Kon ignored them and looked at Caroline again; that familiar face with its high cheekbones and almond shaped eyes. Pale like cream and angular - there was a strength to her. He could slightly make out the slope of toned muscle beneath her blouse.

Tim bit back a laugh; there was a twinkle in his eye "You can let go of my hand now"
Kon looked down and realized that yes, he was still holding her (his?) hand and abruptly dropped it with a startled yelp. To which Tim gave him a wink.
"So Cloneboy - you have the debrief or are you gonna stand there gawking all day?"

Tim and Kon are *accidentally* thrown into an alternate universe - popcorn anyone?
'"Kon"
"Like Conner?" Robin asked, tilting his head to the side like a little bird (wow, he was so young)
"No, just... Kon? Like Kon-El"
"Kon-El, as in Kal-El?" It was another boy this time - Kid Flash - Kon's mind supplied, recognising the iconic yellow and red suit of the junior vigilante. KF pushed his way into the storage cupboard which, with the three of them now and the doorway crowded with heads, was definitely too close for comfort.
"Yeah - is it not the same here?" Kon looked around curiously and frowned when the heroes avoided eye contact sheepishly.
"It's just Conner" The Other Him huffed, arms folded across his broad chest.
"Okay 'Just Conner' - lovely chatting to you but do you think that there's, y'know, a way I can get home--"'
Or mainstream comics Tim and Kon meet the Young Justice crew and hilarity (Bearing in mind that this is my first foray into comedy) ensues. A lot of confusion.

Tim blinked his eyes open to the fiery rubble of Metropolis – skyscrapers reduced to ashes, the globe of the Daily Planet hanging precariously from its spire. It reminded him of the original King Kong except there was no giant gorilla or the damsel in distress. There was just a city left in the throes of destruction, the place silent bar the erratic thumping of his heart. “Great, I'm still dreaming” Tim thought as he pulled himself up on shaky legs.
