Summary
Jason has a favorite gargoyle. It's the gargoyle on top of the public library that he hung out with ever since he was a street kid in Crime Alley. His favorite gargoyle was always just a stone statue, but when helpful icepacks appear in it's mouth, Jason doesn't know what to think. He certainly doesn't think the gifts are from a boy named Tim Drake that found a new hiding spot on Park Row Public Library's roof.
aka: Jason and Tim become best friends because Tim pretends to be Jason's favorite gargoyle.

"Tim, why are you dressed as the Red Hood?" he asked, his voice choked.
"Duh, why shouldn't I? You're a hero," was the boy's reply, oblivious to his older brother's mind-whacks.
Jason blinked, "Do you really think so?"
"Yes, you're as strong as Batman. But you were Robin before, so you're a lot cooler."

“...don't be too sorry, I'm sure that after your tragic death, Batman will find someone worthy of…”
The Riddler didn't finish his sentence: he was hit by a stone on the head.
The person responsible was a small child – seriously, he was tiny, Jason could have picked him up and put him in a pocket – with a camera around his neck.
He had his face scrunched up in disgust and shouted, "He's a great Robin! You're just jealous!”

"Uhm...Robin?"
“What are you doing here?!” Jason blurted out, trying to stay calm.
“I take photographs,” the boy said, showing him the camera and the teenager tried, unsuccessfully, not to scream. It failed miserably.
"Photo? Are you out here at night for this? You should be at home!"
He should be in his room in Wayne Manor, oblivious to his family's affairs, while they all kept the town safe.
They weren't doing a good job: Batman was missing Robin was alone, and he had to convince Tim to come home without giving anything away! What the fuck!
