Summary
Kryptonians are not human. It’s easy to forget, even for Clark. That being an alien means more than his powers. There are traits rooted into the DNA, coming out in the subconscious, until not even Clark notices. Kryptonians, among other things, build Bowers for their mates, beautiful homes to settle into. It’s more than a tradition, it’s a way of life.
When Clark begins to redecorate, he doesn't know why it matters so much to him. And why it matters even more when Bruce doesn’t even care. -

“No, you don’t understand,” Wayne cut in, gesturing back at the abandoned warehouse at the edge of the taped-off scene. “These–kidnapping attempts–always start out the same way. Remove the clothes. Jim tuned out his rant slightly, examining the small bats on Wayne’s boxers. Ignoring the fact that no underwear was meant to be worn that tight, the tiny decorations were almost…familiar.
“–well, guess what, kidnappers?” Wayne punctuated his point with a jab of his hand, gesturing at his underwear. “I don’t feel powerless. My personality is right here–-”

Summary
“You’d marry Bruce Wayne?” Hal looked at Clark like he had grown a second head. “Of all the options, that’s what you’re going with?”
“He seems like a lovely guy. Every interview I’ve had with him he’s shown he has nothing but a charitable heart.”
“And access to his bed,” Barry interjected. Hal continued to gape at Clark.
“The man has fallen into not one but two wedding cakes.”
“See, he’s harmless!”

The Justice League play Fuck, Marry, Kill. Hal begins to rethink Superman’s critical thinking skills. Barry is just grateful for the team bonding moment. And Bruce is extremely amused by the whole situation... until he isn't.
