Someone next to Eivor let out a long, hissed curse. “When he is done,” Birna said, leaning toward Eivor, “would you bury me someplace nice where there’s a lot of sun?” As Eivor smirked back at her, bemusedly, Birna added in a mutter, “Now there’s a love.”
