"Is it okay if I hug you?"
The gentleness in Niragi’s tone unlocks something inside him and he feels like crying, only holding back a sob with the upmost effort. It’s always one or the other extreme with him, once he’s in this certain state of mind. Sometimes he craves the support and closeness his boyfriend offers, other times he can’t stand even the smallest of touches. Niragi has learnt how to read the signs and how to approach without smothering him.
It’s fairly rare for Chishiya to feel overwhelmed by his emotions, to let them overwhelm him, but when it happens every once in a while, he feels like breaking.
He’d rather break in Niragi’s arms tonight than alone on his side of the bed.

Chishiya is exhausted and stressed from work at the hospital and his approaching final exams. Niragi is there to comfort him.

Banda’s smile turned feral. His hand slid to the back of Chishiya’s head, fingers threading through those platinum locks possessively. Their eyes stayed locked, pupils dark and dilated.
“You look desperate,” Chishiya murmured coolly. “Already hard? Tsk. Must’ve been a dry spell for you.”
Banda only chuckled, twisting Chishiya’s hair and making him wince slightly. He leaned in, voice a whisper. “Suppose you’ve been a little busy.”
“Exes stay exes for a reason.” Chishiya replied, lips in a thin line.
