Summary
The small city of Arkham, Massachusetts, has become the location of the Outer Grail War, a ritualistic war pitting Seven Masters and Seven Servants against each other, for the prize of having their greatest wish granted. A young girl of faith from out of town, Heather Crowley, is chosen as one of the Masters, and soon learns that her estranged sister, Lavinia Crowley, is involved in the Grail War as its overseer, with a Servant of her own.
At odds with her sister once again, Heather and her Servant participate in the war, determined to put an end to it one way or another, as well as find out the truth behind the dark powers that made this ritual possible. -
