Summary
Legend sucks in a breath. “So let me get this straight. You can erase monsters from existence with an arrow, dodge at inhuman speeds, and slow down time by flying from a fire’s ‘air current’? And you call that science?!”
"Yup.”
___
Wild considers all of his abilities to be science, not magic. The rest of the chain vehemently disagrees.

Summary
When Captain Link of the Hyrulean royal guard was summoned back to the palace after two straight weeks of slaying mysteriously strong black-blooded monsters, the first thing he planned on doing was telling Zelda to stop talking and then take a nice hot shower.
He didn't expect other wielders of the triforce of courage waiting for him in the throne room.
He definitely didn't expect one of them to be a walking insanity case.
(In which Warriors joins the chain last and lets just say a knight and a wanderer are two very different things.)

“Watch your words,” Sky said sharply. “That’s my goddess you’re slandering.”
“And that’s my corpse she stepped over,” Wild snarled. “You want to worship her? Fine. But don’t come crying to me when you're screwed over by your so-called goddess.”
The air turned heavy. The smell of blood and soot and divine silence pressing in.

Summary
Time curses every divine being he knows, as Twilight dashes into battle with the newest Hero, and the Hero reciprocates, nothing but a blue blur as the kid slows time, effortlessly landing hits that no regular hylian could dream of. Hell, this guy is landing hits that no mortal could think of, as he backflips once more, rushing towards the rancher, but never getting the chance to beat Twilight up. Sky and Warriors drag the new kid away, and Twilight is held in place by Time, as his firm hand clamps down on Twi’s shoulder. He's breathing heavily, a small stream of blood flowing from his nose.

Summary
(New/Updated!)
It’s been a year since they left Wild.
It’s been six years and four months since Wild had last seen his brothers. Wild had counted the days, tallying them on the tree next to his house, until his life is flipped upside down when his adventure started. Time seemed to slow down and speed up, days turning into nights as he worked to find Flora, but never did the back of his mind leave the topic of his brothers… and now that he has them back, he makes no means to ever let them get hurt again.
(Or: Wild makes a deal with Dark Link. Nobody is happy about this)

Trapped in the depths of the Lakebed Temple as it floods, Time and Wild have to race to escape. There are only two problems.
The first is that Wild has been hiding an intense fear of the water. The second is that something is lurking in depths with them.

“Daruk. Urbosa. Revali. Mipha.”
He says their names like a prayer spoken too late. Like the kind of prayer you say at a grave, not a battlefield. His hands fall to his sides. “I’m sorry. I never wanted to fight you. But I’m not here to hurt you. I’m here to save you. To make right what time and fate destroyed.”
His voice catches, falters, then carries on, soft as falling ash. “I failed you once. I won’t do it again.”

Summary
The Ancient Sheikha were far from stupid. So, when they were digging into the Zonai and found a glowing stone with the capacity to power three divine beasts alone, they naturally sent it to their biggest project. While attempting to figure out how to draw power from it, they accidentally melted it down. Prompting some new ideas, some far for experimental than others. However, they ultimately decided to backtrack and restored the stone to its original form. When the Shrine of Resurrection was completed, the Sheikha added an emergency protocol. Should it ever be the case where the shrine was failing to bring back either Hylia’s hero or her descendant, the shrine would melt down its power source and inject it into them. After all, that amount of power should bring anyone back if it doesn’t kill them, but those chosen by Hylia or related to her should be more than able to handle it without repercussions.
Oh how wrong they were.

Hero. Quest. Link lurches backwards, feeling like the ground under him was pulling away. These strangers carried themselves like they knew more than they let on, he could see it. The firm set in the shoulders, the tired, battle-worn look in the eyes, the forced air of control, of calm. Link sees it. He sees it every time he looks in a mirror.

Summary
The unthinkable happened. The Calamity won, and darkness reigned over the land.
Hyrule is shattered, chunks of land ascending into the sky, luckily missing any settlements.
The Sheikah barely have a chance to activate the Shrine of Resurrection before it too ascends.
High up in the clouds above, the long forgotten Loftwings sense new islands ascending into the sky.
Only this time, there's a flickering light of a soul deep inside one of the islands, sealed by something they can't recognise. It makes them curious, so they reach out and feel something unknown connect.
That is, until a new soul emerges from a place full of unknown technology, a blank slate they latch onto.
The Hylians had no way of knowing the old stories of the Loftwing soul bonds were actually true.
Or: Upheaval and Calamity basically happen as the same event. Hylia sends her hero into the skies to keep them safe once more. The Loftwings that remain up above decide Link is their favorite Hylian of all time. They latch onto him immediately, and now Link has a ton of bird friends.

Summary
One would think that you couldn’t marry the dead. After all, if they even were still in this realm. It is impossible to communicate with them. That’s what everyone thought until one Hylian proved them all very, very, wrong. You see, Link loved Mipha very much. To a degree that even without memories he felt an unmatched warmth in his heart. So, as he was running about Hyrule freeing the divine beasts and doing other things. He kept an eye and ear out for anything that might help his dilemma, and a certain statue in Hateno noticed. Link left the statue that day 10,000 rupees shorter but with the knowledge of an ancient, dark ritual. So, when the night of the blood moon came, when dark magic was strongest, he cast it. While it didn’t need Mipha’s consent, her giving it anyway made the process a lot easier. They were bonded together by the ritual and now they could hear each other, see each other, touch each other once again. Unfortunately, there was the side effect of some of the dark magic clinging to the both of them, Mipha more than Link. While this had the downside of severely affecting how she acted, it also had the plus side of empowering her grace. Mipha’s Grace was now constantly active, and Link could not die.

Summary
When Link had moved, it had been largely instinctual.
He didn't even realize what he was doing until Vah Ruta responded.
He looked around the control room, just to be certain there was no one else. Well, there was Mipha's spirit but she looked just as surprised as he did.
D- Did he do that?
Or: Link gets a lot more control over the divine beasts that he ever thought he would. Who thought this would be a good idea?

Link doesn't know what to make of Wild. None of the Champions do, but Link is confident that he's struggling the most.
Because as odd as it is to see little Sidon now tower over Urbosa, nothing can compare to the weirdness Link feels when he looks at Wild; the stranger who looks like him but wrong.
A.K.A. Mid-quest, Wild ends up in Age of Calamity. No one is happy about this.

Summary
Sky's breath hitches. They are similar. Sky can see it every time he looks at Wild for a moment too long, every time the hero tells of his own tale. Their stories are similar, but they are terribly, terribly different in all the ways that matter.
Wild turns, slowly.
"You…never defeated Demise, did you?"
---
(or: Hylia's Heroes have been gathered from across time for one, final quest. Their enemy is closer than any of them recognize.)
(or: Or: Of all the heroes Demise could have ordered him to kill, it just had to be the one with resurrection powers. Honestly, he thinks Hylia might just be playing with him at this point.)
