Summary
A clan of dholes, hundreds strong, settles in the area by Baloo's dwellings and Bundo their leader begins an antagonistic relationship with Bagheera after trying to cull the cubs. Sensing a new battle on the horizon, the panther takes Simba as his new apprentice and trains him and Tarzan to face this new threat.

Summary
Tarzan is a "Man-Cub" raised by gorillas in the jungles of Bukuvu and mentored by Bagheera the black panther, who teaches him the "Law of the Jungle". Some years later, Tarzan is threatened by the leopard Sabor under the orders of Shere Khan the tiger and finds himself separated from his family when he then befriends a lion cub named Simba. Together, they get tangled up in a wild adventure as they encounter some of the jungle's inhabitants while Tarzan's family and teacher attempt to find him before Shere Khan's lackeys. Arc 1 of the "Two Brothers Under the Sun" series.

Their visit pushes the question about a queen for the jungle, but since Shere Khan's chosen one can't bear cubs, Bagheera is hardly fit to be his queen. Thankfully, the visitors bring a monkey who holds magic and may be able to solve this problem.
