians are an international organization responsible for protecting the balance between worlds.
Their responsibilities include:
- monitoring portal systems
- preventing inter dimensional threats
- protecting both human and monster populations
Guardians operate outside normal law enforcement structures and are trained for situations most people will never even hear about.
Guardians also receive their own personalized and specialized weapon around the age of 16, this is decided by the commander of the base and mentors of the young guardians.
Young guardians train while attending normal schools, balancing two lives at once.
Most Guardians grow up in Guardian families and begin training at a young age. However some join at an older age, that is very rare as Guardians are a secret organization. Most of those who join at an older age usually either finds out about the organization through a guardian partner or friend.

The Gorgon Family:
Deuce Gorgon
16 years
Half human, half Gorgon
Fast. Agile. Impulsive.
Known for improvising instead of following strict plans, struggles under the Guardian system.
Loud, sarcastic, bit of a show-off, but really loving and protective of his closest ones.
Is tired of constantly being compared with Madison, at school, home and in the Guardian system.
Due to his half human, half gorgon status, he can shift between his Gorgon form with snakes for hair and petrifying eyes to a human form. His human form has brown hair and same green eyes.
Madison Gorgon
16 years.
Deuce´s twin sister, 5 minutes older.
Half human, half Gorgon.
Observant, disciplined, and extremely detail-oriented.
Often the most reliable person in the room.
Known for keeping the team organized.
Protective of her closest ones. Loves her brother very much even if he can be a handful.
Where Deuce struggles under the Guardian system, Madison is more naturally suited to that structure and strategy.
Due to her half human, half gorgon status, she can shift between her Gorgon form with snakes for hair and petrifying eyes to a human form. Her human form has brown hair and same green eyes.
Medusa Gorgon
Mother of Deuce and Madison.
Experienced Guardian, from a greek Guardian family.
Protective, fierce, and deeply devoted to her family.
Known for taking threats personally when they involve her children.
Does struggle with Deuce´s impulsive nature compared to Madison´s discipline.
Matthew Gorgon
Father of Deuce and Madison.
Experienced Guardian.
Calm, thoughtful, and observant.
Believes his children have very different strengths.
Often the one who understands Deuce the best in the family
The Wolf Family:
Clawd Wolf
17 years old.
Calm, steady, and physically one of the strongest members on the team.
Often acts as the stabilizing presence when things get chaotic.
Loyal to his family and team, protective of his close ones.
Clawdeen Wolf
16 years old.
Fiercely loyal and protective of the people she cares about.
Relies heavily on instinct in combat situations.
Stronger than the other girls, and fast.
Not afraid to challenge authority when necessary.
Clawrk Wolf
Experienced guardian and father of the Wolf siblings.
Known for strength, loyalty, and for being very practical.
Fiercely protective of his family.
Harriet Wolf
Experienced guardian and mother of the Wolf siblings.
Strong, direct and deeply protective of her children.
Howleen Wolf
Youngest Wolf sibling
Does have training sessions at the guardian base in New Salem, but is unsure if this is what she wants with her life.
Clawdia Wolf
Older sister of Clawd and Clawdeen
Decided that she wanted to pursue something different in life and left the Guardian system.
Pawlsey Wolf
Oldest Wolf sibling.
Guardian currently serving in another unit at the New Salem base.
Known for being disciplined and reliable.
Harrison Wolf
Second oldest Wolf sibling.
Guardian, serving in the same unit as Pawsley.
Confident, physically strong, and highly capable in combat.
The Stein family
Frankie Stein
Youngest of the group.
Technology specialist of the group.
Curious, enthusiastic, and extremely intelligent.
Fascinated by energy systems and experimental technology.
Works closely with Jackson on analyzing unusual systems.
Victor Stein
Father of Frankie.
Scientist and guardian researcher.
Specializes in advanced technology, energy systems, and experimental guardian equipment.
Responsible for analyzing unknown technologies and dimensional systems.
Viveka Stein
Mother of Frankie.
Scientist and technology specialist.
Works closely with Victor on guardian research and development. Her and Victor helps designing and creating weapons for guardians.
Highly skilled in engineering and system analysis.
The Jekyll and Hyde Family
Scarlett Jekyll
Mother of Jackson and Holt.
A highly respected strategist within the Guardian organization.
Known for her analytical thinking and ability to see patterns others miss.
Often involved in mission planning and intelligence analysis.
Jackson Jekyll
16 years old.
Quiet, analytical, and highly intelligent.
Originally shared a body with Holt Hyde, but after a scientific breakthrough by Victor Stein, Viveka Stein and Scarlett Jekyll, the two were successfully separated and lives as brothers.
His focus is on strategy, analysis, and technology.
Holt Hyde
16 years old.
Jackson´s former alternate personality, now existing as his own person.
Loud, impulsive, chaotic, and far more comfortable in combat situations.
Possess powerful sound-based abilities.
Known for bringing chaos and energy wherever he goes.
Was unenrolled from Monster High after the separation with Jackson to avoid explanation of how they were separated. Been «homeschooled» at the guardian base since.

Alaric Bloodgood
Commander of the Guardian Zone around New Salem.
Responsible for overseeing the base and its operations.
Known for being calm, analytical, and extremely disciplined.
Makes decisions based on logic, rather than emotion.
Often makes difficult decisions for the sake of long-term stability.
Rarely raises his voice, but when he speaks people listen.
Older brother of Monster High´s Headmistress Bloodgood.
Kade
Young adult Guardian stationed at the base.
Known for getting information through unusual channels.
Often bends rules if it gets results.
Quietly protective of the younger guardians.
Acts as an unofficial mentor to the younger unit.
Especially close to Deuce, whom he treats like a little brother.
