One moment, Red Hood was fighting with Black Mask, listening to the idiot go on about how he'd murder Jason long before he'd become a problem. The next... Jason was ten years in the past, nine-years-old, and fending for himself on the streets of Gotham. Bruce might not know about Jason yet in the timeline, but Batman was the only one who could protect him against Black Mask.
If only Jason didn't hate him so much...

Insulting him for his obliviousness. World’s Greatest Detective, people call him. Bruce thinks that he ought to return the title.

The words ring dully through his ears once again. He is hanging from the grappling line. Having followed his newest target back to Black Mask’s office. Said newest target being a brand new shiny criminal, running around in a bright red helmet, leather jacket, and form-fitting body armor.

Summary
Now that the JLA knows that Batman is actually a Tired Dad, they can’t help but turn their eyes to Gotham. The Batkids are concerning, a nightmare is unfolding in Gotham and Batman is compromised. Determined to follow protocol, the JLA steps in to help. However, the Batkids are not okay with this and will not allow the JLA control of Gotham or of them.
Or, the Batkids continue to annoy the league and learn they may have overreacted, the league learns that being a parent is hard and they may have taken this following protocol thing too far and everyone learns that relationships take work.
