Chapter Text
"Mmmmmmmm ok. So, yeah. That's stronger than it has been. Mari lets go hang out on the couch ok? Pops needs to lay down."
Eddie comes in a little while later. "Da!"
"Hi sweet girl, I missed you. Where's your Pops?"
"I’m on the couch. Eds, I don't think we are making it to the party tonight. "
Eddie puts Mari in her playpen and crouches down next to the sofa. "When did it start?"
"Similar to last time. Restless all night. Lost my plug a little while ago. And these are a lot stronger than my braxton hicks have been."
"Ok let me see if you've dilated at all." He checks. "A little. Maybe a centimeter or two. I'd say we still have some time. You sure you want to do this here? If you're going to change your mind, now's the time to tell me."
"Unless things go wrong, I want you to deliver me again. We did this together once. We can do it again. Call Hen. Oooooooooohhhhhhkkkk. The kids need to go to Bobby's. I don't want them here for this."
"I just texted him and Hen. I'm going to put the pads on the bed and get the bathroom ready, you good here for a few minutes?"
"Yeah. I want Mama tho. She's staying right?"
"Yeah, that's the plan. The grandpas handle the littles and Athena comes here. And Hen will assist me with anything I need. You're gonna feel a lot more this time, your mind isn't on a fire."
"Yeah I know. I'm trying to command in my head. I'm going over the apartment collapse."
"Alright. I'll leave you to that for a little bit while I get some stuff prepped. Yell for me if you need something."
Group text from Athena: party postponed on account of buckley-diaz baby birth. Reschedule date tbd .
Bobby: This is a much better way to celebrate than a party in my humble opinion. I can't wait to meet my third grandkid. I love you, Buck and Eddie. - Bobby Nash
Maddie: Good luck Evan, ILU!
Chim: Cant wait to meet her baby bro!
Ramon: I agree with Bobby.
Ravi: Kick ass!
May: 118 baby for the win! You're gonna do great Buck!
Karen: Hens on her way, can't wait to see pictures! Love you two!
"Hey, we are here."
"Mama? I'm on the couch."
"Hey baby. How are we doing?"
"It’s still early. Mari’s in her playpen, Chris might still be asleep. I haven't seen him yet this morning."
"Ok, we’ll get him up. Hi sweet girl. You're already going to be a big sister. What do you think of that, huh?'
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph ok that hurts, yep these are real. Not fake. Definitely not fake."
"How close are they, Buck?"
"Not very, that was about 10 minutes." Eddie says, coming out of the bedroom. I just grabbed the stopwatch so we will start timing them now. Hen should be here any minute. Is Chris even awake?"
"Bobby just went to check."
"Ok. I hadn't gotten that far. Oh, good morning bud. We are having a little excitement today."
"Baby time?"
"Baby time. So you and Mari are going to go with GPops and hang out with him and Abuelo for the day. I need you to pack a bag for the next few days. Quickly. Athena, can you hang with Buck for a few minutes while I get Mari’s stuff together?"
"Yep, we are all good here."
"Thanks. Here's the watch."
“Ok. Bobby, here's everything you should need for a few days. Oh. Diapers."
"We have plenty. I just bought a new box to be ready for this. We have all her favorite foods, so we are good to go. GKid, about ready?"
"Almost, be there in a sec."
"Oooooooooohhhhhhkkkkk I’m gonna start cussing soon and I really don’t want Mari to latch on to these words yet. "
"That was 9:35."
"Chris, buddy, you've got 5 minutes before we need to get Mari out of here." Eddie calls down the hall.
"Let me say goodbye to my girl." Bobby lowers her down. "Pops loves you so much. You be good for GPops and Abuelo, ok? Have fun and I'll see you in a few days. "
"Ok, I’m ready." He hugs Buck goodbye. "Good luck Pops. I love you."
"Love you too. Take care of your sister. And be good for the grandpas."
"I will. Bye dad. Love you!"
"Love you too. I'll keep you guys posted."
The door shuts just in time. "Jeeeeeeeeeeeesuses mother fucking Christ." I need not be laying down right now. I need to stand up or rock or something. I need to move.”
"We can do that. I want to check you first real quick before you get up though....you’ve progressed a little, about 3." Eddie helps him stand, then pulls Buck’s arms up around his neck and puts his hands on his lower back and slowly they rock together. "Any better?"
"Yeah. Thanks. I did this walking around in turnouts last time, I don’t know why I thought laying down was a good idea."
"Hmmm, yeah, you need to move. We can stand, walk, whatever you need. But let’s get your mind working. Tell me about the collapse. What you were seeing, thinking, how you did it? What happens in Captain Buckley's brain in an emergency?"
“You really want to hear all of this?”
“I really do. I’ve been wanting to ask for awhile. And it will help you keep your mind elsewhere. Let’s go through the call.”
“OK. Let’s do it. There was a moment, as we were offloading our victim into triage...I can't tell you what I saw, what I noticed. I looked back at the building and something told me to go to the truck for equipment. So I told Ravi, hey, we need airbags for that block of stone. And we were almost there when we heard the pop. I knew then, I must have seen some pocket, or some crack, something that had told me there was a flaw and we needed to get the hell out. If I had recognized it sooner I could have talked to the IC, told her to call evac, warned triage to move, but I couldn't put my finger on it. All I knew was that Ravi and I had to get the hell out of the area. We got behind the truck and it all came down. Fuck, hold on." He moans into Eddie’s shoulder. Eddie presses on his back, giving some counter pressure.
"Athena, time?"
"9 min 20 seconds."
"Ravi and I came out from behind the truck, which was totaled. Blocked a wall of debris, you saw it. And it was a ghost town. There was nobody, just dust. Command was gone, triage was gone. There were no trucks, ladders, engines. Nothing. The ground was still shaking, debris was still settling. I knew we had to start finding people fast, before they were crushed anymore than they already were. I assessed for maybe 20 seconds before I knew there was no one else on scene, so I called dispatch. We needed more crew, we had to start from scratch - so more fire rescue. We'd lost triage, so needed another set of medical and RA. We needed USAR for their radar tools. And the dogs...I didn't know that wasn't protocol, it just made sense to me. Why would you wait until people were already dead to try and find them? The dogs should be first. Free up human hands to dig where the dogs scent victims. That's about when you showed up. I had a loose grid on my mind of the scene, quadrants so we could begin searching alone until we had more people. Some came up from the ground on their own. We found a few. 10, in 12 minutes. That's when the 153 showed up. They were the first house to us. I thought Washington would take command from me, but he didn't. I just divided up his team between the quadrants and they got to work. Acosta and Tanaka started setting up the new triage further out from the zone."
"I didn't realize any of that. I wonder if that’s why Acosta’s first question to me was about field trauma."
"You didn’t know they were first on scene? They did really good work that day. They got things going again."
"They were impressed with you when they found out we were together, knew you from the collapse, but so does everyone."
"Yeah. But your crew held us together. They were rough. Inexperienced. But they did the work eagerly. And Acosta and Tanaka knew what they were doing and held the line. You should be proud. Hooooooollllly fuckingnhellllllllllllllllllllll mmmmmmmmmmmm."
"8 minutes 45."
Hen shows up then. "Hey, sorry it took so long, got caught in traffic, how are we doing?"
"The last one was 8 min 45 seconds apart. But they are only lasting maybe 20 seconds or so. I checked him about 20 min ago and he was 3 cm."
"Ok, we still have plenty of time then."
"Yep. Buck is focusing on his command. Teaching us what goes through his mind on calls like the apartment collapse. Keep going, baby."
"You guys are really happy that this is taking so long, I was hoping he’d be like his sister and appear out of nowhere. Anyway, once I had a real crew out searching, more than just the 3 of us, I felt comfortable stepping back and taking the time to do a full assessment. I set up a full gridmap - I drew some rough sketches based on some satellite pictures from my phone."
"Rough sketches my ass. Buck, those were the most thorough grid maps I've ever seen." Hen says.
"I just needed to be able to mark out where everyone was. Like we would in a standing building right? Alpha bravo, 1234. Etc. I needed a system I could easily communicate over the radio that everyone would understand without having the map in front of them. By then more companies were showing up. Dispatch did a really great job of getting teams rerouted to us, and we were able to get a serious search effort going. The dogs arrived, I split them into 4 teams, then had 6 eventually, and marked off the grid where we found people, where dispatch was getting calls from survivors, things like that. And then they found triage."
"When that dog started barking, we all looked at each other like why the hell is there a dog above us?"
"Yeahhhhooooook mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...." He exhaled heavily. "These are getting more intense."
"That was only 8 minutes. Lasted about 30 seconds."
"When we get to 7, let's check you again. Are you still ok standing like this or do you want to change it up?"
"No, I'm good like this. I heard the dog, and someone - it might have been Abbott actually, now that I think about it. Ask him for me. He radioed that there were a bunch of people in that area. There was a massive piece of concrete that was basically standing up like stonehenge and had created a pocket that you all were standing in. So once we got through to you, we were able to pull you out pretty fast. It was unbelievable that there were no serious injuries down there, besides what you were already working on."
"I know. Some cuts and scrapes, a few concussions, but nothing scary."
"And you and Chim, you popped right up and wanted to dive right back in."
"Our Cap was being a badass, we couldn't let you have all the fun."
"I wasn't your captain then."
Hen gives Eddie a look. "Buck, the moment we saw you up on that hill of debris, we all knew who our captain was. Everyone did. Chim and I didn't even need to speak, we saw you, looked at each other, and ran."
"I was so thankful you two were able to help. Acosta and Tanaka were doing a hell of a job, and so were the other medics, but they needed more hands. And I needed my medics. I needed my team if I was going to do it. The rest of it was just a matter of juggling."
"That’s the part I want to understand, babe. How you see it. How you juggle it." Eddie looks at him so fondly.
"I’m not sure I can explain it, Eds. My brain has always worked really fast. It's like I see all the details, all the time. I hear everything, I feel everything. It’s information overload a lot of the time. It’s why I get overstimulated in certain situations. But at a fire or big emergency? It’s like I can parse it all out. Slow it down and pick it out like I'm standing in front of a whiteboard - like that one movie you made me watch with Tom Cruise? Where he's moving stuff around on some sort of digital hologram? This goes here and this goes here, and I make it all fit. I know when the building is going to fall because I can see the pattern. Should I send a guy up to vent the roof or would it be better to break the window? It’s why so many times I could take off running at a risky problem and make the jump and Bobby would be screaming at me but it would work. Like...Abby’s train. I knew exactly what angle we needed to be and where I needed to make that cut, and how the car would fall if it did and when. You were all worried. I wasn't. One second.
"Fuuuuuuuuuucking jeeeeeeeeeeeesus christ on a mother FUUUUUUUCKing cracker."
"7:30."
"So it's all pattern recognition. You can see the matrix."
"Yes to the pattern recognition. I...is the second one a reference I don't understand? Because Eddie...I’m literally in labor right now, don't fuck with my head.”
Eddie laughs really really hard.
"What?! Why are you laughing at me?"
"Because. You just made a reference to Minority Report, but don't want me to reference pop culture AND you're telling us about the most complicated rescue in LAFD history. And I bet if I asked you to quote Shakespeare, you probably could. It's just...hilariously ironic. I just love you, and your brilliant mind."
Buck raises his head off Eddie’s shoulder, and cock’s his eyebrow. “Did you really just…”
“Buck, I was just joking.”
“Some glory in their birth, some in their skill,
Some in their wealth, some in their bodies’ force,
Some in their garments, though new-fangled ill,
Some in their hawks and hounds, some in their horses;
And every humour hath his adjunct pleasure,
Wherein it finds a joy above the rest:
But these particulars are not my measure;
All these I better in one general best.
Thy love is better than high birth to me,
Richer than wealth, prouder than garments’ cost,
Of more delight than hawks or horses be;
And having thee, of all men’s pride I boast:
Wretched in this alone, that thou mayst take
All this sway and me most wretched make.”
“Aaaaaand this is why we don’t challenge my husband with anything, everybody.”
“He really just fucking did that, didn’t he?” Hen takes off her glasses, pinches the bridge of her nose, and Athena is doubled over laughing.
"Anyway, it's not like I can see the future or anything. My brain just takes in all the information, even stuff I don't know that I've captured, and puts it into one big picture. Like one of those table puzzles with a bazillion pieces that doesn't make any sense when it’s in the box but is really pretty when you finish. Chris is the same way, you know. It's why he loves science and math so much. And I think it's probably why he's taken on photography too. He's picking out the details no one else can see."
"You do that too. Not just with buildings and fire but with people. You see everything, every feeling, every problem, every pain. And you pick it apart until you figure out how it works and then put it back together again."
"I don't think I ever connected those two things together. Shit coming again.” He moans a lot deeper this time. “Eddie, these are getting hard. I'm getting really tired."
"That was only 7 minutes 10. We should check him."
"Yep, Buck do you mind?" Hen asks.
"Nope, everyone here has seen it all, you've all agreed to be here for this. Help yourself."
"Ok, spread a little wider, I'm going to pull your pants down a bit. We've made some progress. You're around 6 centimeters now."
"Baby, you still thinking bath? It's probably about time to get that started."
"Yeah. Let's stick to that plan unless things for some reason slow down."
"Ok. I'll go get that running and let you know when it's ready."
"Thanks Hen."
"Ok, so that was the apartment collapse. Tell me about Mari’s fire. I was there for that too, but I want to hear it from your perspective. Because in my opinion that was just as impressive. Maybe not something you'll get a medal for, but not something just anyone can do either."
"I think that was just pure stubborn Buckness honestly. "
"Maybe, part of it. But you were focused the whole time. You ran an unshakeable call, babe. That's what I want to hear about."
"I'd had a couple of what I didn't realize were contractions at the station before we got the alarm, but again, I didn’t think that's what they were. We were the first on scene, so I made the assessment and sent Ravi and the probie up to the top to start the sweep. Bennett's team was next, sent them to 5 to split the difference. You guys came in and added hoses. Two other companies for more support, I handled it the same way I just explained the collapse. I assessed and directed traffic to where the crews were needed. Calls would come over the radio, I’d conquer that issue and move on. One thing at a time. Even when 10 things happen all at once, you just have to break them down into pieces and try not to panic. Try to figure out what makes the most logistical sense. You have limited hands on deck so you have to use them as efficiently and effectively as possible and sometimes that means getting creative. If you only have two medics, you can't send them to the same place. You send one medic one direction and another the other way, and you send a probie or someone young with them as their hands. Maybe you'll spark an interest in the paramedicine field. And sometimes, there will be a call where the victim really did need a paramedic and an EMT. But, in a big emergency, you have to split your resources." He moans again. This one lasts a lot longer. 45 seconds, maybe a minute.
"That was 5 min 55 seconds. I think you're speeding up, not slowing down, baby."
"We need to head toward the bathroom sweetheart. Can you walk?"
"Yeah, I can."
"Ok, lean on me."
They meet Hen just as she's walking out of the bedroom. "I was just about to come get you. Let's get you in this tub.” Eddie holds him upright and Hen takes down his pants, and then they both support him while he gets in. "Ok you've got water next to you, and a trash can here in case you feel sick. Some candles, and we can dim the lights if you want.”
“Maybe a little. Not all the way.”
“I’ll turn your playlist on, baby. You wanna relax or keep talking?”
"This is actually really helping me get through it. Is it ok if I keep going?"
"You’re giving us a master class on fire command while you're in labor, baby. I am enthralled. I wish I'd thought to record it. Please keep going."
Athena catches Eddie's eye and winks, and he realizes she has her phone up. His eyes get wide and she nods. She's been recording all of it for him. "Thank you." He mouths.
"So...oh wait." He puts his head down on the tub and moans again. Eddie is able to add better counterpressure now that Buck's on his knees in the tub.
“We are down to 5 min.”
"I need to change into some shorts, baby so I can come in there with you. Keep talking, I can hear you from the bedroom."
"I think I left off when I was directing the teams to their assigned roles at the beginning of the fire. That's about when my contractions started to pick up. I still didn't fully believe they were real at that point. They hurt more, but I thought it was just the stress of the call. I told myself if I just focus, push it down, it'll stop. Ravi called in that they'd found a group of survivors and were bringing them down, I told them to hit the ladder at delta 5. Radioed Hen to be ready for incoming smoke victims at triage. I got hit with more pain then. That was only a few minutes later."
Eddie comes back into the room. "And you still thought it was fake?"
"I was trying to convince myself it was. Or at the very least, that I had plenty of time and could make it through at least the worst of the fire. Things were too intense for me to go right then. I'm Evan Buckley, I don't give up. I don’t quit. And I certainly don't give birth in the middle of 5-alarm fires.”
"Except..."
"Yeah, well. It was right about then that Maddie radioed to tell me they'd received a call from someone stuck and badly injured on the 2nd floor. I had no available medics, everyone was either hands-on in triage or already in rescue."
"So I asked to go in."
"So my husband asked to go in. And I pushed down my fear, because that’s the fucking job and he's a very capable brave medic fire captain and I sent him into the burning building. MOTHER FUCKER SON A OF BITCH." He swears again and then moans, his fingers turning white against the tub where he’s holding on.
"Eddie, you should check him again, that was only 4 min. This is picking up."
"Oh yeah we are at 7, baby. You're doing so good."
"Can you come in here with me, behind me, like we usually do?"
"Of course, baby. Scootch up a little. Alright, lean back, there you go. Ok?"
"Yeah. Anyway, so you went in, and I got hit with another contraction and I tried really hard to convince myself it was NOT a contraction because you’d just disappeared into that building, but I knew. I knew then I was in trouble, I just wouldn't admit it. But the fire was calling me so I went back to work. Your team and another crew were on hoses so I was watching to make sure they were being most effective, I'd been on Hen and Chim checking in on triage. I’d just talked to Bennett about the search. And I looked back at the building to watch the fire for a minute, look for anything that stood out, and that contraction about knocked me on my ass. I had to grab onto the truck and it doubled me over. That's when I called you. Diaz Wilson Bennett. And you fucking fought with me on the radio. In front of EVERYBODY. I had to beg your ass to get to me."
"And I will never stop apologizing for that. Ever. I did not fully comprehend the level of urgency. I was trying to keep someone from bleeding out. With fire burning around him."
"I know. I know that. I cried your name and another contraction hit and my water broke. Hen showed up in the middle of that contraction. Bennett I think was right in her tail, I don't remember a whole lot about this part, I was in a LOT of pain. "
"You were transitioning most likely, and it was happening really fast. Bennett made a smart remark about she had to stop working with you, because the last time she did, was when you passed out and she had to take over IC."
"Oh god, and she saw me puke too. Before I knew I was pregnant this time. I owe that woman so many beerssssss mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm oh god. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Ed-die….Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…"
"Breathe baby."
"Oh wow. Wow, that was really big."
"Yeah it was. Athena?"
“3 minutes.”
"This is about where you were at the part of the story we are talking about now. Why don't you get up on your knees, Buck. Give that baby a little room to drop." Hen tells him.
"Ok. Ok, Eddie, gonna need some help."
"Yep. I've got you."
"So Bennett made fun of me, then what?"
"I asked her to take command of the scene so I could help you. I asked if you could walk to the ambo, you tried to take a step and said nope, you weren't going anywhere, so I called Chim for the gurney. You were begging for Eddie at that point so I screamed at him on the radio and told him to get his ass out or we were leaving without him."
“Oh she was NOT nice about it either. Acosta had just got to me and I was SPRINTING. I got there as Chim got the gurney to you, we loaded you up and got you to the ambo. And Mari was not waiting. You told me you could not do it. You were supposed to be in the hospital with me and your mama, but that you had to push and you couldn't stop, so I was trying to close the ambo doors so I could get your turnouts off. And who stopped me but..."
"Me. I'd been sprinting across the scene myself. I knew as soon as you called for Eddie what was happening and I went running."
"I didn't even know you were on the scene. But yeah she didn't wait. I could feel her."
"Yeah as soon as I got your turnouts and pants off she was right there. She was already crowning. It only took you a few real pushes before she was born."
"Ok, ok...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."
"Breathe honey. You've got this."
This one is hard and long and deep. It has its hold on Buck for a long time. “Mother fucker. How do those women on YouTube stay so fucking zen? This really fucking HURTS. Also I think my water just broke."
Hen reaches in to check. "Ok, let's see where you're at....damn you are SO fast. You're at 9. So you'll be pushing soon, Buck. Almost there."
"That was only 2 minutes, and it lasted about 75 seconds."
"I don't know what else to talk about. What else do you want to know about my very questionable genius?"
Eddie doesn't hesitate. "Tell me about mammoths." He hadn't planned on talking about the fires, but he MAY have thought up a few subjects for Buck to ramble on while he labored to keep his mind occupied.
"Mammoths?" Hen makes a face.
"Mammoths, Buck."
"Ok, so mammoths were everywhere - on every continent except Australia and South America. Most of them died out 10,000 years ago, but there were some still around in the Arctic until like the mid 1600s BC. That’s AFTER the pyramids were built. It’s really debated on why they died. A lot of people think they were hunted by us, but they were really dangerous to hunt, so maybe not. It was more likely climate change. Their grasslands died out and were replaced by forests, and there was a study done in 2016 that suggests they didn’t have enough drinking water. We probably only started hunting them after they had already begun their population decline.
"Oh shit. Mammoths?" Hen's mouth is open, and Eddie's just grinning like a lovesick fool.
“Oh shit oh shit Oh shit. Fuuuuuuuuuucking Fuuuuuuuuuucking Fuuuuuuuuuucking jeeeeeeeeeeeesus mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm God dammit. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm fuck mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Eddie Eddie it hurts it hurts.”
"I know baby, you gotta breathe.”
"Fuck the breathing I don't remember it hurting like this before. Fuck this fucking shit."
“Ok we are down to 1 minute now.”
“Mammoths…fuck I don't remember shit about fucking mammoths anymore.”
“Oh hell not another one. Oh god. Eddie. Eddie help." He grasps onto Eddie's hand for dear life and moans. “Fucking shithole piece of shit. Eddie, you need to check me because I felt like I needed to push that time.
"Ok baby, let me see. Oh, yep. You're fully dilated baby, so you can push when you're ready. Auntie Hen, you have the kit ready?"
"It’s all right here."
"You can do this, baby. We've got you."
"Ok. Ok, here it comes.” He bears down until it releases and he pants.
"Relax for a second. You're doing so good, baby."
“Ok…it’s back.” He’s trying so hard to breathe through it but god this is harder than he remembers it being.
"You're so strong, Evan. I’m so proud of you. Push baby. Let’s meet our son. Come on. Again.”
“Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Fuuuuuuuuuucking hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll oh god. Eddie I can feel him, he's close." He reaches down. Yeah his head is...I can feel it.”
"Ok lets get a few more really good pushes. He's almost here, baby. Come on.”
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu oh shit oh shit that hurts that hurts that hurts that hurts."
"Oh baby you're in the ring of fire. One big push and his head will be out.”
He legitimately screams this time.
"His head is out, baby. Gimme one more. Let's meet our baby boy. Next contraction. One, two, three.”
Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ahhhhhhhhh oh my god oh my god Eddie you have him?"
"I’ve got him. I've got him. Here he is sweetheart. Hen the clips? Thanks. Ok, cord’s cut, baby. Come sit back against me. Oh hi there Little Man. Welcome to the world.”
"Mmm Hen the placenta is coming, I think... ooooooof."
"Yep, there it is. Good, looks intact. No excess bleeding. I'll do an exam on you when we get you out, but we'll give you a few minutes alone."
"Thanks Hen. Mama." The women look at him sweetly, then leave the room.
"Eddie, we never picked a name. We can't call him Little Man forever."
"No, but we have a few days before we have to file the birth certificate. Let's get to know him. He's been a little slower to introduce himself to us than Mari was. Maybe he just needs more time."
Buck looks into the big dark eyes blinking at the bright loud world - quiet, but a wrinkle on his brow like he's frustrated with his new situation. “Oh. Oh this one, sweetheart. This one is all you."
