Summary
Max clears his throat. “We established”, he says, slowly, “That Oscar here, is a good girl.”, he emphasizes good girl , voice syrupy slow, and Oscar shivers.
Charles’ eyes widen. “Is that so?”, he asks, sounding delighted, looking directly at Oscar.
“Uhm,” Oscar says, intelligently. “I don’t— “, he withers under Charles attentive gaze.
He looks to Max, for help, but Max has crossed his arms, and he’s looking between them, clearly amused.
“Okay, I don’t know—what’s going on here?”, Oscar asks, hoarsely. “’Cause it feels like you’re making fun of me and I—"
“Oscar, you dumbass.”, Charles interrupts him, bluntly. “We’re trying to have sex with you”
And with that he leans in and smashes their lips together.
Or: Charles and Max try to Coax Oscar into their relationship like a stray kitten.

Summary
God, this sucks. Worrying sucks. Love sucks. Caring sucks.
If this is the price he has to pay for love, for being in love, for being love— but then he thinks of Max’s smile. Of Charles’ laugh. Of their caring touches, their bad jokes, their terrible singing in the car. The thinks of this morning, in bed, when he felt warm, and safe, and happy. Their first kisses, first times, fumbling and messy and so, so good. Of dinners and lazy evenings on boats, gazing at the sunset.
If this, worrying, is the price to pay for that kind of happiness, he’ll gladly pay it, every day.
Or: Max crashes, Oscar worries and Charles is there to hold them together

Summary
The message has been sitting in Oscar’s inbox for two days. Every time he opens his messages, he sees it, lingers and hastily scrolls it away.
It’s an innocent message really, perfectly reasonable, and for any other person it would be easy to answer. A few months ago, it would have been equally easy for Oscar to answer it.
Hey, Osc, are you coming home for Christmas this year?
Or: Oscar has to figure out how to tell his parents that he has two boyfriends now.

He hates them, sometimes, for what they are doing to Charles, holding him all but hostage, with promises they all know they can never keep, wasting away Charles’ prime, his talent, his passion, knowing he will never leave, bound to them by guilt and a warped sense of duty, knowing what it cost him to get that seat in the first place.
Who is he kidding. Max hates Ferrari always.
Or: The new car is shit, Charles is sad and Max and Oscar are great Boyfriends.
