Shouto and Touya weren’t close growing up. After their high school graduation, both Fuyumi and Touya moved out and cut off contact with Enji due to past abuse. Until two years after graduation when Touya needed to move back home.
They take the time to try and form a real bond, only for their brotherly relationship to turn sexual.
After realizing he went too far with Shouto, Touya abandons him. Instead of moving on, Shouto’s left traumatized and alone, turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms and passing the trauma onto others.
