Una makes it clear she approves, as long as he keeps it on the up and up; there's no way in the world he could ever do anything to jeopardise Tilly's dreams, so that's surprisingly easy. It's a comfort just being around her.

Chris is in the middle of reading a whole bunch of terribly dense, migraine-inducing reports when the door chimes, and he says, "Come in," on autopilot. He doesn't expect it to be Tilly (she rarely comes in here), and he also doesn't expect her face to light up and for her to practically bounce across the room to him, setting down the PADDs from engineering without a second glance.

Chris' teeth are chattering with the cold, but he works efficiently, using his phaser to heat a patch of rock, then herding Tilly gently to sit down near it. She's even colder than he is, moving sluggishly and less responsive than he'd like. Given they're soaked to the bone, none of the choices here are great, but awkwardness in the pursuit of saving their lives seems a reasonable bargain.
He tears open a thermal blanket, then channels every impersonal nurse he's ever met and says, "Let's get you out of these wet clothes, hmmm?"

Pike's face always lights up when he sees her these days (which she's trying so hard to ignore, because she knows nothing's going to happen, but it makes her so soft); then he says, "Ensign, walk with me."
And she does, because hello, Captain, but also because it's Pike, and she very much wants to be someone who can be there for him. She just didn't actually expect him to take her up on it.
