Summary
It's really pathetic how despite everything All Might taught him, did for him, Izuku is probably going to fail to get into UA. All Might was going to ask for One For All back, and Izuku would have to become a hero another way.
It would take a miracle.He's wallowing back home, the thrill of using a quirk pulsing through him, or maybe it's just the adrenaline of the pain and the fear of going splat after the zero pointer. Who knows? Who cares?
But apparently wallowing home from a school is an omen for Izuku. Villains just love crashing pity parties.
If only this villain was like the sludge monster. If only this villain was human at all.
Izuku Midoriya is killed that day. But don't worry, he doesn't stay dead for long. He wakes up hungry, agitated, and sensitive to the world that has been dialed up to a million. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what has happened. Especially when he meets his reflection and sees his canines are sharper than they used to be.
He's a vampire. Which are real. Somehow.
Now that he's at UA, he just has to hide it - which is apparently easier said than done when you have an overly eager conspiracy theorist for a classmate.

Summary
The uncaring universe lurks, vast beyond our perception. A stray asteroid could wipe every last human off the face of the planet. Some angry person with a bone to pick and a quirk to match could walk into any building and end lives there without reason or meaning. Even without war, without disease, without famine nor accidents nor simple human cruelty, time itself would come for us all, here in every end of every story.
Nevertheless, we make our moments of meaning, grasp them from the jaws of apathy, tear the skin of our fingers open on their edges as we white-knuckle our hope, our love, our dreams against the endless storm of the universe's tragedies. Nothing matters and we're all going to die, but maybe, together, we can make something worthwhile before we go.
