Summary
The third/final installment of the Restoration series in Matsuri's POV. After finding her beaten, bloody, and unable to speak, Gaara's change in behavior takes Matsuri off-guard. He begins facing his fears of vulnerability and physical contact. All she can think about is if he'll stick around when the apocalypse ends. She should've focused on whether she'll be there to find out.

Summary
Strange things come from the forest and its dark spaces, tight with life. This is a slow-burn romance story that I think technically falls into the hurt/comfort genre, but in the strictest sense in that it's about two people who've dealt with unbelievable hardship -- they don't have an abusive dynamic.
