“I know you, did ya forget? Of course you’d jump in after me.” He sounds calmer than expected, letting out a soft sigh, a smile audible in his voice. “And of course, you’d succeed. You wanted eternity with me, no? That’s all we’ve got now. All eternity to ourselves.”
That’s what he guesses, at least. Zanka shrugs, finally letting his lover’s hand fall.
“I just gave it to ya the way you’d want to take it.”
