Summary
Shouta crosses his arms, closes his eyes, and tries and fails to ignore the way his mind keeps pulling him towards the student sitting alone in the back of the bus.
Todoroki is wearing his gym uniform today just like they had discussed he could and he’s even carrying some prototype gear the support department had cooked up to account for his left side.
Shouta shouldn’t be worrying about him at all.
But for some reason he is.
The bus arrives, the class troops inside, Thirteen gives a speech— and suddenly villains are attacking and Shouta has more to worry about than just Todoroki.

Summary
Kaminari Denki is a 22 year-old male presenting with recurrent seizure disorder and altered mental status in the setting of a recent traumatic brain injury. Patient arrived from outside hospital unconscious following head-strike and overuse of electrification quirk.
Midoriya Izuku is just one of many nurses in his hospital's neurology step-down unit. Kaminari Denki is just one of many patients whom he'll meet over the course of his career. Even so, there's meaning to be found in the quotidian, and perhaps their encounter is a little more than ordinary.

At the dawn of the age of Quirks, In a nondescript room of a nondescript government building in Japan, a person who would have been known as All for One sits shackled to a metal chair, used as a weapon against all those that are like him.
The vestiges of the Quirks he was forced to take away roil in his head, and fill it to bursting.A shadow among many wonders how this came to be.

Summary of Learned Helplessness:
In one world - in many worlds - a boy grew to be a monster while his brother fought to oppose him, even past death.
This is not that world.
In this world, there was never a feud.
In this world, that boy never took the name All for One.
In this world, he never cast off the name Hisashi.
Instead, it was taken from him.
