  Summary

  It was a small idea at first, but Mrs. Asahina was a smart woman, and had soon convinced the Yagami's that Light and Mafuyu were to have weekly study sessions together.

  She was obviously just trying to closen their relationship, hoping one day her daughter could marry the successful Light Yagami. No matter her mother's reasons though, Mafuyu complied, silently saddened that it would cut down on her time with niigo. Light also had his reservations about the arrangement, with Mafuyu's constant presence making it hard to use the Death Note.

  Even so, their first study session came on a Friday night, at Light's house
