A team of Brotherhood of Steel was sent to an abandoned research facility. Their mission was to retrieve a still-active nuclear code, preventing it from getting into the wrong hands (i.e., anyone else). What they found at the facility was... an AI with a mission of its own.

Maxson insisted you kill Danse when his true origins were made known. You allowed the Elder to believe you had, all the while refusing to murder the man who had been your everything from the moment you met after swooping in to save his ass in Cambridge. What happens when it's revealed that Danse wasn't the only Brotherhood name on that list you retrieved from the Institute? Violet the Sole Survivor is here to show one possibility.

    Summary

Every night since they climbed out of that icy crypt and staggered their way back to what had once been home, Bent has dreamt only of his sister. Every night, Nora stares back at him - perfectly preserved in death. He thinks, sometimes, that she's not quite dead - can't be with the way her eyes blame him, plead with him, judge him because "why isn’t he doing anything? Why is he just sitting around when Shaun is out there somewhere? The man who killed me and stole my boy is out there, Bent, do something save my boys-"

Basically a retelling of my Fallout 4 playthrough starring my OC Bent as he tries to make the Commonwealth a better place for his nephew while his brother Nate finds Shaun. It will diverge from and continue past canon events, including original characters and quests. This is also my first time publishing a fic anywhere, I'm just trying to see how comfortable I am doing this.
