Summary
Tenzin studied her, his expression unreadable. “I see,” he said after a moment. “I suppose I asked because… well, she’s my friend. I care about her.”
Koko’s eyes narrowed just slightly. “She wasn’t always your friend.”
That landed like a dropped stone.

Summary
"You’re… you’re here.”
Lin’s voice came out as a breathless whisper, shaky and fragile, barely more than a murmur. Disbelief clung to every syllable. She could hardly believe the image in front of her was real- not a hallucination, not some cruel mirage born from stress and grief.
But Koko didn’t answer right away.
Instead, she silently dropped to her knees beside the shattered remains of the glass. Without a word, she began to pick up the jagged pieces one by one, the soft clink of glass on tile filling the stillness of the apartment. Her lips were pressed into a tight, unreadable line, and a faint furrow carved itself between her brows. Her movements were slow, careful. Deliberate.
“Where else would I be?” she finally muttered, her voice flat and quiet, like an afterthought.

Summary
Standing there, framed by the doorway and blinking at her, was the same petite man from once before- Jin. His wide eyes met hers, his breath shallow, clearly startled by the explosive way she'd opened the door. But Lin didn’t care. Her focus was razor-sharp, her voice a low growl full of demand and dread. Etiquette be damned, she would use her position of power anyway she needed to now and the only way to she knew was force.
“Where is she?”

Summary
Behind her, the sound of footsteps broke through the darkness- fast, heavy, unrelenting. They weren’t random or panicked. They were steady. Measured. Predatory. The rhythm of the chase echoed off the buildings around her, magnifying the terror that coiled in her chest.
It wasn’t just someone following her. It was someone hunting her. And they were closing in.

Summary
When Hana is hired as the new RCPD lieutenant, in charge of training recruits and mentoring high-ranking officers, she never imagined that the most complicated mission would be dealing with her own feelings. A casual conversation at a bar leads to an unexpected day off and a dinner on Air Temple Island, where secrets come to light and Hana begins to realize that she feels something more than friendship for her boss.
Despite not being sure if her feelings are reciprocated, fate insists on bringing them together, and this becomes somewhat difficult not to happen when they both live in the same building. Between misunderstandings, moments of complicity and the pressure of their responsibilities at the RCPD, Hana and Lin try to navigate a relationship that begins as a simple friendship, but threatens to turn into something much more intense.
But nothing is simple on the path to the heart, and ghosts from both of their pasts appear to try to interfere. Unresolved ex-relationships and old ties begin to test the limits of both their trust and feelings, making it even harder to ignore how they really feel about each other.

“Thank you, Lin, for everything and forgive me..” he said, already holding his glider in his hands and entering the personal space of the woman next to him.For a moment, his blue-gray eyes jumped from her jade eyes to her lips and back again. She could smell his scent more intensely, she felt his breath close to her, and he brought his hand to her scarred cheek, their gazes met again, causing her to start to lose control. He looked at her lips again and brushed his thumb across her lower lip, sending tremors through Lin's body.
...
Will they both take a leap forward in their feelings, or will it take an extra push for both of them to realize what they really want from each other?

Summary
"I’d like to take you out," she said, her voice low as she gently placed her other hand atop Koko's, fingers brushing lightly against her skin.
Koko immediately shook her head, her tone firm. "No way," she replied with finality, "You’ve been working overtime, putting in all that time and effort into keeping the city as safe as you can. I’ll plan the date again. You just need to look pretty."
Lin raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Koko, I know where I’m taking you and I’ve already bought the tickets," she said, her voice deadpan.
Koko gasped, her eyes widening dramatically. Her mouth dropped open in mock betrayal, and her free hand flew to her chest, clutching at her imaginary pearls. "You dirty cheat!" she exclaimed, eyes sparkling with amusement.

Summary
Lin closed her eyes, a deep sigh escaping her as the memories came flooding back. The cold of that night, and many after that, felt fresh, as though it had just happened. She could still feel the chill in the air, even though Kya had been right there beside her, her naked body pressed against her. The heart-wrenching pain had torn through her chest- sharp, like a knife, but at the same time, dull, as if it were something that would never go away. The tears that had seemed endless that night, each one heavier than the last. Her eyes had been swollen, her nose running as she lay curled up on her side, the sheet tangled around her bare hips. The weight of that grief, that deep ache in her heart, had been suffocating, and even Kya’s presence, warm and comforting, hadn’t been enough to take it away. But Kya had stayed. And Lin, though she never let on, had needed her more than she realized.
"You were a good friend." Lin choked out.

Summary
Taking a deep breath, Lin tried to shake off the nerves. She was excited, but the mix of emotions was almost overwhelming. She reached for her bag, running a final check through her essentials: wallet, keys, and of course, a piece of of metal for her to toy with if she got too nervous. She was ready, or at least, she had to be.

"Why now, huh?" Koko rose out of her seat, her wrists still bound to the table as she snarled, "What's changed now? Why not tell me in the alleyway? What changed your mind? Pity? Do you pity me because I spent this past week wallowing over you? I don't want your pity date! You can't even say relationship! It? Is that all you'll refer to it as, not a date, not a relationship? Just an it? Tell me!"

Summary
It might just be Lin's imagination, but for the past week there seemed to be an unspoken game of cat and mouse between Mako, Bolin, and her, each move calculated, each glance never straying too far from the edge of suspicion. She couldn’t shake the feeling that they were intentionally tracking her, their eyes always on her as she entered a room, yet never approaching where others might see. It was as if they knew things about her- things she couldn't quite place, but the weight of their knowing only deepened her unease. There was a strange sense of surveillance, a quiet tension that followed her everywhere. She couldn’t figure out why they were so focused on her, or what it was that they were looking for, but every instinct screamed at her to avoid finding out.

Summary
Lin’s chest heaved with each breath, her anger simmering beneath the surface. The silence between them felt like a countdown to something that was about to explode. "You think this is funny? You think you can just betray him like that, like it’s nothing?!" Lin’s voice trembled with emotion, barely contained rage threatening to break free.
The ground slowly began to crack around Lin's feet, the noise snapping Koko out of her paralyzed fear and confusion, maybe even a bit of arousal thrown in there, but of course, that is not very important right now with her life on the line and all. She wet her lips and looked up at the rage filled chief with earnest eyes, hoping to appear cool and collected. "Jin is not my husband."

Summary
Koko with a man, a man that seems to be familiar with touching her as he casually wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in closely into a bear hug as if they've done it a hundred times before. Koko smiled at him sweetly, her eyes shining like ambers full of joy and affection, her crows feet showing such delight, and her loose strands of hair framing her face fluttering in the breeze. She was breathtaking and she was being breathtaking for this unidentified man, one that she was clearly fond of.

Right now, nothing would grant her more pleasure than wiping that sly grin off her face. She imagined the feeling of her aching hands pinning her to the bed by her hips as she mercilessly ate her out with her thick thighs spread wide and trembling. Summary
‘This Chief of Police must be a real piece of work if the organization is sending one of their best agents to safeguard against her’, you thought. It was an intriguing prospect, sabotaging such a clearly adept and able law enforcement figurehead. You’d literally be the bane of her existence, and that thought just tickled you.
Yes, yes, being a double agent seemed like a pretty nice gig. Working the system, the best of both worlds, etcetera... at least it would be if you weren't treated like a dog on a chain, or a weapon to be held by your world-wide organized crime mafia; the Kage-Gumi. Oh, well. You were used to that aspect of the job by now. What you weren't used to was falling in love with your mission target, and boy were you falling hard. -
