Summary
Kokoro Hatake managed to get past Gaara's defenses and became the friend Gaara's always wanted. It was hard to regain his trust and to get past strong feelings of hate and fear, but Kokoro was able to overcome them with love, support, and determination. Her time spent on Team 7 was a rollercoaster of emotions. She never thought she would experience half the things Naruto, Sasuke, her dad, and she encountered on missions in and out of the village. She captured runaway cats, fought an S-ranked missing nin, found a long-lost cousin, and survived an invasion.
She became strong in Konoha, and she was forever grateful for everyone who helped her. But she was ready to forge her own path. She was ready to learn in Kirigakure, to learn to protect those she loved most, to learn to be a great kunoichi. Most importantly, she was ready to learn what it meant to be Kokoro.
Living in Kiri will not be easy, but Kokoro is up for the task. With village prejudice, distrust, and loneliness creeping up on her at every opportunity, she's just happy she's still in contact with her loved ones. As Kokoro grows stronger, harder obstacles stand in her way. She wished she could get Gaara out of her head.

Summary
Out of the blue, Tae's father tells him to prepare for a meeting with Jeongguk, as they are to get married.
Well, Jeongguk, a widely recognised attorney, is looking forward to their impending marriage. Yet he is oblivious that Tae is not yet prepared for this commitment.
Despite attending the same university, Jungkook and Tae had minimal interaction during their college days. But, seeing Tae after a span of 7 yrs evokes a sense of change; the once radiant spark in Tae's eyes seems to have inexplicably dimmed. He could see Taehyung has become distant, refraining from expressing his emotions.
Tae's parents don't want him to remain single indefinitely after watching their son's hasty life decisions and consider Jungkook as the most suitable candidate.
So Tae tells Jungkook that his parents, are pressuring him to marry. That they believe this alliance will benefit both the families.
Jungkook abruptly walks away, leaving Tae to believe that he has finally escaped this arrangement, remaining oblivious that his life is going to take an unexpected turn, revealing his past demons in front of the man, he never expected he would ever meet again in his life.

Summary
A self-indulgent Iruka-centric Naruto AU in which Iruka adopts Naruto when the boy is still fairly young and the characters I care about get a bit more character growth. All the fics are technically connected (although I won't promise perfect continuity because my writing tends to be a bit too disorderly for that) and will document the events of the series from Iruka's point of view.
The main ship is Kakashi/Iruka, but other pairings will be implied or mentioned.

“We’re good, Naruto, but are we ready to face off against everyone else?” Ino asked.
“And not just leaf nin, but genin from all the lands,” Shikamaru added.
“Look,” Naruto said seriously, “Asuma recommended us for a reason. I say we trust that reason and go for it! Believe it!”
“This is such a drag,” Shikamaru complained.
Ino hid her smile and cocked her head to the side and said faux thoughtfully, “It’s either this or we keep doing D-rank missions. Do we really want to continue catching that damn cat and cleaning farm equipment?”
Shikamaru winced and admitted, “You have a point.”
