He was curiously indifferent. As if none of it actually affected him or ever could. I had no idea if he was naturally that naive or if Dara and Mandor had deliberately raised him with lacunae in his perceptions.
Or, perhaps, he had simply lied to me about everything. I hoped he had because nothing in his autobiography led me to think he’d survive three days as king of anything, not on his own. Ghostwheel seemed a very insubstantial support in the face of political backbiting.

Summary
This series is a collection of canon divergent AUs that all start from something different happening after Luke trapped Merlin at the end of Trumps of Doom. Some of them also branch off from each other. Generally speaking, reading one doesn't require having read the others even if it's late in the sequence.
I may shift the numbering of stories within the series to reflect new stories with earlier branching/divergence points.

Summary
A parody of Roger Zelazny's first Amber book, Nine Princes in Amber (1970), in the style of a YouTube abridged series. An amnesiac man with a mysterious past finds himself thrust into the politics of a magically empowered group of siblings legendary in their immoderate lust for power and for each other.
This story also spoils later books in the first Amber pentalogy. Not so much the second, if only because I can't be bothered to read it. I have no plans to adapt any of them past Nine Princes.
