a.k.a. the Firefly AUThe crew of Starcourt was already a little weird - the hyperactive engineer, the tiny and deadly first mate, the dashing ship captain - before they needed to take on passengers to pay for whatever part of the ship is about to fall off next.
Chrissy just didn't expect them to be this weird...or in the case of Eddie Munson, this cute.

A miserable Eden sticks a rope of candy between her molars, whining as she chews. “When will it be my turn? This whole bonding gift thing is just, ugh,” she sticks a ringed hand into Chrissy’s snack bag, “it’s wack as hell.”
“It is your turn, Eden!” Chrissy says while moving her snack out of reach, “You said this morning that when you woke up, everything smelled like weed and you couldn’t get it out of your nose—”
“Chrissy, it has smelled like weed on and off for months, and trust me, at this point I’m convinced that a skunk died in my attic and my idiot dad doesn’t have the balls to go scrape the thing off the floorboards.”
