Author Note: Not for fans of Wanda Maximoff. I hated how there were no consequences for her after AoU. I’m also not thrilled with Steve and Natasha’s canon behavior, especially in this movie and later. So, they don’t come off all that great in this. (I read a lot of Wanda criticism, & for some reason it never occurred to me until reading this fic, during the first scene with Fury, that Wanda's recruitment makes even less sense given that AoU comes after the CAtWS data dump; i.e.: where we found out what a bad idea recruiting ex-Hydra members was the last time someone tried it...)

The idea for this was sparked by a somewhat offhand sentence in ChokolatteJedi's excellent story Clearance Level A1-0: "With his bizarre health records, most of the hospitals in the area knew DiNozzo; it was something of a miracle that the doctor he was sent to seduce and all of her coworkers hadn't made the connection." Which, rather predictably, led to the question, "What if someone did recognize Tony – and inevitably spilled the beans?" This is that story.
