“Everyone is dead, yes.” Tanjirō flinches. “Yet here you are, still alive with your mission incomplete. Is this what you’ve been reduced to—into giving up?”
Tanjirō gasps. Everything falls silent and still. Almost…expectant.
Giving up? Giving? Up? Never before has that phrase been in his vocabulary. Not in the two years training under Master Urokodaki. Not in the three, four, five years since he became a demon slayer and watched his mentors, his friends, his family fall to Kibutsuji and his kind. Through pain and heartache, broken bones and bleeding wounds. Through every moment where he thought he lost everything he never once gave up.
No, this can’t stand.
Kibutsuji Muzan proves to be too much for the Demon Slayer Corps. One by one, everyone falls. Until Tanjirō and Nezuko remain, but even that cannot last.

Summary
Within the work of Kimetsu no Yaiba, the war between Slayers and Demons is almost impossible to avoid, even when a few worlds of this universe are lucky to end it quickly. Eventually, it did come to an end with the final generation of Hashira and Upper moons, with Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado becoming pivotal pieces in the conflict. But what would happen if the roles within the war were swapped, all except the Kamado siblings? Can they still end the Demon progenitor of this world? How would the Corps and Demons change under different leaders that grew in a different environment? Well… How about we see for ourselves?
