Summary
He tried really really hard this time because he wanted to impress the Crafts. They were far different than any home he'd been to and he wanted to make Phil proud. He even got his new foster brother to help with this stupid fucking test, but a C- was the best be could do.
He wiped away frustrated tears. Tommy was never really good at school to begin with. Last semester at his old foster home, he could barely get Ds. Tommy should be proud of himself for getting a C-, but he only felt writhing guilt.

Summary
Tommy pushed down the need to vomit, and finally crawled to the emergency button. He raised a shaky bloodied hand, and pressed the emergency button.
The emergency beeped and a red flashing light came on. Tommy sighed and rested his head against the cold wall. He curled back onto the floor. His other wing was going to come in at any time, but thankfully, hopefully someone will come to his aid.
It was the dead of night, but hopefully someone was on their way. He just needed to be patient. He wanted to crawl to his bed to grab his blanket, but he simply didn't have the strength. He shuddered as the cold tile pressed into his body, leeching away his warmth.
Any time. They'll be here any minute.

He was so little when the zombie apocalypse started, and his mom made him promise that he'd protect Tommy with his life. Three years later, Wilbur would argue he's doing what he can. Tommy was a thin little thing, nothing what a four year old should look like. He doesn't have any baby fat, and Wilbur wasn't fairing well either.

Summary
Did he even want to know what was brushing up against his leg? Curiosity killed the cat. But also, satisfaction brought him back. It was probably just a big ass fish. He'd seen pictures of big ass fish almoat as big as a person, and they could easily knock into him.
He took a deep breath, and sunk the water and opened his eyes.
That was not a fucking fish.
