Last time on Dragon Ball Golden Soul, the second son of King Cold named Frieza was nearly murdered by his brother Cooler and accidently sent to Earth. There he was raised and trained by Roshi along with learning many different skills and lessons from Korrin, Mr. Popo, and Kami.
But one faithful day he met the lost Saiyan named Son Goku along with his companion Bulma Briefs. Together they fought shape shifters, bandits, and evil emperors in search of the Dragon Balls. They succeeded and afterwards Frieza decided to have Roshi train the young Goku. Now is where we see their journey together continue.
