“Can I have a kiss,” Yushi murmurs. Daeyoung’s almost done and he gets impatient, sometimes. Mostly because he’s weak to having a beautiful woman lean down over him.
“Sure,” Daeyoung grins wider. And she kisses him.
This is their seventh winter together as a couple and something like their twenty-ninth as friends. Or whatever you’d call that relationship. Daeyoung was four years younger and so fucking clingy, chasing after him like he was something worth chasing after. It was fine when they were kids but when Daeyoung transitioned fresh out of uni, Yushi was a little freaked out by how caring she was. After all, Sion and Daeyoung’s mom had been convinced that Yushi gave her baby boy the transgender disease.
But now already been seven years and some change and Daeyoung is still kind. Still sweet. Almost to a syrupy extent, saccharine and only getting sweeter. Yushi tilts his head back and leans up for her as she mouths at him.
She's trying to seduce him and it's working. Yushi might just let her. Sion noona's gonna kill them.

"Hm. You still smell like that alpha." Yushi reached across the table, taking the proposal out of Daeyoung's hand and holding his wrist up to his nose.
"Sajangnim?" Daeyoung squeaked, trying to tug his hand back. "I don't think this is necessary!"
Yushi rubbed his wrist defiantly over Daeyoung's, smiling when the scent of lavender faded. Even with Daeyoung's worse sense of smell, he could tell that Yushi's bergamot was filling the air around them.
"There. Now you smell like me."
After three years of working for Yushi, Daeyoung doesn't understand why Yushi is suddenly so obsessed with his scent. Even worse is that Daeyoung has to balance Yushi's odd behavior with his growing infatuation for his boss, surprise courting gifts, and his coworkers knowing something he doesn't.

The blond haired man turns around, facing Daeyoung. He pouts. "Why not?"
"Because…" Daeyoung can't even finish his sentence.
His words are stuck in his throat. Looking at Yushi, the way his hair is still damp from his shower, water droplets dampening his sheer white shirt. Oh, fuck, why did he have to wear white? The slight curl of his lips, knowing that he has won Daeyoung over even before he even made the suggestion.
Or: Daeyoung has long forgotten about Yushi. Turns out it takes one unwashed white shirt and a bundle of messy hair to figure out he was lying to himself all along.
