“Almost four years ago a tsunami washed through Santa Monica. In the years since the tragedy, Los Angeles has focused on remembering the lives that were lost. A memorial was created and every year on the anniversary thousands of people come together to tell the stories of the people who were lost to the wave.
“Over the past year, a team of volunteers sifted through hours of footage to piece together the untold stories of heroism from that day. Using that footage, as well as interviews with survivors, they were able to put together a series of videos recognizing the heroes that stepped up.
“There were many people that saved many lives that day. But one of the most heroic was someone I know personally. This is the story of Evan Buckley, known by most as Buck or Firefighter Buckley.”Or
On a shift without Buck, his team at the 118 turned on the news to see what happened to Buck during the tsunami. After seeing everything that happened, Eddie struggles to convince Buck that what happened was not his fault. Somehow that results in Buck and Eddie getting together and them finally admitting that Buck is Christopher’s other dad. -
