Jet Star, Kobra Kid, Party Poison, and Fun Ghoul are known from one end of Route Guano to the other as 'The Fabulous Four.' Before the days of joyrides in the Trans Am, late nights spent on the roof of the diner, and mutually complaining about the less-than-favorable taste of Power Pup, the Fabulous Killjoys each had to start somewhere. Poison came to the Zones with nothing but two backpacks, their brother Kobra, and a substance abuse issue just waiting to rear its ugly head. Jet Star was recently turned out of Gravel Gertie's, an orphanage in the south of Zone Three run by an odd, off-kilter, yet gentle, old woman. Ghoul, a product of deadbeat parents and some bloody hands, was on a steady path to succumbing to years of injuries, sickness, and neglect. This is the story of how four lost-causes find each other.
!!TW!!: This story contains some graphic depictions of drug and alcohol abuse, and it deals with the aftermath and the process of healing from such addictions. As someone who is in recovery themself, this is my way of letting some of it out :)
