Summary
It was the end of the school day, and like the other kids around him, nine-year old Dick Grayson was stuffing books and papers into his backpack to take home.
Mrs. Simmons was walking around the room passing out some papers to each of the kids. As the paper landed in front of him on his desk, Dick read it. A Father/Son dinner was to be held next Friday evening at seven p.m.
The paper was snatched out of his hand.
"Hey!" Dick looked up at Tommy Snyder, bully extraordinaire. His father owned a large dry-cleaning business franchise.
"What's the matter, charity case? This isn't for you anyway! It's for fathers and sons . . . Not rich men and their boy toys," Tommy sneered.
----
This story covers the events that lead Bruce to discover that Dick is more to him than just a ward, and moves Bruce out of the role of guardian and firmly into the position of parent. He discovers however, that parenthood is turning out to be a lot more hand-on than he had expected.

Summary
When Project Rebirth fails, leaving the super-soldier serum inert in his veins, Steve Rogers is forced to bid goodbye to his dream of defending his country -- at least, in the way he'd always envisioned it. But his prospects in that regard aren't entirely bleak: he takes a job as chronicler for Tony Stark, the former Marvels adventurer who now serves his country in his typical unorthodox style, hunting down mystical relics before the Nazis can find them. At Tony's side in the jungles of Peru, Steve discovers that the serum works after all -- but it works in ways he could never have imagined.

Summary
For a frighteningly long time, Tam just looks at him, making him squirm in his seat in a way very few people can. He half expects her to get up and leave like she did after the thing with her dad happened, but she just sits there.
“Ninja,” she says eventually, making him flinch and look down at his pizza. Maybe he deserves the terror of actually eating the thing.
“Yeah,” he says. “I really am sorry about that, Tam. I didn’t know what else to do.”

Tim has some things he needs to make up to Tam. It seemed like a good idea to ask Jason for help at first. A Twitch stream, a previously undiscovered talent for baking, and a fandom are the result. -

Summary
In English class, they did a poetry unit, and Chris had liked it more than he'd expected. Not all the poems, obviously, but he likes poetry in general, as it turns out. Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson and even Shakespeare, the rhythm of the sonnets, the language. He'd liked the unit so much he went to the library and got out a poetry anthology, so he could find other poems he'd like too.
He brought the book back to his grandparents' house and flipped through it in his room, stopping on any title that caught his eye, letting the words wash over him.
On page 78, he found, "Childhood is the Kingdom Where Nobody Dies," and he felt his heart stop.
It wasn't exactly that he wanted to read it. But he had to. He couldn't have stopped if he tried. And once he'd read it, he couldn't stop thinking about it. He went online and printed a copy, kept it hidden like contraband under his bed because he didn't want Abuela to find it when she was cleaning and ask about it.
