Summary
The Angel of Death’s purpose was to act on the will of Death. A physical being to arrive on Earth and perform judgements where necessary. To act in His stead.
And Harry? He was perfectly fine with that.
With these set terms, he had a new purpose in life, and one day, he was guided to the city of St. Louis, filled with Preternatural, and with the potential revolutionary. Well, that wasn’t his issue, but there were things meant to die. Things that kept itself from Death’s grasp, or things that should’ve died sooner but didn’t for whatever reason.
He was to kill a man named Zachary, which, cool, no surname at all? But he’d been using a gris-gris (fucking voodoo junk) to keep himself alive, killing vampires to keep himself alive.
And such he was directed to the vampires.

The Angel of Death’s purpose was to act on the will of Death. A physical being to arrive on Earth and perform judgements where necessary. To act in His stead.
And Harry? He was perfectly fine with that.
Regardless, Death had a mission for him. To deal with the devil.
Okay, he just wanted to say that.
His job was to follow the Winchester brothers and guide them.
Death was everywhere at once– even in the future. Harry couldn’t really see too far or his brain would explode, because it was something a human could never process. To be everywhere at once.
And that is why Death knew that Lucifer would get him in chains. To attempt to control him (yet Lucifer would not know of the Angel of Death’s existence, as he’d been made after Lucifer was caged).
Fate has told its tale (or an elaborate way of saying ‘Death knows all’), and thus Harry would make sure that it followed the smoothest path it could.
People often forget that Death is as old as God, after all.
..Not to mention if an angel will already be guiding them, why couldn’t he?

And then he found him.
He who Harry believed was why Death had sent him here, and it got his wings fluttering in joy.
The Merchant of Death. Or, he was technically the to-be in the future, the Merchant of Death. Sure, the public has named Tony Stark that due to his weapons, but the public feared what they did not understand.
Tony was leagues above everyone else, and quite a special person. He could do so much, and has happened to have certain things, certain connections in both the future and now.
It was like, him being the supposed ‘Master of Death’. Filling the requirements, but not quite reaching it just yet.
Of him having the Hallows, but not having made it into Death’s embrace.

But so thus, the Angel of Death was literally just going to be how demigods were for the gods. Which, fair, he’d chosen to do this, and to be claimed as one of Death’s children, however not literally, would be an honour.
The other kids however wouldn’t have had a choice in that, having just been born that way, so it sucked for them.
Man, the gods could at least be more grateful towards their children.
He supposed though, with the small lifespan of a human, that it would do nothing but hurt to get close to them. But then what would even be the point of creating them? Well, probably because otherwise they didn’t have any believers and would fade, but man, no thanks for continuously defeating their enemies. That sucked.

Despite that, and many of his very pissed off thoughts, he was temporarily being lent over to Hades to get his children for him and bring them to the Underworld.
And they also weren’t at camp. Yay.

Summary
Death was eternal and everlasting, so for as long as the world existed, Harry would always have a reason to exist, and a reason to do, instead of having to rely on mortal friends and families to keep him there.
..He just didn't think that it could get so boring.
Death managed for centuries before Harry came along to take up part of it, and no matter how special or powerful a companion is, spend way too long with them and even they can get hopelessly boring to speak to.
Eventually, the guy (gender didn’t actually apply to Death, but Harry was used to thinking in human terms) got annoyed at him.
Very annoyed at him, and shooed him off to act as spectator of a decently interesting world.

Viridian eyes stared at him as he peered through the dark hallway. He tried not to think about it.
“Er, hello?”
It blinked. Once, twice, before he could see the bare outline of a pale jaw open wide, and a voice of a grainy yet echoey quality, as if from an old horror film, speak.
“Oh. Hello there…” The voice was masculine, yet sounded in pain, as if strained in a way yet pretending to be fine, however almost distant in a way as if they weren’t really seeing.
Jon hoped it wasn’t too obvious that he was panicking a bit.
“Are you okay?”
He flinched when the voice suddenly turned distinctly feminine.
“Do I look okay?! Oh my god… I d–” The voice trembled in distress, before it abruptly stopped, as if one were to press the pause button of a recording.
Slowly, it dawned on him. “Are you.. Unable to talk? Only able to communicate by what other people have said?”
“Yes! I said yes Britney! Now please help me–”
Jon winced, unable to help but think of various different scenarios that would lead to so many voices feeling distressed.

Summary
Skull, although forever seen as ‘the civilian’ and thus looked down upon, always prided himself in at least being good at what he could do.
Those things did not necessarily correlate to things that he just.. knew. No actual reason he knew, and he didn’t recall why either. Things that he shouldn’t have known. (lost history. languages. And things that, in general, a ‘civilian’ stuntman shouldn’t know)
It happened way too often for the others to keep questioning him about it when they realized he genuinely didn’t have a clue (they certainly did try for a long time though).
