Summary
“First of all,” Chan sighs, the bags under his eyes revealing how exhausted he is, “I’m glad none of you are injured.”
“I have a bruise on my shin,” Jeongin chirps, just to be helpful. He immediately regrets it when he sees the overflowing worry on Jisung’s face and the way Hyunjin looks like he’s about to have a stroke. “It doesn’t hurt. I’m fine,” He immediately amends.
“You,” Changbin seems torn between praising Jeongin or scolding him, “Roundhouse kicked him in the crotch.” He accusingly points to wide-eyed Felix next, “And you swung him around like you were playing helicopter and he was the skipping rope.” Changbin flits his eyes to Seungmin, sees the smile of no regrets, and weakly buries his face in his hands, “I don’t even want to think about what you did.”
Minho winces, scrolling through his phone, “We’re viral. We’re so, so viral.”

Summary
“Fuck. Lix!” Seungmin dives down, wrapping his arms around him and launching them both under the dining table. The expensive vase Hyunjin gifted him for his birthday tilts from the countertop and shatters across the tile.
“What the hell,” Felix whispers, barely heard over the entire building shaking from left to right and up and down. He curls more into Seungmin. He tries to drown out the creaking of the walls and the sound of furniture slamming into each other. “What the fuck.”
“It’ll die down soon.” Seungmin grits.
And then the floor caves in.

Summary
Growing up didn’t make Ni-ki stop needing his brothers.
It just changed the way people looked at him.
He got taller. Stronger. Quieter. Reliable in ways that made everyone proud, and slowly, quietly, alone. No one meant to leave him behind. No one noticed when the maknae role slipped out of his hands and into someone else’s.
By the time anyone realizes, Ni-ki has already learned how to endure by himself.
This is a story about absence that wasn’t cruel, love that never disappeared, and the quiet damage of adapting too well. About a maknae who didn’t shrink as he grew, only changed shape. And about seven brothers who learn that growing up doesn’t mean standing alone.
