In most worlds, Luz Noceda is guided to the Boiling Isles, through one way or another. She finds a family in a realm beyond her own, discovers ancient magic, and overthrows a tyrant and saves the realm. Her story has some rough moments, yes. But usually she overcomes them and makes everything better.
In fact, almost every world has Luz being victorious, happy, and saving everyone.
But not this one.
In this world there are no Boiling Isles. Just an unforgiving facility for all the freaks and unusual. Those who have unnatural abilities.
In this world, there is no saving everyone.
And those who are saved might not be sane.
Or...
Luz kills her mom accidently with powers and gets kidnapped and sent to a facility!!! She gets trauma, trauma, and, what's that? That's right! More trauma!

This is the story of Eda just blowing everyone's assumptions in one go. A story of Vee, Luz and Khione being raised by Eda Clawthorn...let's see how long it takes for Lilith to blue screen at the idea of her sister raising triplets on her own (lie Khione was the only biological one of the three, Luz accidentally found a pond that was tied to a temporary portal after the death of her mother shortly after her father's passing when she and Khione were eight, and Vee has only been part of the family for a year since her escape and separation from the other basilisks)
