Summary
Natalia stops snoring. It’s quiet in the bedroom, the kind of quiet that comes from being horrible enough or strange enough to out-survive the things that tried to kill you.
Raúl opens his eyes. He wants to know Sofía’s secrets, he realizes. He wants to know everything about her, and then he wants to show her how even her darkness - because he knows there’s darkness to her, even if he doesn’t know the exact circumstances of that darkness - wouldn’t scare him off. He wants her to lay bare everything to him: her wants, her fears, her pain, her joy.
He wants to give her what she wants: a world with no secrets.

As everybody's least favorite teddy bear, Monokuma, explains, they're going to be in this mansion for the rest of their lives... unless they kill one of their own and get away with it. In this chapter, we meet the participants, and they learn about the game.
