Summary
Ed needs to blow off some steam, so he buys a thrift store wedding dress and pretends to be a runaway bride, in hopes someone at the swanky bar he wanders into will ravage him into oblivion. Stede sees a vision in mint green, but isn’t sure he will be of any interest to this mysterious stranger. Archie watches two cringefail men fall head over heels for each other.

Summary
He knows his duty. He knows what they are here in England to do. He has been bred for this, all of his father’s hopes placed on him as if he were a prize racehorse that has been aimed at the Epsom Derby.
He’s even been sent to a top trainer - Mister Buttons is reputed to be the best minuet dancing master in ——shire, and Stede has suffered under his tutelage for many years now. His father has insisted on it; made sure that Stede knows the minuet and cotillion and the scotch reel. Has paid no heed to Stede’s youthful protestations that dancing is unmanly, that the boys at school tease him for taking extra classes. That they do the bare minimum required, and then run away to hunt, or take swordsmanship classes.
It is not like Stede needs any more fuel onto the fire of unmanliness, even though there’s something in him that delights in it all. The swirl of silks, the bright colours, the achievement of being able to complete a social task without faltering. But he’s learned early that everything he yearns for is everything he ought to reject.
A Regency ball, a planned match, a dashing war hero...
